#MawlidReminders LAST PART- 7️⃣ 🚫 DANGERS OF BID‘AH 🚫 🎓Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen رحمه الله : ▶️BID’AH (Innovation) indicates evil dangers: 🔰Firstly: It indicates a belying of the saying of Allaah, Exalted is He:“This day I have perfected your religion for you.” (Al-Maa’idah 5:3) Because when somebody comes with an innovation & considers it as a form of religion; its implication is that the religion is not perfect. 🔰Secondly: It indicates a defamation of the Sharee’ah, & that it is imperfect, so this innovator is the one who makes it perfect with his act of innovation. 🔰Thirdly: It indicates a defamation of the Muslims, who do not practice this innovation; so, those people who lived before this innovation; their religion is incomplete – this is a grave danger! 🔰Fourthly: Among the implications of this innovation is that what prevails is that whoever is occupied with an innovation, he would be distracted from a Sunnaah, as some of the Salaf said: “People will not innovate an innovation, except that they will demolish its like from the Sunnaah.” 🔰Fifthly: These innovations lead to separations in the Ummaah, because these innovators believe that they are the upholders of the truth, and that the others are misguided! And people of the truth say: “You are the ones upon misguidance.” So, their hearts separate. ❗️All of these grave evils result from an innovation because it is an innovation, in addition to the fact that this innovation is accompanied by foolishness in one’s reason, and an imbalance in religion. 📚Sharh al-‘Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah, pp. 450-451

#MawlidReminders PART 6️⃣ 📛BID'AH is but the TRIBULATIONS of the end of time.📛 🎓Shaykh Badr Ibn Alee Al-Utaybee حفظه الله: The occurrences which take place in these days are from the trials and tribulations of the end times. 🔹The noble companion Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood (radhiAllaahu anhu) said: "How will you be when the Fitnah envelopes you? The young will grow up knowing the Fitnah and the elderly catch it and grow older during it. A practice will be established and many people will take to it. If you try to change it, people will say: “You have changed the Sunnah." It was said: When will this be O Abu AbdurRahman? He replied: When your recitors are many yet scholars of understanding are few; when wealth is abundant yet trust is rare; When people seek worldly gains through the actions of the Aakhirah; and when people seek religious knowledge but not for the religion.” ❗️This is something which is now occurring – Allaah is the one from whom help is sought. Bid’ah (innovations) are becoming widespread amongst people, an elderly person becomes old upon them, whilst young people are cultivated upon them. And if you forbid people from the innovations, and try to change them, they will say: ‘you are changing the Sunnah.’ ❗️We are in a time, in which the people of understanding are few, yet those who claim knowledge are many. A time in which money and wealth is in abundance, yet trust is rare. People are seeking worldly benefits by using the religion. #MawlidReminders PART 5️⃣ ❓How should we deal with those who commit Bid’ah? 🎓Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “In both cases, we have to call these people – who claim to be Muslim but who commit acts of Bid’ah which may constitute kufr or may be less than that – to the truth, by explaining the truth without being hostile or condemning what they are doing. But once we know that they are too arrogant to accept the truth – for Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning), ‘And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allaah, lest they insult Allaah wrongfully without knowledge.’ [al-An’aam 6:108]. 📌If we find out that they are stubborn and arrogant, then we should point out their falsehood, because then pointing out their falsehood becomes an obligation upon us. ❗️With regard to boycotting them, that depends upon the bid’ah. If it is a bid’ah which constitutes kufr, then it is obligatory to boycott the person who does it. If it is of a lesser degree than that, then it is essential to examine the situation further. If something may be achieved by boycotting the person, then we do it; if no purpose will be served by it, or if it will only make him more disobedient and arrogant, then we should avoid doing that, because whatever serves no purpose, it is better not to do it. ❗️And also in principle it is haraam to boycott a believer, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘It is not permissible for a man to forsake [not speak to] his brother for more than three [days].’” 📚 Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, vol. 2, p. 293. ©️ t.me/treasuresofknowledge 📲Share the Khayr.

