Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program (ASSIP) — Summer 2026
ASSIP is a full-time summer research internship for high school students interested in STEM. Participants work one-on-one with faculty researchers at George Mason University on real research projects across science, engineering, technology, data science, and more.
Key details:
Dates: June 18 – August 12, 2026 (8 weeks)
Format: In-person, hybrid, or remote (depends on mentor)
Outcome: Hands-on research + 3 college credits

Barcelona International Youth Science Challenge (BIYSC)

Stipendium Hungaricum is a great opportunity to receive a full scholarship to study in Hungary. It’s open for students from around 100 countries (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, India are eligible).
The deadline is January 15th. However, KZ citizens have an additional step to make- to fill a EGov form.
Online Application (International Portal): Submit your main application on the Stipendium Hungaricum portal (apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu) by the general deadline (e.g., January 15, 2026).
Local Submission (Bolashak/Egov): You must also submit supporting documents through Kazakhstan's Electronic Government (Egov.kz) portal and the JSC “Center for International Programs” (Bolashak) between late November and mid-January.
