#SpiritualTreasures: The Holy Quran cites two attributes of Allah, the Exalted, Al-Hayy, the Ever-Living and Al-Qayyum, the Life-Sustaining. Al-Hayy means the Living and the Life-Giving and Al-Qayyum means the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining. The inner and outer life of everything is due to these two attributes. The attribute Hayy (Ever-Living) demands that He should be adored as directed in Surah Fatiha: We worship Thee; and Al-Qayyum requires that His support should be sought, as in: We implore Thy help. (Commentary on The Holy Quran Volume 1 Surah Fatiha, p. 208)

#DailyHadith: It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that: A man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "What quality of Islam is best?" He said: "To feed (the poor) and to say the Salam to whomever one knows and whomever one does not know." (Nasai)

#SpiritualTreasures: The fact is that Ahadith mention many kinds of Mahdis and the Ulema have created a mess by amalgamating these Ahadith. Amalgamation of Ahadith coupled with lack of deliberation has made the matter obscure to them. Otherwise, the Mahdias of the fourteenth century, who is also called Sultanul Mashriq [The Monarch of the East], has been distinctly mentioned in Ahadith. His Jihad is spiritual and he has been sent as ‘Isa (Jesus) because of the domination of Dajjaliyyat. (The Heavenly Sign, p. 36)

#DailyHadith: It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: "in the year of Tabuk, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) addressed the people, while leaning against his mount. He said: 'Shall I not tell you of the best of the people and the worst of the people? Among the best of the people is a man who strives in the cause of Allah on the back of his horse, or on the back of his camel, or on his own two feet, until death comes to him. And among the worst of the people, is an immoral man (Fajir) who reads the Book of Allah but he does not refrain from doing anything bad because of it.'" (Nasai)

#SpiritualTreasures: "Now after the death of brother Maulawi ‘Abdul Karim Sahib, may Allah have mercy on his soul, and now that about my own death, too, I have received repeated revelations, I thought it proper that arrangements of a graveyard should be made expeditiously. I have, therefore, proposed that a piece of land out of my own property which is adjacent to our orchard and the price of which is no less than a thousand rupees, be used for this purpose. And I pray that God may bless it and that He may make this very piece of land the Bahishti Maqbarah; and make it the resting place of such members of the Jama‘at as are pure of heart and who have in reality given precedence to Faith over the world and who have renounced the love of the world and have submitted themselves to God and have brought about in themselves a holy change and, like the companions of the Holy Prophetsa, have set the example of Faithfulness and Truthfulness, Amin, O Lord of the world." (The Will, p. 22)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) sent Mu`adh to Yemen and said, "Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah." (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: Reflection upon the heavens, earth, sun, moon, and on human nature itself would reveal that the beginning of time was the age of the manifestation of pure divine power, in which the usual [physical] means were not involved at all. Whatever God created in that age was done with such a magnificent omnipotence that it astonishes the human mind. Observe the celestial bodies—the earth, the heavens, the sun, the moon, etc.—how this immense task was accomplished without resorting to any means, builders, or labourers, solely by His will and a single command. (BarĀhĪn-e-aHmadiyya — Part Four, p. 16-17)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Anas: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) went to answer the call of nature, he used to say, "Allah-umma inni a`udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba'ith i.e. O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things. (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: If someone questions the possibility of reaching reconciliation while religious differences are playing such a negative role, throwing hearts further apart, then my answer would be to say that difference in matters of religion can only play a negative role when it disregards the dictates of justice, wisdom and the well-tested human values. It is to avoid this danger that man has been fully fortified with a clear sense of judgement and common sense. He should thus always carve a path for himself which never deviates from the path of justice and good sense. (A Message of Peace, p. 12)

#DailyHadith: Abu Musa Ash'ari reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him: Should I not direct you to the words from the treasures of Paradise, or he said: Like a treasure from the treasures of Paradise? I said: Of course, do that. Thereupon he said:" There is no might and no power but that of Allah." (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: He [Allah] reveals Himself through His Powers, His Omnipotence and His Signs. We can attain Him only through Him. He always reveals His Being to the righteous and shows them His Omnipotence—and this is the only means by which He is recognized and the path He favours is recognized. (The Will, p. 14)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There was no prophet among the prophets but was given miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but what I was given was the Divine Inspiration which Allah revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other prophet on the Day of Resurrection." (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: The various castes are no cause of honour. God Almighty has only made these castes a means of recognition. In these days, even after four generations, it becomes difficult to confirm a person’s lineage. It does not behove a righteous person to fall into disputes over caste. Allah the Exalted has decreed that castes are no means of preference in His estimation. True honour and greatness comes from righteousness alone. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 36)

#DailyHadith: Umm Salama (ra) narrated that the Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "He who drank in vessels of gold or silver he in fact drank down in his belly the fire of Hell." (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: Can there be a better way to silencing a person who denies the existence of Prophetic revelation and considers it to be a mere conjecture, than to show him an example of it? Do tell me, is it good news or an evil tiding that Islam was the recipient of Divine blessings only for a few years and was then forsaken by God!? Are these the signs of a true religion? (Blessings of Prayer, p. 38-39)

#DailyHadith: Abu Huraira (ra) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Don't nurse grudge and do not inflate prices for one another and don't nurse aversion or enmity and don't enter into a transaction when the others have entered into that transaction and be as fellow-brothers and servants of Allah. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim." (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad (ra) asked his mother if Promised Messiah (as) used to keep optional fasts towards the end of his life. Hazrat Amma Jan (ra) said that he used to keep optional fasts in old age and he was very particular about the six fasts of Shawal (except last 2-3 years) (Fiqhul Masih, p. 215)

#DailyHadith: Abdullah b. 'Umar commanded a person that as he went to bed, he should say: "O Allah, Thou created my being and it is for Thee to take it to its ultimate goal. And its death and life is due to Thee, and if Thou givest it life, safeguard it; and if Thou bringst death, grant it pardon. O Allah, I beg of Thee safety." A person said to him: Did you hear it from Umar? Thereupon he said: (I have heard from one) who is better than Umar, viz. from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Ibn Nafi, reported this on the authority of Abdullah b. Harith but he did not make mention of this" that he heard it himself". (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: The Holy Quran has drawn attention to three types of knowledge: knowledge by way of certainty of inference, knowledge by way of certainty of sight, and knowledge by way of certainty of experience. (The Philsophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 182)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I saw Moses, Jesus and Abraham (on the night of my Ascension to the heavens). Jesus was of red complexion, curly hair and a broad chest. Moses was of brown complexion, straight hair and tall stature as if he was from the people of Az-Zutt." (Bukhari)
