A reminder:
Be the person who continues showing up long after the excitement dies, because thatâs where mastery starts
A reminder:
If you want to make more money and build awesome relationships with your new skills, stop trying new methods, teachers, YouTube lessons, or microlearning hacks. It's impossible to become world-class at anything when you start learning something new every three months.
P.S. Think about how most people consume online courses today. They start a new course and rarely implement what they learned in any of the courses. Try different things in order to choose YOUR practice. Then devote yourself to the practice.
I rarely recommend podcasts and shows, but this one is powerful and I LOVE it.
Josh Waitzkin is my favorite person to listen to. To me, he embodies wisdom and healthy ego.
If you havenât read âThe Art of Learningâ, I highly recommend the book.

My favorite quotes from the interview:
***
âI donât know where Iâm going but I know exactly how to get thereâ
***
âPeople havenât cultivated The Art of Loving training, which is a hugely important meta-skill to learn⌠people havenât taken on all of the skills around physiological triggersâaround changing oneâs physiological state at will⌠there are all of these skills we can put together to train at a world-class level.â
âAt Willâ is NOT Fake. Itâs Mastery.
Previously, I wrote about âspeaking on demandâ and why it triggers people. Many of my clients told me how much they hated that phrase. I get it. It feels like pressure, like you have to pretend to say something you donât mean to say.
Letâs flip it.
Iâm coaching my clients to be bold, clear, and spontaneous âat willâ, not âon demandâ.
At will means: you can access the state you need, when you need it, while speaking in a foreign language.
Warm at will.
Professional at will.
Clear under pressure at will.
Risk-taking at will.
Spontaneousâand steadyâat will.
Ready to fully switch to English â at will.
Not because youâre faking it. Because youâve practiced being these modes in English until they live in your body. You know the levers. You can correct your physiology at will. You can become fully trusting that the right order will come in the right moment âat will. You can soften. You can sharpen. At will.
You can remain present and continue speaking with an open heart â willingly, because itâs a choice. Itâs a choice youâve practiced making.
All high performers I know train this skill. They learn to fall in love with their own effort, not just the highlight moments or peak results. They donât wait for the âright mood.â They build it. They rehearse recovery, rupture, grace. Then they executeâcleanly.
If youâre in sales (or any high-stakes role) and you canât be professional on demand, thatâs a skills gap, not a personality flaw. And yesâif you refuse to build that skill, you probably shouldnât be in the job. Harsh? Maybe. Fair? Absolutely.
What this looks like in our work:
Inner state first, words second. We deconstruct who youâre being and what youâre saying in the moment so the form and meaning can finally match. We practice state-shifts from the most authentic place, not from the pressure to perform.
Mode Practice. We rehearse being warm, firm, curious, confrontational, disarmingâso itâs available at will under pressure.
Clarity under load. Short, clean first answers. No wind-ups. No apology tours. There will be no need to repeat, âSorry, my English is not that good.â
Tone precision. Competent and human. Culturally aware. Credible.
Embodied ease in English. We practice your voice in Englishâexpanded, not reduced.
The result? You stop outsourcing your best self to âgood days.â You stop defaulting to filler words, over-explaining, or freezing. You show up on time and on toneâbecause you can make the state you need.
What if âon demandâ isnât pressure, but permission?
If you lead a client-facing team and you want clarity-first spontaneous speaking skills in Englishâat willâDM me for diagnostics. Iâll show you where the pressure breaks your pipeline and how we train resilience, tone, and clean thinking into your teamâs or your own live moments.
So much in this video... An old idea we all need to be reminded of.
I'm inviting you to watch this attentively and notice how he delivers a powerful idea in 90seconds
Approach intelligence with the understanding that no matter what you do, you will never know all there is to know about anything.
Intellect is powerful when combined with wisdom.
If you are in a circumstance where it is impossible to know all the details about the outcome of your choices, move forward and hope for the best.
If, on the other hand, you are rushing to achieve a certain outcome, you are moving too quickly.
Trust your intuition.
You will never know everything, no matter how hard your mind will try.
But is it worth it then?
I say it is. Itâs worth following your intuition even when you donât know what the outcome will be.
It takes a lot of conscious effort without the expectation of success to get where you have never been before. You canât plan what you have never experienced.
For many, a journey to native-like fluency is so new⌠theyâve never done it before. The destination is new too. They have never been there before. They donât know what itâs like to BE there.
Thereâs no step-by-step plan to get to a place thatâs not on the map yet.
