﴿وَوُضِعَ الكِتابُ فَتَرَى المُجرِمينَ مُشفِقينَ مِمّا فيهِ وَيَقولونَ يا وَيلَتَنا مالِ هذَا الكِتابِ لا يُغادِرُ صَغيرَةً وَلا كَبيرَةً إِلّا أَحصاها وَوَجَدوا ما عَمِلوا حاضِرًا وَلا يَظلِمُ رَبُّكَ أَحَدًا﴾ الكهف: ٤٩ فحينئذٍ تُحْضَرُ كتب الأعمال التي كتبها الملائكة الأبرار، فتطير لها القلوبُ، وتَعْظُم من وقعها الكروبُ، وتكاد لها الصمُّ الصلاب تذوبُ، ويشفق منها المجرمون؛ فإذا رأوها مسطرةً عليهم أعمالهم محصى عليهم أقوالهم وأفعالهم؛ قالوا: ﴿يا وَيْلَتَنا مالِ هذا الكتابِ لا يغادِرُ صغيرةً ولا كبيرةً إلاَّ أحصاها﴾؛ أي: لا يترك خطيئة صغيرة ولا كبيرة إلاَّ وهي مكتوبةٌ فيه محفوظة لم ينس منها عملُ سرٍّ ولا علانية ولا ليل ولا نهار. ﴿ووجدوا ما عَمِلوا حاضرًا﴾: لا يقدرون على إنكارِهِ، ﴿ولا يظلم ربُّك أحدًا﴾: فحينئذٍ يجازَوْن بها ويُقَرَّرون بها ويُخْزَون ويحقُّ عليهم العذاب، ﴿ذلك بما قدَّمتْ أيديهم وأنَّ الله ليس بظلاَّم للعبيدٍ﴾: بل هم غيرُ خارجين عن عدلِهِ وفضلِهِ. تفسير الشيخ السعدي رحمه الله