#MawlidReminders PART 4️⃣ ❓DOES CELEBRATING MAWLID BRING ABOUT THE UNIFICATION OF HEARTS❓ ➡️A question to Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله: “Noble Shaykh, may Allāh grant you goodness. In previous encounters we learnt about innovation and its ruling, (however) we find some people in (their) celebrations of the birth of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) saying: ‘These celebrations bring about the unification of the hearts of the Muslims after the Ummah has been divided.’ So what do you have to say to these (individuals)?” 🎓The Shaykh رحمه الله responded by saying: 📌“We say to these (individuals) who are saying that celebrating the birth (of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) brings about the unification of the hearts: 🔰Firstly, we do not accept that since these (individuals) who are gathering (in such celebrations) are departing with nothing (i.e. they are departing without any reward from Allāh), and it is not possible for the hearts to be united upon an innovation under any circumstance. 🔰Secondly, indeed this is innovating something that Allāh has not legislated; but verily, Allāh (تعالى) made another gathering for the unification of the hearts. Every day we meet in a house from the houses of Allāh. How many times? Five times (and therefore) in it (i.e. in the meeting for the five daily prayers) is (sufficiency) in achieving the unification of the hearts. #MawlidReminders PART 3⃣ ❌The Salaf as-Saliheen DID NOT Celebrate Mawlid.❌ ❗️Many of our brothers and sisters use an excerpt OUT OF CONTEXT from a Fatwa by Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah Rahimahullaah to prove that he rahimahullaah supported Mawlid. We specifically chose Ibn Taymeeyah Rahimahullaah's CLEAR CUT view about Mawlid in today's post. Alhamdulillaah. 🎓Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah -Rahimullaah- said regarding the Mawlid of the Prophet -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- : 🔴‘The Salaf as-Salih did not do this even though they could have done it and there was no prevention in doing so. When a rock stands in its way, it simply flows around it. It is not affected by appearances. Whether you serve it in cups of gold or in cups made of clay, *it does not change*.