You have to figure it out as you go. But you must go and keep going. Stop asking random people for directions.
Connect with those who are already on the other side.
Learn from those who have mastered dedication. They will never sell you a success âformulaâ.
They will teach you to honor your own path and stay on it.
If you want to practice CLARITY in English, DM me, and I'll share the framework that I use.
Right now I have two spots for 1:1 coaching:
- monthly intensive (min 3 months). 1 week a month: 1 call and 6 days of follow-up support.
- 6-month container (1 or 2 weekly sessions, deep individual work)
"I can't speak English professionally on demand", "I can't BE warm/polite/authentic/welcoming in English on demand" - these are some of the objections I hear very often when working with client-facing teams and business owners looking for new influential partnerships.
That's why I wrote the post above âŹď¸
Most people resist the invitation to BE anything but what they already are in their first language or SPEAK differently from how they speak on autopilot because it doesn't feel safe. They can't see the outcome. They think they can't afford the risk. All they feel is pressure.
But when you really, really get it..."on demand" stops being a scary phrase.
It's not about changing who you are or presenting a fake facade. It's about practicing various modes: empathy, understanding, confrontation, warmth, agreement, disagreement - all of them in English.
When the moment comes, you can easily pull out the right tool because you've practiced it before. It's effortless to do because you know yourself in this mode. You know how to BE it, not fake it or hide your truth behind big, smart English words.
Practice what you want to BE.
Then you can embody the ease of expression.
Learning English without ever learning to BE someone in English will get you stuck. All you can achieve is a reduced, translated version of yourself in English. I want you to be in your fullness. We work on expanding your expression, not compressing it.
Clarity on Demand: The Missing Skill in Global Sales.
Your team knows English, but do they know pressure?
I often hear this from my 1:1 clients (smart, senior people):
âI canât speak on demand in English.â
These are founders pitching, sales directors closing, fundraising managers courting partnersâpeople who must respond clearly, in the moment, under pressure, and in a foreign language - in English.
The problem isnât vocabulary. Itâs the ability to be spontaneous and perform at a high level under stakes.
âSpeaking on demandâ isnât faking it. Itâs having a toolbox you can reach for instantlyâso you can be authentic in the moment and still land the point. That means expressing confusion, pushback, integrity, nerves, and charismaâin Englishâright when it matters, not when the mood is right.
When pressure hits, most teams:
- default to fillers and long wind-ups
- freeze or over-explain
- sound uncertainâand lose credibility
I help client-facing teams build clarity-first spontaneous communication in English.
What changes when we work together:
- Sharper spontaneity: concise, on-point answers on the first try
- Pressure-proof delivery: fewer fillers, shorter responses, stronger CTAs
- Culturally precise tone: confident, respectful, directâadapted to the room
- Embodied ease: the skill to be yourself in another language, on demand
How we train:
- Live labs where clear thinking becomes clear speaking. You can't express clarity before you HAVE clarity.
- Curated sessions where they hold steady under pressure and speak clearly
- Embodied ease in English: they learn to say what you mean without over-prep
You can't learn these skills from a textbook. I teach a practical system teams apply daily on calls, demos, pitches, and negotiations.
"On demand" isn't fake. It's professional.
No one will wait two hours for your team to come up with perfect wording in writing before they speak. They don't have 10 attempts to "try" to deal with a frustrated customer. They have 30 seconds to respond and only one shot.
If you lead an international sales or partnerships team and want them to think clearly and speak cleanly in English under pressure, letâs talk.
I'm offering diagnostics to help you get data for your client-facing team's performance in English. DM me and Iâll share the framework we use to get results fast.
From the most recent Sunday Practice Session.
We have been meeting and practicing together weekly since 2022. In the past 2,5 years, we canceled only 3 or 4 sessions.
Imagine how far you can go if you practice weekly for a year! I know because I did.
I sound, write, and speak distinctly and undeniably BETTER than in 2022, even though back then I considered myself more than just advanced.
The community members do too.
My favorite thing in the world is to let people SHINE!
This week we reminded ourselves on the KPIs worth tracking.
Only two questions.
Only three metrics to measure.
Only one exercise a day.
Only one practice routine to follow.
Simplicity is the form of clarity. If you don't know which parameters YOU need to work on to sound unmistakeably natural & authentic in English, consider joining grou pwork in the community.
Every Sunday, 11 am MSK.
I am opening doors for people to try it.
Join ONE session and see if you'd like to stay.
