Dr. Kong Marry, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Digital Government Committee, and Chair of the Inter-Ministerial E-Services for Business Working Group, chaired a meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group on the Development of E-Services for Business. The meeting was attended by more than 100 high-level officials and technical officers from 39 ministries and institutions. The meeting was convened for the purpose of reviewing on: 1. The results contained in the 2025 Annual Progress Report on the implementation of the Action Plan of the Strategy on the Development of E-Services for Business (2025–2028); 2. The implementation progress achieved during the first semester of 2026 3. The strategic directions and priority actions for continued implementation in 2026 and subsequent years; and 4. Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, led approximately 1,500 management team members, government officials, and staff of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in a 2,700-step walk at the Morodok Techo National Stadium. On this occasion, EDF Secretariats staffs have contribute by making meaningful donations through QR code and participated in the 2,700-step walk to demonstrate solidarity and support for the humanitarian cause of sustaining healthcare and medical treatment services for children at Kantha Bopha Hospital. In addition, EDF has consolidated a Program Mapping exercise based on the information and inputs provided by each participating institution, serving as a foundation for further study, analysis, and coordination of collaborative mechanisms. Dr. Kong Marry, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Digital Economy and Business Committee, attended the "Consultative Retreat on the Draft 2025 Monitoring Report on the Implementation of the Pentagonal Strategy - Phase 1". The retreat was presided over by H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, and Chairman of the Committee for Monitoring and Evaluating the Implementation of the Pentagonal Strategy - Phase 1. The event was also attended by senior leadership from various ministries and institutions, as well as representatives from key development partners. This retreat was organized to review and discuss the Draft 2025 Monitoring Report, with the goal of tracking achievements, reflecting on challenges, and gathering essential inputs to formulate guiding recommendations, prior to submitting the draft report for the upcoming Plenary Session of the Council of Ministers. These recommendations will benefit the implementation of the Pentagonal Strategy - Phase 1 in both the immediate and medium term.

Dr. KONG Marry, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, accompanied by the leadership of GDDE, representatives of the relevant ministries, and GDDE’s technical working group in charge of developing the Cambodia E-Invoicing System. ✍️ It should also be noted that the workshop was organized with the objective of disseminating information on the Cambodia E-Invoicing System to representatives of budget entities of the 14 Line Ministries/Institutions in order to ensure their readiness for the implementation of e-invoicing during the second quarter of 2026.
