also to be honest most people are gonna lose trading perps, it's actually NOT for most people it takes a long time to build good habits and intuition and personally i just never try to short (99% of the time. if we get some crazy bear market scenario then we can try that but i think worst of "bear" is behind us) prefer to wait for dips in an uptrend and long

Advice for beginners in lev trading: Use heat maps to place your orders at hot liquidity levels and don't go higher than 4x leverage, this gives you 25% room to be wrong before you're totally liquidated. Don't have advice for you about stop losses other than they're good but if you're not careful they can also make you a quick loser. And patience is the most important trait in taking orders. Another good tip is physically imagine cash on a table in front of you. If you're up on a position and you'd feel shitty if that cash pile burned up right this second, you should close and take your money. I also just recently learned about FVG (fair value gaps) and it's been one of the most helpful tools for me lately. Lastly don't overload on indicators. Use 1 or 2 max so you don't get confused.
