August Operational Report: Full Control Established Over Mashkel City , 143 Enemy Personnel Killed and Wounded, Intelligence Offices and Military Camp Destroyed, Large Quantity of Weapons Seized- Major Gwahram Baloch Throughout August 2026, the Balochistan Liberation Front carried out a series of attacks across occupied Balochistan against the occupying Pakistani army, its other key security institutions, intelligence networks, state-backed armed groups, and colonial economic and defense installations, with intensity and strategic resolve. The scope of these organized and targeted operations extended across 21 different areas, including Kharan, Tump, Surab, Khuzdar, Turbat, Heronk, Pedrak, Chagai, Mastung, Nushki, Gomazi, Mashkay, Shadi Kour, Buleida, Mand, Kalat, Jhao, Awaran, Quetta, Panjgur, and Mashkel. The primary objective of these operations is to paralyze the occupying state's exploitative structure and to uproot its grip on occupied Balochistan. BLF fighters carried out a total of 51 operations during August, including one special strategic operation. As a result of these coordinated strikes, a total of 102 occupying Pakistani army personnel were killed and more than 28 were wounded, while 13 key informants and agents running informant networks against the movement were also eliminated. In this struggle for the defense of the homeland and national liberation against enemy forces, 9 BLF valiant fighters embraced martyrdom on the line of duty. Strategically, the month's largest and most significant operation was executed on August 29, 2026, in Mashkel city, in the form of an organized, coordinated, multi-pronged guerrilla operation. BLF fighters established full control over Mashkel city while launching intense attacks on occupying forces and military targets, inflicting heavy losses. In this coordinated operation, more than 25 security personnel were killed, and several were wounded, while 3 quadcopters and 1 surveillance drone were destroyed, along with a large quantity of seized weapons and military equipment. BLF continued its military and strategic attacks by establishing 7 road blockades on major highways on separate occasions, cutting off the enemy's supply and logistics lines. As part of a strategy to halt and restrict the movement of enemy forces, 10 military convoys were ambushed, inflicting heavy losses of personnel and material. In addition, direct, coordinated attacks were carried out on 10 major military camps, 16 military checkpoints, and 2 intelligence offices, severely disrupting the enemy's defense system. On the technical, communications, and material fronts, BLF targeted advanced surveillance equipment as part of efforts to weaken the occupier's infrastructure. One surveillance drone and 3 quadcopters used for aerial reconnaissance were destroyed, while 1 mobile phone tower was disabled to disrupt communications. On the material and military front, 10 military vehicles were destroyed during operations and explosions, while during Operation Mashkel and other attacks, 43 weapons and other military equipment were seized from retreating enemy personnel. To maintain diversity in operations, various guerrilla warfare tactics were used against the enemy this month. In total, attacks against the enemy included 18 heavy-weapons strikes, 13 grenade-launcher operations, 10 ambushes, 2 remote-controlled IED explosions, 2 hand-grenade attacks, and 2 sniper attacks. In addition, one intelligence-based operation was carried out. These varied attacks reflect the organization's military capability, planning, and ability to sustain operations under all circumstances. Two personnel and Four state agents killed, several injured in four operations: Major Gwahram Baloch Balochistan Liberation Front fighters targeted an occupying army security post with an IED at Dokani Cross in the Shadi Kour area of Pasni on August 30, 2026. The fighters had planted the bomb inside the military post, as soldiers entered the post, the bomb detonated, killing one soldier on the spot and injuring another. In another operation, BLF fighters simultaneously attacked three different camps/bases of state-backed death squad head Shafiq Mengal, in the Tutak area of Khuzdar on August 28, 2026. As a result, four death-squad personnel present at the camp were killed , while one was captured alive by our fighters and being interrogated by the organization. This camp is the same center and torture cell from which the bodies of 170 forcefully missing Baloch people were recovered in mass graves in 2014. In another operation on August 27, 2026, BLF fighters carried out a sniper attack on an occupying army security checkpoint at Lagar Koh in the Kachkki area of Nushki. The targeted attack killed one soldier on the spot. In another operation on August 25, 2026, BLF fighters targeted the office of the DIG Police, Rakhshan, located in the center of Kharan city, with a hand-grenade attack. The grenade landed inside the office, injuring personnel and inflicting financial damage. The Balochistan Liberation Front claims responsibility for all casualties and financial losses inflicted on the occupying army and death squads in these operations against the occupying army, agents of military-affiliated Shafiq Mengal, and the police. Operation Mashkel, held full control of the city, seizure of police and customs stations and checkpoints, attack on FC main camp, 3 quadcopters and 1 surveillance drone destroyed, 25+ security personnel killed, several wounded, attack on military reinforcements and weapons seized: Major Gwahram Baloch Balochistan Liberation Front fighters launched an organized, coordinated, multi-pronged guerrilla operation on Mashkel city at exactly 3:30 pm on August 29, 2026. To seize control of the city, fighters were divided into six units that took up positions and simultaneously struck their designated targets, encircling the entire city. In phase one Fighters first sealed all entry and exit routes to the city and began snap-checking. One unit took full control of the Customs police station, detaining all personnel present. The station was set on fire along with its records, and a Customs vehicle was seized. Detained personnel were later released unharmed. When army reinforcements attempted to advance on this position, alerted fighters attacked them, killing 4 security personnel on the spot and wounding 2, forcing the enemy to retreat. In phase two our Fighters attacked and successfully seized the police station, arresting all personnel present. After seizing all weapons and equipment found there, fighters burned the station along with official records. In line with the organization’s rules of engagement, all arrested personnel were given safe passage. Fighters then took up positions inside the station and began an attack on the Frontier Corps main camp, shooting down one army quadcopter mid-air. Panicked security forces fired several mortar rounds that landed in surrounding civilian areas. In phase three BLF sarmachars took positions near the main gate of the FC camp in Mashkel and attacked it. Two security checkpoints near the camp gate were destroyed using LMGs, rocket launchers, and grenade launchers, killing 5 FC personnel and wounding several others. Near Commissioner House, three FC vehicles, including an armored vehicle, attempted to encircle the fighters but were repelled by a timely counterattack, killing 3 more FC personnel and wounding 4. In phase four another unit attacked the FC camp from a different direction using rockets, grenade launchers, and automatic weapons, destroying two more enemy checkpoints. Fighters directly assaulted barracks and quarters inside the camp, killing 6 FC personnel and wounding several others. During the engagement , one quadcopter and one advanced surveillance drone conducting aerial surveillance were also destroyed. Another unit surrounded a second army camp in Mashkel and destroyed two of its bunkers with rockets and heavy weapons, killing 4 more personnel and wounding several, while shooting down another quadcopter. These successive attacks confined the enemy to their barracks. In phase 5 a sixth unit already positioned on the highway ambushed a military convoy heading from BuzKohi camp toward Mashkel as reinforcements, at Ladgasht. The attack killed 3 army personnel and wounded 3, while the remaining vehicles fled back toward Buzkohi. The Balochistan Liberation Front views the Baloch national liberation struggle not merely as a matter of land or resources, but as a question of achieving Baloch national freedom, protecting national identity, and safeguarding human dignity. The objective of this multi-phase guerrilla operation in a historically significant city like Mashkel was not only to demonstrate military superiority but to openly undermine the Pakistani state’s colonial authority and the occupying army’s military pride. By these operations, BLF demonstrate that state authority in Baloch territory is rapidly eroding, and vows to continue tightening pressure on the state and its allies until complete independence is achieved.
