What do you practice religiously and daily? - is it being kind? - is it eating healthy? - is it authenticity? - is it better English? Let’s chat in the comments

How many times did you say the truth and what you got in return was - you were called “cold”, “blunt”, “overly direct” and “criticizing”? Maybe you thought to yourself: - they’re unable to take the truth - but this is THE TRUTH! Why should I pretend to be softer? - a “real” man would be able to hold my emotions and my truth! - they’re just emotionally immature - I know better, but they refuse to admit that I’m right I thought these thoughts many damn times!!!! Until I stopped because I leaned a better way. People used to ask me “why do you criticize?”, and I honestly didn’t see how I blamed others for not living up to my unspoken expectations and standards. Ladies, if you want to be able to express YOUR TRUTH in English and not feel misunderstood, brushed off, ignored, or judged as a “bitch” in response, I get it… I’ve been there. You think it’s a language problem. You may say “We have different mentalities. I’m simply more direct by nature. I was born into a no-bullshit culture, and that’s how we talk!” While it sounds convincing to your mind, it’s not entirely true. Because you scare away intimacy, and you know it. Because you crave meaningful connections, not heady arguments about who’s more right . There’s a way to TELL YOUR TRUTH so that they hear it and respect it. I’m inviting you to join this unique program with my colleague and teacher, Joni Christine, to explore the stories your mind is telling you. Let’s get curious: how many of these narratives are actually true? And how many are holding you back from experiencing the connection that you desire? Check this out: nataliatokar.me/expression

Do you use chatGPT for your social media posts? I swear to God, I hate LinkedIn today because my feed looks like a factory of chatGPT posts. Everyone!!! writes the same copy. And no one stands out.

A message from a person I respect:
“If you want to use AI for all your content and photos, by all means do it. But- you’re trading in your authenticity and magnetism and essence for convenience. Just something to consider. Fast mass production versus soulful, artful writing that takes time and intention… I know which one I prefer.”

My recent LIVE on different levels of CLARITY.

I work with people who learned English to be more successful at work. Once they get the job, the promotion, or the team they wanted, they realize they don’t know how to BE around people when all they know is how to perform. Once they learn how to report to the Board, they want to be heard as individuals, but they don’t know how. There comes a moment when they don’t want to take more. They have so much to give, but once again…they don’t know how. They want to offer their warmth, but people immediately stereotype them as “cold,” “unemotional,” “difficult,” “loud,” or label them as “Russian” or “Latino.” One of my clients shared this: “I want to be ME, but all they see is a Spanish guy who’s trying to speak English” How do you express your warmth in another language? Your truth? Your friendship? I teach the level of freedom and fluency that allows you to be YOU in another language. I work with advanced learners who feel stuck. They have learned everything there is to learn, yet they still sound and feel foreign. They’ve read every textbook but haven’t found a way to be themselves. They keep learning new words, but words still fail them. They try too hard when all they want is to be real. Most live in English-speaking countries and still don’t have real friends. They feel othered, unseen, and misunderstood. Many say, “I sound like a simplified version of myself in English.” I know. I’ve been there—and I’ve built the bridge to the other side. You need to practice VERY differently to reach a new level—and you’re ready. You don’t need to review grammar or repeat what you already know. Now is the time to focus on you and how you learn, rather than just on the language itself. A few more 1:1 coaching spots are open this summer. I offer intensive 4-week containers and transformational 6-month coaching programs. This is deep, very personal work. If you know it’s time, DM me (@nataliatokar) or this channel and I’ll send you a link to my calendar. Let’s have a 20-minute discovery call—confidential, honest, and real.

Language matters. I experienced exactly what she’s talking about but: 1. I would have never found the words to explain my experience in English without her 2. No one talked to me like that about birth in my first language. Many of the things I experienced and lived through were brushed off as “weird”, “not logical”, or “emotional talk”. I felt crazy because my experience didn’t match any of the words I knew. Of course, I sounded irrational, not reasonable, and overly emotional. This video is a perfect example of the content you want for the “internalization practice”. When you know what you know but you don’t know how to say it - do this exercise. Words matter. Language matters. We use language to talk to ourselves in the first place. When you can explain things to yourself, you build unshakable confidence in your own truth. Then you can share your truth with others in the most powerful way. Ladies, if you have given birth to humans, comment below. How does this land for you?

