Your Sins Affect The Ummah At Large ‎ Sins and transgressions not only cause the Muslims to become weak, but they also cause the Muslims to be overpowered by their enemies. ‎[Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah), al-Isteqamah, 1/466]

🌙THE MONTH OF AL-MUHARRAM🌙 PART 5️⃣ 🌟The best way to fast the day of Aashoora🌟 ❓Question: May Allah grant you good Noble Shaykh. There has occurred some doubt and disturbance amongst the people concerning affirming the day of Aashoora. The question: Is there any blame upon the person who fast the ninth, the tenth, and the eleventh day of Aashoora in order to ensure he catches the day of Aashoora; then in addition to this, does he obtain the virtue of fasting three days from every month? 🎓Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzan حفظه الله: ➡️Al Imaam Ibn Al Qayyim رحمه الله —in Zaadil Ma’aad when speaking about the fast of Aashoora— he said this fasting is of three types. 1️⃣The first type: This is for him to fast the day of Aashoora, the day before it and the day after it; three days. And he said this is most complete. This is the best method; for the person to fast the day of Aashoora, the day before it and the day after. Thus this will be a total of three days. 2️⃣The second type: For the person to fast the day of Aashoora and the day before it or the day after it; he fasting two days. 3️⃣The third type: For the person to only fast the day of Aashoora, just one day. 📌The best way is for him to fast three days, the second best method is to fast two days, and if he fast only one day, the day of Aashoora, this is permissible. This is permissible but it is in contrast to what the Prophet order, when he commanded us to fast the day before it or the day after it. But it is permissible, and he will receive the reward for what he has fasted. But fasting these days for Aashoora does not take the place for fasting three days from the month because fasting three days from every month is something separate. And the best days to fast the three days are on the 13th, 14th and 15th; the ‘white days’. These are the best days to fast the three days. But if he fast the three days in the beginning of the month, the middle of the month or the end of the month, there is no problem with this. And fasting three days from every month is separate from the fast of Aashoora. This is the Sunnah and this is also the Sunnah. And likewise this is separate from fasting every Monday and Thursday during the week. Every Sunnah has its place. 🌐http:/mtws.posthaven.com/the-best-way-to-fast-the-day-of-aashoora-explained-by-shaykh-fawzan 🕌For more Authentic Islamic Reminders join us at our Official Channels إن شاء الله 🔹Telegram: t.me/treasuresofknowledge 🔹WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaDQ7BPGpLHGxDrd3X1Y 📲 Share the Khayr.

🌙THE MONTH OF AL-MUHARRAM🌙 PART 4️⃣ ✨ FASTING ON THE DAY OF ASHOORAH- 2 ✨ Fasting on the Day of Ashoorah is a Sunnah Mu-akkadah [i.e. a practice the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) performed continuously).  Therefore, the Muslim fasts on the 9th of Muharram and the 10th of Muharram, and this is a Sunnah that has continued—all praise is due to Allaah—and fasting on this day is emphasized, whilst seeking Allaah’s reward and in order to thank Him. Fasting the day of ‘Ashoorah’ does expiate for the past year, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Fasting the day of ‘Arafah I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year before it and the year after it, and fasting the day of ‘Ashoorah’ I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year that came before it.” Narrated by Muslim, 1162. 📌Please note, Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: The expiation of purification, prayer, and fasting Ramadaan, ‘Arafah and ‘Ashoora’ applies to minor sins only.(Al-Fataawa al-Kubra, part 5.) 📎Source: http://alfawzan.af.org.sa/node/15019 |Translation : The Salafi Centre of Manchester. 🕌For more Authentic Islamic Reminders join us at our Official Channels إن شاء الله 🔹Telegram: t.me/treasuresofknowledge 🔹WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaDQ7BPGpLHGxDrd3X1Y 📲 Share the Khayr.

*🌙THE MONTH OF AL-MUHARRAM🌙* *PART 3️⃣* *✨ FASTING ON THE DAY OF ASHOORAH-1 ✨* When the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) arrived in Madeenah, he found the Jews fasting on this day of Ashoorah, so he said to them: *‘’What is this fasting of yours?’’* They said: *‘’It was the day Allaah gave victory to Moosa and his people and humiliated pharaoh and his people. Indeed, Moosaa fasted on this Day, so we also fast. So the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: We have more right to (follow) Moosaa than you.’’* The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) continuously fasted this day and commanded the companions to fast as well. *However, the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) want us to oppose the Jews, so he commanded us to fast a day before Ashoorah (i.e. the 9th of Muharram) before fasting on the 10th (i.e. Day of Ashoorah); and it is stated in another narration: ‘’A day after it (i.e. a day after Ashoorah); but fasting on the 9th day of Muharram before fasting the 10th of Al-Muharram (i.e. the day of Ashoorah) is more established.* *So we fast on the day of Ashoorah (i.e. the 10th of Muharram) in order to follow the example of Allaah’s Prophet Moosaa (alayhis-salaam), and it was the day in which Allaah gave victory to the Muslims (of Bani Israaeel).* It is victory for the Muslims until the Day of Judgement and a blessing from Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic) for which He is thanked through the act of fasting. _To be continued إن شاءالله with more details of the fasting of the day of Aashoora. ✨_ 📎Source: http://alfawzan.af.org.sa/node/15019 | Translation : The Salafi Centre of Manchester.