#MawlidReminders PART 2⃣ ❓Is celebrating Mawlid Obligatory or Recommended? 🎓The ‘Allaama Shaykh Taj-Uddeen Faakihanee who died in the year (734 A.H.) said in his unique booklet about this subject entitled: ‘al-Mawrid fee Amal al-Mawlid’ and this is its wording and text: ▶️Amma Ba’d: Indeed a question has been repeated from a group of blessed people about a gathering which some of the people organize in the month of Rabi al-Awwal and they call it ‘al-Mawlid’: 🔻Does it have an origin in the Shar'iah? 🔻Or is it a Bida’ and innovation in the Deen? They wanted the answer to this to be clear and to clarify it specifically. ➡️So I say – and success is with Allaah –: I do not know of an origin for this Mawlid neither in the Book of Allaah nor in the Sunnah, nor was it narrated that any of the scholars of the Ummah performed it; those scholars who are an example for the Deen, holding on to the Athaar of the predecessors. ❗️Rather, Mawlid is a Bid'ah, it was innovated by magicians; those parasites who followed their desires and became rich by it. 📌The evidence for this is that if we applied the five types of Shar'iah rulings to it we would say: It is either obligatory (Waajib), recommended (Mandoob), permissible (Mubaah), disliked (Makrooh) or prohibited (Muharam)!! 🔰By consensus it is neither obligatory nor recommended; because the reality of a recommended act is: an act which is sanctioned by the Shar'iah without any disapproval for the one who leaves it. The Shar'iah did not give permission for the Mawlid and the Companions did not do it, neither the Tabieen nor the religious scholars – as far as I know. ✨بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ✨ #MawlidReminders PART 1⃣ ➡️ The History of Mawlid 🔰The celebration of Mawlid occurred in the era of Banu Ubayd from the Shiites who are Rafidhis. They are called Fâtimis. These people innovated many celebrations for the Prophet صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم, his Family and for others among pious people. They did even innovate celebrations for others who are in error among superstitious people and Qubûris (worshippers of tombs); so they celebrate the New Year and copy the Jews, celebrate the Prophet’s birthday and copy the Christians, celebrate the day of Ashûra', the birthday of Ali Ibn Abi Talîb رضي الله عنه, Al-Hassan and Al-Hussayn رضي الله عنهما, Fâtima رضي الله عنها and the caliph at the time and many others. 🔰The first one who innovated the celebration of Mawlid was Al-Muiz Li-Dînillâh in 362H in Cairo. The celebration continued till it was suppressed by Al-Afdal Abu Al-Qâssim, the Emir of the armies Ibn Badr Al-Jamâli and the Minister of the Caliph Al-Musta ̀li Billâh in 490H. He came after them `Umar Ibn Muhammad Al-Mulla Al-Irbiliy, one of the famous Sufis. He was, in fact, the first one to revive the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday heresy in Al-Mawsil. Too much socializing - then think about the Social Media Platforms today! Al-Khattabi (d. 388 AH) warned against excessive, compulsive socializing — mixing with people beyond genuine need, driven by appetite rather than purpose — and comparing it to overeating, which breeds sickness. ✍🏻 He (رحمه الله) said: "Whoever becomes excessively involved in keeping company with people and expanding his circle of acquaintances, driven by the passions of the soul, habitual customs, and abandoning moderation in this regard—rather than limiting such interaction to what necessity requires—is bound to find that it is not praised in the end, and will find its evil consequences. His situation in this respect is like that of someone who eats when he is not hungry, and consumes more than he needs. Before long, this will cause him to fall into debilitating diseases and destructive illnesses. One who knows is not like one who is ignorant, and one who has experienced and tested is not like one one who plunges in recklessly and takes chances!” 📕 Al-ʿUzlah (Seclusion), by al-Khaṭṭābī, p. 59

The Blessing of Benefiting Others ʿAbdullaah ibn ʿUmar رضي الله عنهما: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: “Indeed, Allaah has people whom He has specially chosen for His blessings for the benefit of His servants. He keeps them in possession of those blessings so long as they give them to others. But when they withhold them, He takes them away from them and transfers them to others.” Ḥasan li-ghayrihi [hasan due to supporting chains]. In Ṣaḥīḥ at-Targhīb (6517). عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: إِنَّ لِلَّهِ أَقْوَامًا اخْتَصَّهُمْ بِالنِّعَمِ لِمَنَافِعِ الْعِبَادِ، يُقِرُّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا بَذَلُوهَا، فَإِذَا مَنَعُوهَا نَزَعَهَا مِنْهُمْ، فَحَوَّلَهَا إِلَى غَيْرِهِمْ. حسن لغيره ‹صحيح الترغيب› (6517) Al-Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said: “Do you not know that the people’s need of you is a blessing from Allaah upon you? So beware of becoming weary and annoyed by people’s needs, lest the blessings become calamities.” Fayḍ al-Qadīr (5/456).

