The worse everything else in crypto looks, the easier it is to converge upon HYPE
It fits the Wall Street framework
High revenues, high buybacks, exchange business model
Don’t overcomplicate it

also to be honest most people are gonna lose trading perps, it's actually NOT for most people
it takes a long time to build good habits and intuition
and personally i just never try to short (99% of the time. if we get some crazy bear market scenario then we can try that but i think worst of "bear" is behind us)
prefer to wait for dips in an uptrend and long

Advice for beginners in lev trading:
Use heat maps to place your orders at hot liquidity levels and don't go higher than 4x leverage, this gives you 25% room to be wrong before you're totally liquidated.
Don't have advice for you about stop losses other than they're good but if you're not careful they can also make you a quick loser.
And patience is the most important trait in taking orders.
Another good tip is physically imagine cash on a table in front of you. If you're up on a position and you'd feel shitty if that cash pile burned up right this second, you should close and take your money.
I also just recently learned about FVG (fair value gaps) and it's been one of the most helpful tools for me lately.
Lastly don't overload on indicators. Use 1 or 2 max so you don't get confused.
