Indian Authorities Demolish 100 Year Old Mosque!
A historic mosque located within the Saharanpur Collectorate in Uttar Pradesh was demolished on Saturday, 5 September after a district court verdict upheld an eviction order declaring the mosque—built on government land—illegal.
Bajrang Dal leader Vikas Tyagi had on March 25 filed an application in the court of City Magistrate claiming that the mosque was illegal and built on government land.
The court accepted the application and termed the mosque as illegal and imposed a fine of Rs 6.41 crore on the mosque committee.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday issued a presidential pardon for Egyptian poet Abdul Rahman al-Qaradawi, days after he was sentenced to ten years in prison and fined 200,000 dirhams.
On 27th August, the Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeal had ruled to convict al-Qaradawi "for the crimes attributed to him". Emirati authorities did not clarify in their statement the nature of the crimes of which al-Qaradawi was convicted for.
Al-Qaradawi's case dates back to late 2024, when he was arrested by Lebanese authorities upon his return from Syria, with requests and arrest warrants issued against him by Egypt and the UAE.
During a visit to Damascus, al-Qaradawi had posted a video criticising authorities in Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. In January 2025, Lebanese authorities extradited him to the UAE.
Abdul Rahman is the son of the late scholar Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

A group calling itself “Black Fire” has claimed responsibility for setting fire to an Israeli-linked defence factory in Belgium on 31st August, in protest against Israel’s defence industry and its role in the genocide in Gaza.
The factory has been severely damaged, with the main building and security antenna destroyed.
BATS, based in Liège, is controlled by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and develops military and security technologies, including surveillance radars, air-defence systems and counter-drone technology.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims it has launched a “heavy” ballistic missile attack on Prince Hassan airbase and a US Marine base in Jordan in response to earlier US strikes that killed civilians.
Kuwait says its air defences are actively responding to drone attacks, while Bahrain says that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed incoming Iranian drones.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces completed a wave of strikes against Iranian targets on September 1 after what it said were attempted attacks by Iran against commercial shipping and American service members.
Iranian state media reported multiple explosions across southern locations, including Asaluyeh, Jiroft, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Konarak, Chabahar, Jask, Sirik, and Lavan.
The Iranian Red Crescent reported that the attack in Sirik hit a home during a wedding celebration, killing at least four people, including a child, and injuring more than 50.