10 basic manners you should teach your kids before age 10: (1) Always say “Bismillah” before doing anything. (2) When you knock on the door, wait for a response before you open the door. (3) When asking for something, always say “please”. (4) Don’t jump a queue. Be patient and take turns. (5) Don’t litter the floor, the streets, or anywhere. Make sure you neatly trash your waste, even if it is a bottle or sachet of water. (6) When a conversation doesn’t involve you, don’t interrupt except your opinion is asked. (7) Apologize whenever you’re wrong. (8) Don’t engage in foul language, body shaming, or name-calling. (9) When someone helps you with something or gives you something, always—and don’t forget to—say “thank you”. (10) Say “yes, please”, or “no, thank you”. Don’t say “yep”, “nope”, or nod and gesture without fully responding to people.

There is a beautiful quote I read today: "Don't let perfect be the enemy of good." Waiting for the ideal circumstances before starting a task will prevent you from ever beginning. We often believe that we require X amount of time, in an ideal atmosphere, under perfect conditions, in the perfect mood, and with the perfect drink to begin reading the Quran. Not realizing that it is possible to read the Quran, from your phone, for even a minute, in the busy streets, while waiting for the bus or for someone to arrive. It's alright to start for a few minutes, stop, and continue later. Every Harf is still 10 hasanaat. Sometimes we want to start a project or business, but we want everything to be perfect before we start. Perfection will never come. You only "perfect" your craft through trial and error. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم gave this invaluable advice when he said: فسدِّدوا وقارِبوا Aim and come close. He didn't say be perfect, because we can never be perfect. Don't let your doubts ever prevent you from chasing what will benefit you. And always seek assistance in Allah. May Allah grant us all success. ✍️ Abu Awzaa’ee Abdus-Salaam al-Mudarris وفقه الله 📍NYC 🗓 25th of Dhul Hijjah, 1447 (6/11/26ce) 🗝 Keys To Knowledge | T.me/K2KNYC https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaJYxbF3wtb9jlZwYp2M

🌙 THE MONTH OF ALLAAH - AL MUHARRAM 🌙 PART 2⃣ ✨ Virtues of the Month of Muharram ✨ 1⃣ Day of Aashoora: Amongst its greatest virtues is that the Day of Ashoorah is found within it. It is a Day in which the Prophet ﷺ selected for the performance of fasting. Likewise, Moosaa (alayhis-sallam) fasted on this day in order to thank Allaah for drowning pharaoh and his people. And after the death of Moosa (alayhis-salaam), the Jews also used to fast on this day of Ashoorah. 2⃣ The Best month for Fasting after Ramadaan: Indeed this month of Muharram has virtue; the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ‘’The best fasting after the month of Ramadhaan is the fasting in the month of Muharram.’’ (Sahih Muslim). So it is desired to increase in fasting during this month. 3⃣ First month of the Hijri calendar: It is the month that the companions—during Umar’s time (radiyallaahu-anhu)—chose to be the beginning of the Hijri calendar. 📎Source: http://alfawzan.af.org.sa/node/15019 |Translation : The Salafi Centre of Manchester.

🌙 THE MONTH OF ALLAAH - Al MUHARRAM 🌙 PART 1️⃣ ➡️ Introduction about the Month of Muharram. 🎓 Shaykh Salih al Fawzan حفظهم الله : In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy. O people! Fear Allaah (The Most High) and thank Him for the apparent and unapparent blessings He has bestowed upon you.  He has not ceased granting you occasions of good and virtue.  The month of hajj has elapsed and now you have reached the month of Al-Muharram, which Allaah has specially chosen. Firstly: Muharram is amongst those months in which Allaah made fighting forbidden.  Allaah (The Most High) said: (إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْراً فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ) ‘’ Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred.’’ [9:36] These four months are: Dhul Qida, Dhul Hijja, the Month of Muharram and Rajab—Allaah made fighting forbidden during these months in order that those who performed the Hajj and Umrah are safe in their journey to Hajj and Umrah.  However, when Islaam came—all praise is due to Allaah—safety became widespread and the disbelievers were driven away and Jihaad in the path of Allaah (The Might and Majestic) was established whenever that was possible. 📎Source: http://alfawzan.af.org.sa/node/15019. How To Raise Corrupt Kids (1) Never invite or pray in front of them. Let them grow up thinking is just for old people. (2) Hand them a screen, not your time. Let cartoons raise them. You’re too “busy,” remember? (3) Be harsh when they mess up. But never praise their efforts or model forgiveness. (4) Gossip in front of them. They’re listening. And learning. (5) Don’t teach Qur’an until you’re “finally ready.” They’ll fill that gap with TikTok reciters and Instagram imams. (6) Compare them to other kids constantly. Build jealousy in them, and kill their confidence. (7) Enroll them in a secular school, then expect Islām at home to win. You think 8 hours a day of reprogramming is a joke? (8) Keep them far from scholars and students of knowledge. (9) Never explain the “why” behind the rules and commandments. (10) Often argue with your spouse in front of them. Let them feel unsafe and confused at home. (11) Never apologize to them. Let your ego be greater than their emotional health. (12) Avoid heart-to-heart conversations. They’ll open up — but not to you. (13) Make everything about grades. Not about character, not about ʿibādah. Just grades. (14) Dress them like mini influencers. Then be shocked when they crave attention over īmān. (15) Be a Muslim only in name, not in routine. Let them see the hypocrisy early. (16) Use Islam to shame, not to shape. Make them hate what was supposed to heal. (17) Make them fear your slippers more than the fire of Jahannam. (18) Ignore their talents. Mock their abilities. Then pray they “find their path” someday. (19) Pay for toys, and never for good tarbiyah (upbringing) and materials. (20) Never change, but expect them to. Now flip it. Do the opposite. And you’ll raise righteous children (by the will of Allah). Via Bryt
