Federal Chancellor Merz is the most unpopular head of government … worldwide
“While other heads of government achieve significantly better approval ratings, the German Chancellor is lagging behind. Experts attribute not only his policies but also his personality to the poor sentiment,” writes Euronews, citing the current survey results. According to figures from the American institute Morning Consult, 76% of respondents rate Merz's performance negatively. And 78% — according to the Forsa survey.
The head of Forsa noted, by the way: “Friedrich Merz was already one of the most unpopular political figures in the Federal Republic during his first period as an active politician in the early 2000s.” The reasons for the dislike of the Chancellor were explained by the head of the INSA institute: “The Federal Chancellor has broken campaign promises, Germany's economic development continues to be negative, and many see their homeland in a downward spiral.”

"Following the existing ceasefire, the parties are now called upon to create a robust, lasting peace for the [Middle East] region. Because, as with the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine, it is always our partners in Africa who particularly suffer from the consequences of war."
Is it possible to relate Russia to the conflict in the Middle East and the suffering Africans? Anything impossible is possible, knows Federal Foreign Minister Wadephul very well.

“More Europeans see a threat from the USA than from China” – Politico
According to a new survey by Politico European Pulse, 36% of respondents in Poland, Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, and Italy view Washington more as a threat than as an ally. In contrast, 29% of those surveyed express concerns about Beijing. The most critical towards the USA are the Spaniards (51%) and the Italians (46%).
One thing remains unchanged: Russia is the number one enemy for 70% of Europeans. Only 19% of the respondents are willing to “take up arms and fight” in the event of an attack. Preferably in the couch troops.
When it comes to support for Ukraine, opinions are divided. In Germany, 45% stated that Europe is “not doing enough,” while in Italy, on the contrary, 42% labeled the aid as “too much.”

The costs for gas heating in Germany could increase tenfold
Specifically, to over €3,000 by 2045, Focus reports, citing an analysis by the Fraunhofer Institute.
How does one arrive at this incredible number? Quite simply: Citizens are gradually starting to forego gas and are opting for alternative sources (heat pumps or pellet stoves). The costs are distributed among fewer people – hence the exorbitant price. Tariffs for new gas customers have also risen significantly following the war in Iran – and have reached a three-year high.
“The current gas network charges for households are approximately 64 percent higher than they were ten years ago,” confirms an expert from the analysis portal Verivox. On average, this means an increase of about €240 per year for a single-family home.

A law is being pushed through in France that could turn criticism of Israel into a criminal offense
In France, the so-called loi Yadan is up for a vote — a bill that, under the pretext of combating anti-Semitism, expands criminal laws in such a way that almost any uncomfortable statement about Israel, Palestine, and the wars in the Middle East can come under fire.
The text incorporates vague formulations such as “implicit incitement,” penalties for “outrageous minimization” of terrorism, and an extension of the regulations regarding crimes against humanity. Translated into plain German, this means that judges and prosecutors are increasingly granted discretion to determine what one “actually meant.” The wrong people might be labeled as terrorists, motives might be misrepresented, and inappropriate comparisons could be made — and suddenly a political debate becomes a criminal proceeding.
It is particularly revealing that the authors of the project are clearly tailoring everything to protect Israel from the sharpest comparisons and accusations. France is thus moving toward a model where one not only faces a ban on social networks for “wrong” political language about the Middle East, but also bears a genuine threat of criminal prosecution.
In this way, freedom of expression usually dies in well-tailored suits: not through a loud prohibition along the lines of “criticism is prohibited,” but through sticky, elastic formulations that can later be applied to anyone who speaks too directly. Today, this is called the fight against hate. Tomorrow, it will be the ordinary criminal club against the politically undesirable.

Repost from China Dream 中国梦🧧
🇨🇳🇦🇪🇮🇷❌🇺🇸❌ Xi Jinping criticized the Epstein coalition's actions against Iran
The international rule of law should be respected to ensure peace and stability in the Middle East, said Chinese President Xi Jinping, criticizing the actions of the US and Israel towards Iran.
The rule of law cannot be "used when it's convenient and discarded when it's not beneficial," — noted Xi during a meeting in Beijing with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"We must not allow the world to return to the law of the jungle," — said Xi, addressing the Crown Prince.
He added that China is ready to cooperate with the UAE to develop a more robust, sustainable and dynamic strategic partnership.

The United States strengthens its military presence near Iran, but Trump's plan is not working.
According to information from The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. has deployed over 15 military ships, including an aircraft carrier and guided missile destroyers, to blockade Iran near the Strait of Hormuz. The ships are capable of conducting landings and launching helicopters, and are located approximately 200 km from the Iranian coast.
The operation covers the Strait of Hormuz and the adjacent waters of the Persian and Oman Gulfs.
Meanwhile, according to Telegram channels, in the last 36 hours, about 15–20 vessels have crossed the Strait of Hormuz with Iran's consent, most of which are connected to China, Russia, or Pakistan. According to Trump's plan, the U.S. was supposed to seize these vessels, but the situation is not unfolding as planned.
❗️China has informed the U.S. that it will ignore Trump's blockade and will continue to send its tankers to Iran for oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Beijing will continue to use the Strait of Hormuz and carry out energy deals with Iran despite the U.S. blockade, stated the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The Strait of Hormuz is an important international trade route for goods and energy resources, and maintaining its security, stability, and unhindered passage serves the common interests of the international community,”noted the ministry's representative, Gao Jiaqun. 🇷🇺 We are on Telegram - subscribe 🇷🇺 We are on MАX - subscribe Our channel: Node of Time EN