The price to join ONE practice session is $69.
DM or comment if you're ready to join us on Oct 5, 2025.
When youâve tried everything to no availâŚ
When youâve searched and yet havenât foundâŚ.
When the paths youâve taken keep leading you to the same placeâŚ.
When youâve outgrown the shell youâve been hiding inâŚ
Then you know thereâs more for you.
Everything you have tried is great⌠itâs just not THAT.
Thereâs more for you.
You already are at an admirable level - most of you learned English on your own.
You absolutely CAN elevate your skills and your life.
There is:
- Infinitely more money for you.
- Infinitely more opportunities.
- Infinitely better relationships.
- An ocean of deep, meaningful, soulful conversations.
When you know the âmoreâ is on the other side of everything youâve tried before, then you stop looking in the places where youâve already looked.
What you want isnât in a language school. Itâs not in a textbook. Itâs not in an online course from a popular blogger.
Itâs in YOUR decision to devote yourself to practice.
Practice with the people who elevate you, not the ones who will question and second-guess you.
Iâve heard this a million times:
âWhy keep working on your English? Itâs already more than greatâ.
If I had stopped working on it, I would probably be teaching English grammar by the hour today. I wouldnât have native-speaking coaches on my team. I wouldnât be working with executives, creators, artists and business owners who need to BE in English. I wouldnât be coaching business owners to influence, lead with words and vision, and move partners & investors in English.
I wouldnât know how to be present in English.
When the main roads are crowded with amateurs and people who rush to pay with money and never with effort, take the less-traveled path. Thereâs no traffic there. And even if you walk, youâll get to impressive results sooner than those who drive on highways that were built for people with no patience.
To apply for 1:1 work, DM @nataliatokar and tell your story in a voice message. Why do you need better English skills ?
to continue where I left off:
The foundational principles of my method for achieving native-like fluency
The result we work toward: you express your real, authentic self in a foreign language. You stop sounding like a reduced or simplified version of yourself in English. You language skills finally match the level of your presence and influence.
Why this works (and why many methods donât work for advanced learners)
Traditional learning focuses on making you âcorrect.â My method (in addition to helping you sound clear and correct) makes you sound real and authenticâto yourself and others. We donât memorize more rules; we rewire your defaults so that authentic, native-like speech becomes your autopilot.
The principles:
1. Be YOU in English
You don't just perform in English. You embody someone who speaks another language effortlessly. We focus on developing your second-language identity, which naturally leads to expansion, not compression.
2. Shift Your Autopilot
We replace habitual speaking behaviors with what sounds clear and natural in English. Youâll feel your default state of being as you speak in English changeâyour pace, melody, phrasing, clarity will transform.
3. One exercise a day (takes 15â60 minutes).
Precision beats volume. Youâll know exactly what to do and why it matters.
4. Focused 7â30 Day Routines
Every unwanted pattern is changed through a short, structured routine. Clear start, clear end, measurable gain.
5. You Can Choose Your Exercises
I give you a curated menu; you pick what fits your goals, schedule, energy, and capacity. I want you to be able to fly solo and be autonomous AND consistent.
6. Internalize (Donât Memorize) Vocabulary
Words become yours. With the right practice, using them feels automatic and inevitable.
7. Laser-Focused Feedback
You get specific corrections from someone whoâs mastered the skill. Itâs precise, often uncomfortableâalways given with care and love.
8. Master the Basics
We master 9 essential skills and 10 core principles that prepare you to be spontaneous in English
9. One Skill at a TimeâUntil You Can Handle More
As your learningn capacity grows, you will be able to layer complexity without overwhelm.
10. Own the Learning Process
You can create practice routines that fit how you actually live. This is your systemâfor English and for any complex skill after.
11. Grow Your Learning Capacity
Beyond English, youâll learn how to learn skills without a playbookâfaster, deeper, and more independently
P.S.
Right now, there are three paths you can take to master the method and get to native-like fluency:
- 1:1 work. See this post
- pre-recorded program with asynchronous feedback
- community platform for independent practice and weekly group calls (right now we're selling only annual access). Changes to community structure are coming soon.
if you need any of the above, leave a comment or send a DM to @nataliatokar
Main message: âŹď¸
We practice what we want to improve (change).
I have found two ways of being devoted to the practice:
1. You find what works for you and you do it. For years, even decades. You donât just repeat it mindlessly. You evolve as you do it. You commit to the path
EXAMPLE: I work out at home. Itâs been 10+ years with the same coach. And I get only better with her.