Why your IELTS (or any other language test) results don't matter that much for real-life tasks and true spontaneous fluency?
Why your IELTS (or any other language test) results don't matter that much for real-life tasks and true spontaneous fluency? Here is the definition of mastery: "Mastery is defined as great skill or full command of a subject, not just proof of participation or completion. Certificates often mark a milestone, but mastery involves ongoing learning, application, and the ability to use knowledge effectively in real situations." As soon as you stop applying what you learned in daily life, you stop being the person who has mastery of the skill. Mastery is achieved when you move beyond simply earning a certificate. Many language learners tell themselves that they "should" be fluent enough because they spent so many months/years learning English. The truth is - they learned until they stopped. They got a certificate which proved their ability to prepare for a known test. They still struggle in situations where everything is UNknown - what they will say, why they will say it, how to respond, and how to not ruin the moment /meeting/opportunity by saying what they can say but not what they want and mean to exoress. Being spontaneous in English requires mastery of the skill. There's no time to prepare, and never will be. The present moment shows if you can or can not do it.

Determination to persist before the fruition occurs is the only way that the fruition will ever occur. So many of us want confidence and guarantees first… before we have faith or determination.

My journey as a teacher: 1. Moving beyond C1 and C2 2. Presentations in English 3. Prepared Speech in English 4. Spontaneous Speech in English 5. CLARITY 6. inner speech in English. What is it and why do I care? Would more examples of CLARITY help you?

Discipline isn’t the problem. Dragging disappointment into every month is. Fear doesn’t go away. It gets drowned by focus. You don’t need more time. You need fewer excuses. You’re not out of time. You’re out of reasons to wait. You can’t rewrite January to June. But July to December is wide open. The version of you you’re chasing is watching you stall. Rest if you must. But don’t romanticize quitting. Nothing haunts like half-effort and half-assing your life. July is not for proving your worth to people and things that drained your energy January to June. Every day you stall is a deal unclosed, a conversation unmet, an opportunity lost. The business won’t expand until you do. Your leadership won’t resonate until your English matches your vision. You’re not overwhelmed. You’re just avoiding the work that reveals who you really are. You’ll keep repeating cycles until discomfort becomes more sacred than escape. This month, be bold enough to break the cycle. Let devotion outshine hesitation. For those driven by purpose: 1:1 containers are open in July. If you’re ready to move beyond hesitation and finally align your English with your ambitions, DM this channel or @nataliatokar for a brief, confidential conversation. We’ll explore your goals and see if I’m the right coach to propel you forward—no obligation, just clarity.

My method is rooted in deliberate practice routines. Easy to understand. Extremely hard to implement long-term. Most people find long-term commitments suffocating — because they think they must commit to someone’s rules. They follow a curriculum until no more lessons are left to compete, hoping that will do it. The truth is, a commitment is freeing when you commit to your own growth. Maybe you’re here right now: You’ve got a busy life and want a “faster route.” You tell yourself, “If I grind for six months, I’ll improve your English to the max possible level”. Six months sounds like enough time, right? Let me be clear: I’m not saying six months isn’t worth it. I’m saying that if you practice from desperation, you’ll sprint hard for six months…and then collapse. Because your fuel is fear of missing out, not devotion to your potential. Desperation wants a quick fix. It craves the next challenge, the next deadline, the next trophy. It follows someone else’s plan—because someone else “knows better.” You want the prize for your suffering, and once you’re done, you want to never need to do the same practice again. Devotion says: “My growth is worth consistent care. I’ll bend, break, and rebuild my old habits—because my future self demands it.” Devotion is willing to learn and unlearn, to face ugly patterns and gently replace them. This includes your speaking patterns. In desperation, you chase “how-to” guides. In devotion, you find mentors who help you uncover your truth—so you keep going when it gets hard. In desperation, you practice because you paid for it. In devotion, you practice because you decided it matters. In devotion, you’re committed to trusting yourself and ditching the advice of 99,9% who are not you and can not know what works for you. Commitment under desperation feels suffocating. Commitment under devotion feels liberating. That’s why my community of practice exists: - A library of 7–30-day practice routines, each targeting a key fluency skill - 1:1 calls with members to create the best learning plan for their needs - Exercises designed for advanced learners ready to break autopilot - A container of peers and coaches who hold you to your standard To apply, DM me and tell me: What’s one speaking habit you’re ready to transform for good? **** 1:1 coaching follows the same principle. It starts with a 3-month commitment so you can truly internalize the method. You’ll get custom routines, unlimited support, and real accountability—no quitting before the magic happens. Two spaces for 6 and 12-month containers are open in July. DM me today and let’s make your English—and your potential—truly yours. And let’s not wait — let’s do it this year.
