But when trading futures, thereβs another price you need to understand:
Mark Price.
The price you see moving on the chart is usually the Last Traded Price β the price of the most recent trade.
Mark Price is different.
Itβs designed to represent a fairer market price using broader market data rather than relying only on the latest trade on the exchange.

Cross Margin vs Isolated Margin π
Yesterday, we talked about Liquidation.
But in crypto futures, how your margin is used depends on your margin mode.
π Isolated Margin
Only the margin allocated to that position is used.

Your available margin can be shared across positions.
This can help keep a losing position open longer, but it may also expose more of your account balance.
