Halloween The Festival Of Disbelievers Not Muslims Allāh says in Qur’ān: والذين لا يشهدون الزور “And those who do not witness falsehood..” • [al-Qur’ān 25:72] Mujāhid and other than him from the Salaf said that falsehood (Zoor) refers to the festivals of disbelievers. قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever imitates a nation then he is from amongst them.” ● [رواه أبو داود] قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه : اجتنبوا أعداء الله في عيدهم. ‘Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه said: “Avoid the enemies of Allāh during their festivals.” and in one narration with addition “.. for the Wrath of Allāh descends upon them during it.” ● [تاريخ الكبير للبخاري] قال عبدالله بن عمرو رضي الله عنه : من مر ببلاد الاعاجم فصنع نيروزهم و مهرجانهم و تشبه بهم حتى يموت و هو كذلك حشر معهم يوم القيامة. ‘Abdullāh b. ‘Amr رضي الله عنه said: “Whoever settles in the land of the non-Arabs and celebrates their new year and festival and imitates them until he dies while he is in that state, will be gathered with them on the Day of Resurrection.” ● [أخرجه البيهقي في الكبرى] Ibn Taymīyyāh said: “Muslims should not celebrate any festival of the disbelievers.” ‎● [مختصر اقتضها أسصراط المستقيم ١٧-١٨]

HOW TO VERIFY A SUITOR #Forwarded Understand first that no method is 100% effective but then the idea is to minimize risk enough to go in, not be 100%, so that's fine. In the wake of events today, it's become extra important to do checks on suitors before committing to them. Many will come with pretence and scripted performances but you can avoid many. Define what you desire: This alone makes your decisions easier. If you don't define what you desire, it becomes easier for you to be confused by a pretentious suitor. Pray: This is straightforward. You are running checks because it's the sensible thing to do but you will always need prayers too. Interact and engage: No matter how smooth a person is, there'd always be a lot that can be figured out from engaging them. Even the best actors make slips. Use the internet: You'd be shocked what you find with a simple name search. Beyond that, understand that many have fake social media profiles however, there's always a link to other profiles they own. In comments, pictures, posts, friends etc, there's enough to learn about who a person is today but importantly, who they were. Engage a PI if needed: You are about to commit, at this point let logic drive you not emotions. Anybody can lie or pretend and you have not developed enough trust yet. A private investigator is even more critical if you have met over matchmaking sites or live in separate locations. Get premarital counseling: It's one thing to have data, it's another thing to interpret it. This you can be taught over your premarital counseling program, identifying unique red flags, breaking points and knowing how to deal with them. Make unannounced physical visits: Limit this to just neighborhood and public places. Don't go into a person's private residence unaccompanied! A lot is often revealed here including work and role claims, status, public perception etc. Run checks on family background: Make such checks independent of what the suitor claims. Run medical checks from your own verified institution: Let this be thorough and wide including performance, fertility, blood and other checks. Don't delay but don't rush: People best hide things when they rush you. Run checks on claimed friends and associates: Birds of the same feather often flock together and while suitors may hide, friends and associates are more likely to make slips and reveal the hidden.

Man Was Created From Coccyx (Tailbone) قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : كل ابن آدم تأكل الأرض إلا عجب الذنب ، منه خلق وفيه يركب. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “All of the son of Ādam is eaten by earth (after death) except for the tail-bone, from it he was created and on it (he) will be reconstructed (on the Day of Judgement).” ● [سنن أبي داود ٤٧٤٣ ، صححه الألباني]

Think!

From the punishments of sins: That Allah takes away Tawfeeq from you..! 1. So you stay up late with no benefit 2. And sleep upon a sin 3. And miss the Fajr prayer 4. And wake up late Then you start your day heavy, full of problems. Sins are like chains around the neck.

/Piety/ Once Imām Bukhāri had some merchandise to sell and some businessmen requested to buy it for five thousand Dirhams, so al-Bukhāri said: "Leave it tonight." The next day some other businessmen came and requested to buy it for ten thousand, so al-Bukhāri said to them: "Indeed I had made the intention to sell it to those who came last night and I do not love to change intention." ● {تاريخ بغداد حجم ٢، صحفة ١١}

Love of Knowledge & Love of the World. ‏حُبّ العِلْم، وطلبه أصل كُلّ طاعة Love of knowledge and seeking it is the foundation of every act of obedience. ‏وحُبّ الدُّنْيا والمال، وطلبه أصل كُلّ سيِّئة And love of the world and wealth, and seeking it, is the foundation of every sin. ‏مفتاح دار السعادة (٤١٩/١)

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) said: Being quick to anger is a characteristic of fools, just as avoiding it is a characteristic of the wise, and anger is the seed of regret. [The Garden of the Wise and the Meadows of the Virtuous, 139, Ibn Hibbaan (rahimahullah)]