I learned to put together my own workouts.
2. You try many methods and approaches until you find what truly works for you. Sometimes you must work with several teachers to get what you need.
EXAMPLE:
Mastering the self and regulating my inner state. I work with several teachers: somatic coaches, yoga teachers, non-conventional therapists.
3. You integrate the practices you have mastered into a method or system that works for you (and potentially for other people)
EXAMPLE:
My method and system of exercises to achieve native-like fluency
If youâre ready for real transformation
If you want to be someone in Englishânot just âspeakâ itâget into the right rooms and stay there long enough for the norm to shift. Thatâs the work we do 1:1: we train the invisible (influence, warmth, intimacy, credibility, felt meaning) until itâs visible in your voice, timing, face, breath, and choicesâespecially when the stakes are high.
I have space in October for deep 1:1 work and Iâm inviting two people who are ready to train inner speech and body-led delivery at the level where results hold.
Diagnostics (required, two steps):
1. Send me a voice note with your context and goals â I reply with a voice note (no payment).
2. Paid Diagnostic (60 min) â we identify the patterns that make you sound foreign or distant, and build a plan to replace them. You get targeted exercises for 3 weeks. $240, credited toward month one if we continue.
If youâre ready to go through what you say you want, apply for Diagnostics.
Send your voice message via DM: @nataliatokar.
Presence Trains Confidence
Right after I published the earlier post about going through pain, I went to my own accent sessionâour first meeting after a 30-day break. I came in with a clear intention: sound unmistakably better, sound more American. What I felt instead was awkwardness. Tension in the air. My coach looked at me and said, very calmly, âIâm waiting for you to drop into your body. Iâm waiting for your confidence. Right now youâre talking from lack of confidence.â
He was right. I could feel it in my body. I was bracing for correction, waiting to be told that a month off had set me back, that I shouldâve practiced more. When you wait to be wrong, you abandon your skill before you even use it.
And then the thing I keep writing about happened again, in real time: presence did what intellect canât. In his presenceâsomeone who embodies the skill Iâm moving toward, someone who lives in that frequency all day, every dayâmy confidence became available to me. Not a pep talk. Not âmindset.â Bodily access.
We started reading out loud. The first attempts were off: disconnected, disengaging. I was still trying to âdo it rightâ with my head. What needed to happen was the thing I teach daily: stop the mental gripping and drop into the body. Take a breath and tune into your inner state before you speak. Trust your body. Let meaning move first; let sound follow.
Ten minutes in, the switch flipped. I was in my body. Confidence online. I read three fresh paragraphsâtext I hadnât seen beforeâcleanly. Minimum corrections. My on-the-fly decisions were accurate.
This is one of the core skills my method trains: making correct decisions in spontaneous speechâthe exact skill that shows up on stage, in negotiations, on investor calls, and in every high-stakes conversation. Last night we practiced melody, vibe, and connection to message so the listener can feel what Iâm saying, not just âunderstandâ the words. The result is never an accident. It is presence + practice.
What presence does that intellect canât:
1) Unpacks whatâs already there (through safety).
In the presence of someone who embodies the skill, your system recognizes safety and your own capacity rises to the surface. You donât âborrowâ energy or confidence from your coach. If your own capacity is dormant, presence lets it unfold. If it isnât there, nothing changes. (This aligns with research on social baseline effects and physiological attunement.) When we are surrounded by people we feel close to, they help us regulate stress/effort.
2) Sharpens your own signal.
By âsignal,â I mean you: your felt intention, breath, timing, and the somatic cues that tell you when a choice is right. In the right presence, self-awareness heightens, noise drops, and you can self-correct in real timeâexactly the micro-decisions we train for spontaneous speech and delivery. (Thereâs growing work on how targeted interpersonal feedback supports faster, more accurate adjustments.)
3) Aligns systems (attunement is NOT imitation).
This isnât mimicry. Itâs synchronyâyour rhythms aligning with a stable model. Studies show teacherâlearner neural coupling and conversational entrainment track with comprehension, task success, and rapport. In practice: you attune to phrasing, pacing, emphasis, and meaning flow faster than any explanation could deliver.
My homework
My assignment this week is the same that I assign my clients: record yourself and practice being in confidence when the coach isnât in the room. Thatâs how results stop being fragile.
None of this contradicts intellect. I value language, clarity, precision. But the order of operations matters: body first, then words; state first, then strategy; presence first, then performance.
