#SpiritualTreasures: This verse [Quran, 42:41] shows that the Quran does not teach non-resistance to evil on all occasions, or that mischief makers and wrongdoers should never be punished. Its teaching is that one must consider whether the occasion calls for forgiveness or punishment, and to adopt the course which would be best in the interests both of the offender and the public. (The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 60)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Ibn Abbas (ra) that when the verse (3:160) وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ was revealed the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Though Allah and His Prophet stand in no need of consulting other people, Allah has made consultation a source of blessing for my ummah. Therefore, any Muslim who adopts path of consultation shall not be deprived of true light and consultation. But he who avoids it shall not escape humiliation" (Shu'b-u-Iman Vol 6)
#SpiritualTreasures: One of the many beauties of the Holy Quran, for instance, is that it is a compendium of all religious verities. There is not a single religious verity, relating to truth and wisdom, which is not to be found in the Holy Quran. But can anyone show us another book which possesses this quality? (Three Questions by a Christian and their Answers, p. 35)
#DailyHadith: Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The world is a prison for the believer and Paradise for the disbeliever." (Tirmidhi)
#SpiritualTreasures: The fact of the matter is that the very nature of man possesses the imprint of: اَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوْابَلٰ, Allah says, ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They say, ‘Yea, we do bear witness’ (al-A’raf, 7:173). The instinctive nature of man and all the elements of the universe have no relation whatsoever to the concept of Trinity. Even if one observes a droplet of water, it emerges round in shape and does not fall in the form of a triangle. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 62)
#DailyHadith: Qatada reported: I asked Anas b. Malik: How was the hair of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)? Thereupon he said: His hair was neither very curly nor very straight, and they hung over his shoulders and earlobes. (Muslim)
#SpiritualTreasures: Remember, without certainty you cannot emerge from a life of darkness, nor can you find the Holy Spirit. Blessed are those who possess certainty for it is they who will come to see God. Blessed are those who rid themselves of doubt and uncertainty for it is they who shall be delivered of sin. Blessed shall you be when the treasure of certainty is bestowed upon you, for only then will your sin be effaced. (Noah's Ark, p. 108)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When the people of Ash`ari tribe ran short of food during the holy battles, or the food of their families in Medina ran short, they would collect all their remaining food in one sheet and then distribute it among themselves equally by measuring it with a bowl. So, these people are from me, and I am from them." (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: It has always been the case with the prophets that despite the fact that they are given prophecies and they have very strong faith in the promises given by God, they do not abandon praying to Him (for their success). They do so because they believe that God has the power to do whatever He likes and none can grasp His ways and it is disrespect that one should not pray to Him. History tells us that when the battle of Badr was going on and the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) was busy in praying to God (while he had already been guaranteed victory) ... one should, therefore, in no case, abandon praying to God. (So Said The Promised Messiah, p. 148)
#DailyHadith: Ibn Umar said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) prohibited Shighar which means that a man gives his daughter in marriage on the condition that the other gives his daughter to him in marriage with- out any dower being paid by either. (Muslim)
#SpiritualTreasures: Every dot of the Holy Quran is affirmed by tradition. Surah Fatiha is affirmed through a tremendous traditional process. It is recited every day, in every raka'a of every Prayer (Salat). (Commentary on The Holy Quran Vol. 1 Surah Fatihah, p. 17)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (ra) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Noah will be brought (before Allah) on the Day of Resurrection, and will be asked, 'Did you convey the message of Allah?" He will reply, 'Yes, O Lord.' And then Noah's nation will be asked, 'Did he (Noah) convey Allah's message to you?' They will reply, 'No warner came to us.' Then Noah will be asked, 'Who are your witnesses?' He will reply. '(My witnesses are) Muhammad (ﷺ) and his followers.' Thereupon you (Muslims) will be brought and you will bear witness." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) recited: '(ﷺ)And thus have We made you an exalted nation, that you may be guardians over men, and the Messenger of God may be a guardian over you.' (2.144) (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: The gracious Lord has, by virtue of my obedience to and love of His Honoured Prophet and my faithful following of His Word, especially favoured me with His revelation and honoured me with bestow ing upon me spiritual knowledge and understanding and has disclosed to me many secrets filling the heart of this insignif icant servant with an abundance of spiritual treasures. It has been made clear to me that all this distinction and beneficence and benevolence and care and help and communion are because of obedience to and love of the Seal of the Prophets, peace and blessings of Allah be on him (Commentary on The Holy Quran Vol. 1 Surah Fatihah, p. 20)
#DailyHadith: Anas b. Malik reported "I took 'Abdullah b. Abi Talha Ansari to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) at the time of his birth. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was at that time wearing a woollen cloak and besmearing the camels with tar. He said: Have you got with you the dates? I said: Yes. He took hold of the dates and put them in his mouth and softened them, then opened the mouth of the infant and put that in it and the child began to lick it." (Muslim)
#SpiritualTreasures: The human foetus shows signs of life almost four months and ten days after its conception, that is, at the intermedial stage of its existence in the womb. The same laws of nature that cause the foetus to evolve from the vegetative to the animal state are also operative in spiritual birth. In other words, just as a foetus spends half the span of its existence in the privacy of the womb and then starts showing signs of animation and life, the same condition obtains in the birth of spiritual life as well. (The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 12A)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab: Abu Huraira said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "I have been sent with 'Jawami-al-Kalim ' (the shortest expression with the widest meaning) and have been made victorious with awe (cast in my enemy's hearts), and while I was sleeping, I saw that the keys of the treasures of the world were placed in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) has gone, and you people are utilizing those treasures, or digging those treasures out." or said a similar sentence. (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: On once occasion, an English speaking student came to see me and in his very presence the following was revealed: This is My enemy. Though I perceived that this revelation pertained to him, I asked him its meaning. Later on, he proved to be such a person and it was confirmed that he was a prey to many kinds of ills. (BarĀhĪn-e-aHmadiyya - Part Four, p. 364)
#DailyHadith: Anas (ra) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When Allah wants good for his slave, He hastens his punishment in the world. And when He wants bad for His slave, He withholds his sins from him until he appears before Him on the Day of Judgement." (Tirmidhi)
#SpiritualTreasures: Holy is Allah! the Gracious and Beneficent, who gave us poor mortals, without any merit of our own, all that we needed. For our physical sustenance, He appointed the sun, the moon, the clouds and the winds. And to satisfy our spiritual needs, He sent down the Torah, the Gospels, the Quran and all other heavenly Books at their appropriate times. Countless thanks be to You, O Allah, for guiding us to the path that leads to You, and for saving us from errors of thought and reason by sending down Your Holy Books. (Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya—Parts I & II, p. 25)
#DailyHadith: It was narrated that Jabir said the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There is nothing between a person and disbelief except abandoning Salah.' (Nasai)