Assalāmu ʿAlaikum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh, dear sisters. 🤍🌷 🌸 Welcome to Week 6 of Homes of Barakah Alḥamdulillāh, by the permission of Allah, we have entered Week 2 of our Salah-Centered Homes theme. Last week, we reflected on creating a special place for Salah within our homes. This week, we take another important step: 🌷 Making Salah a Priority as a Family A Muslim home is not defined by its size, furniture or decoration. Rather, its beauty lies in the remembrance of Allah and in the worship established within it. When Salah becomes a true priority in our homes, it begins to shape the rhythm of our entire day. Instead of trying to “fit Salah in” between everything else, we begin arranging our lives around Salah. Allah ﷻ says: “And enjoin prayer upon your family and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you. And the good end is for righteousness.” (Sūrah Ṭā Hā 20:132) What a beautiful responsibility Allah ﷻ has placed upon us—to encourage our families towards Salah and remain patient and consistent in doing so. The Prophet ﷺ also said: “Command your children to pray when they are seven years old…” (Sunan Abī Dāwūd 495; authenticated by Shaykh al-Albānī رحمه الله) This reminds us that a Salah-centred family is built intentionally and gradually. We don’t wait until children are older to introduce them to prayer. We nurture love for Salah through our own example, gentle reminders and a home environment where prayer is valued. And the importance of Salah is immense. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The first deed for which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his prayer…” (Sunan al-Tirmidhī 413; authenticated by Shaykh al-Albānī رحمه الله) If Salah is among the first matters about which we will be questioned, then how much more should we strive to protect it within our homes? 🌸 So, what will we work on together this week? 📖 UNDERSTAND Why making Salah a priority at home brings goodness and barakah into our lives. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 IMPLEMENT Simple, practical ways to create a Salah-focused environment for ourselves and our families. 🕰️ ORGANISE Learning to arrange our routines around the prayer times rather than trying to squeeze Salah into whatever time is left. 🤍 INSPIRE Encouraging ourselves and our families towards Salah through our own example, gentle reminders and love for the prayer. 🌿 Your little practice for this week Choose one small change that can help make Salah more central to your household. Perhaps you could: • Pause household activities when the adhān is called. • Prepare for Salah a little earlier rather than waiting until the last moment. • Arrange meals or outings around prayer times. • Gently remind your family when it is time for Salah. • Make your own Salah more visible to your children so they grow up seeing prayer as a natural part of life. You don’t need to transform your entire household overnight. Choose one small step. Do it consistently. Let it become a habit. 🌱 And remember, dear sisters, this journey is not about creating a “perfect” Muslim home. It is about slowly creating a home where Allah is remembered, Salah is protected, and worship becomes part of the rhythm of everyday life. So let us continue this journey together—one week, one habit and one small step at a time. 🤍 May Allah ﷻ make Salah beloved to our hearts, establish us and our families firmly upon it, and make our homes places where Salah is established, protected and loved. Evil Eye Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “It is an arrow, shot by the one who is jealous or (or is known) for giving evil-eye towards the one who is envied – hitting (the target) sometimes and missing it sometimes. So if it is encountered while uncovered and without protection, then the person is affected by it. But no doubt, if it is encountered while taking precaution, then it will not affect him; rather it may happen that this arrow (evil-eye) is returned back to the owner himself (i.e. the owner is affected by his own evil-eye).” [Zaad al-Ma`aad | 4/154]

Path of Knowledge, Justice, Guidance and Protection Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said : "Adhering to the Sunnah protects a person from the evil of his own soul and from Satan without resorting to innovated methods. Those who follow such innovations will inevitably fall into burdens and shackles. Even if they have an interpretation they believe excuses them, they will still inevitably end up following their desires. For this reason, the people of innovation are called the people of desires (Ahl al-Ahwāʾ). The path of the Sunnah is one of knowledge, justice, and guidance, whereas innovation is marked by ignorance and injustice, and it involves following conjecture and the desires of the soul." 📚Majmūʿ al-Fatāwā (10/568) See also: Minhāj as-Sunnah (1/20) and Jāmiʿ al-Masāʾil (5/390).

From the Means of entering Paradise and causes of entering Hell-Fire Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Bāz ( رحمه الله) said:"Maintaining the ties of kinship is among the causes of entering Paradise. Severing the ties of kinship is among the destructive sins, one of the major sins, and one of the causes of entering the Fire. The arḥām (relatives whose ties must be maintained) are one's blood relatives. The closest of them are: Fathers, mothers, grandfathers, and grandmothers. Then brothers and sisters. Then paternal uncles and aunts, and maternal uncles and aunts, followed by their children, in that order. Maintaining ties of kinship may be done through charity, giving gifts, kind speech, visiting, and similar acts that are regarded as maintaining ties and showing kindness." 📚 Sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, (10/148)
