📢 *GDS Ex-Gratia Bonus 2025-26 – Department of Posts* Order dated 16.10.2026: Ex-gratia bonus sanctioned for all *Gramin Dak Sevaks* equivalent to *60 days*. 💰 *Maximum bonus: ₹13,816* 📌 *Formula:* (Average TRCA × 60) ÷ 30.4 📌 *Average TRCA:* (TRCA + DA drawn from 1.4.2025 to 31.3.2026) ÷ 12 • Each month's TRCA + DA is capped at *₹7,000* 📌 *Quick shortcut:* Total capped TRCA + DA × 0.16447 🧮 *Example calculations:* *1) Full year, TRCA + DA ₹7,000 or more every month* Total = 12 × 7,000 = ₹84,000 Average = 84,000 ÷ 12 = ₹7,000 Bonus = (7,000 × 60) ÷ 30.4 = *₹13,816* *2) Full year, TRCA + DA ₹6,000 every month* Total = 12 × 6,000 = ₹72,000 Average = 72,000 ÷ 12 = ₹6,000 Bonus = (6,000 × 60) ÷ 30.4 = *₹11,842* *3) Only 6 months on duty, ₹7,000 per month* Total = 6 × 7,000 = ₹42,000 Average = 42,000 ÷ 12 = ₹3,500 Bonus = (3,500 × 60) ÷ 30.4 = *₹6,908* ⚠️ *Important points:* • GDS who joined, were put off duty, or left service during the year get *proportionate* bonus • GDS who resigned/discharged/left service in the year are also eligible (proportionate) • TRCA drawn by substitute GDS is *not counted* for bonus • Put off duty / dies-non periods are treated as per earlier orders (11.6.1981 and 8.2.1988) • Amount is rounded to the nearest rupee

As informed by UIDAI, there are SSL certificate and other updates in CELC scheduled from today at their end. The activity shall take sometime due to which CELC services will be impacted for next 2-3 days. Hence it is requested to all not to plan any major CELC activity for the period. The new CELC application version shall be deployed by Bank after testing. The schedule of mass deplyment shall be informed to all in due time.