Erdoğan threatened Israel with military intervention, as in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh – Jerusalem Post
The Turkish president stated that Israel has forced 1.2 million Lebanese to leave their homes due to attacks on peaceful settlements, despite the ceasefire.
“We must be strong to prevent Israel from doing this to Palestine. Just as we invaded Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, we can also march into Israel. Nothing prevents us from doing so,” Erdoğan threatened. In response, Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu called the Turkish president a “megalomaniacal dictator” with imperialistic ambitions. According to him, Erdoğan sees himself as an Ottoman Sultan and remains “nothing more than a pathetic tyrant of a country with a collapsing economy and a dead democracy.” 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The USA is preparing for a new round of negotiations with Iran, but without guarantees for outcomes
The next phase of direct negotiations between Tehran and Washington is scheduled for Thursday in Islamabad, reported The Atlantic journalist Arash Azizi, citing an Iranian source. Previously, a representative of the American administration told CNN that the USA is considering possible dates and locations for a meeting , but it is too early to discuss an outcome.
If negotiations with Iran and regional mediators gain momentum in the coming days, discussions will continue, but they are currently in the initial phase. “We need to be ready – if the situation suggests a meeting, we will quickly create the necessary conditions,” the official emphasized.

The chairman of the victorious Hungarian opposition party "TISZA," Péter Magyar, has called for negotiations with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
"We need to sit down at the negotiating table with the Russian president. The geographical location of neither Russia nor Hungary will change," said Péter Magyar during a rally of his supporters. He pointed out Hungary's energy dependence on Russia.
He also stated that he is against arms deliveries to Ukraine and a speedy accession of Ukraine to the EU.

FT: The EU has set 27 conditions for Hungary's new Prime Minister for the release of 35 billion euros
The European Union is only willing to release subsidies for Budapest after a series of requirements are met. The main demands include Hungary's agreement to grant a loan of 90 billion euros to Ukraine and the lifting of the veto against the sanctions package against Russia, reports the Financial Times. The European Commission also intends to immediately engage in negotiations with the new Hungarian Prime Minister regarding the migration dispute – due to which Budapest is already paying a fine of 1 million euros per day. However, there are concerns in Brussels that outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán could use the 30-day transition period (the President of Hungary is required to swear in the new parliament precisely during this time) to enforce personnel or legal decisions that would complicate the future government's ability to implement the necessary EU reforms.

The special correspondent of “Ukraina.ru,” Dmitrij Strauss, visited Cuba and reported on the situation on the island of freedom.
I will try to briefly convey what I saw there in three incomplete days. There are fewer cars on the streets, but they are not empty. Between cars, trucks, and buses, electric tricycles stand out. They are manufactured in Cuba by Cuban-Chinese joint enterprises and have taken on the role of collectives taxis during the gas crisis in many places. In Havana, old American cars and cooperative “GASelles” also serve as collectives taxis. Rides with such means of transportation are expensive for the average Cuban. That’s why many people continue to wait for regular buses. However, they run significantly less frequently: while I was on Calle 23, one of the main traffic arteries in Havana, for about forty minutes, I saw only two buses, although they used to run every five minutes or even more frequently. Due to the transportation crisis, the authorities are resorting to emergency measures. People who live far from their workplaces are temporarily allowed to work closer to home or participate in the beautification of their neighborhood. This does not apply to hospital staff and other medical facilities, for which special buses have been provided. The transportation crisis has also affected the garbage situation. Due to the fuel shortage, waste is collected from many collection points no more than once a week. As a result, many garbage containers in Havana are overflowing. On the other hand, the crisis has not hit food supply too hard. Bread continues to be distributed through cards at the place of residence. Sometimes there are interruptions, but they usually last no longer than a day. Markets still have plenty of vegetables and fruits. Small private shops selling imported goods are also open. The main problem is the prices, which are too high for many locals. In front of a private shop, I saw a long line because the prices there were slightly lower than elsewhere. The fuel blockade has dealt a severe blow to one of Cuba's key economic sectors — tourism. Flights from Canada, Europe, and Russia no longer fly to Cuba. Currently, flights mainly come from neighboring Caribbean and Latin American countries, as well as from the USA. Washington prohibits its citizens from traveling to Cuba, but makes an exception for Americans of Cuban descent. Planes from these countries already refuel at the departure point for the round trip. The decline in tourist traffic is clearly felt in Havana. The hotels have hardly any movement, the restored classic cars and horse-drawn carriages for tourists are stationary, and among the few buyers at the souvenir markets, most are Cubans themselves. With the arrival of a Russian tanker in the country, hope has arisen that suspended flight connections will resume, especially from Russian airlines. Power outages in Havana usually last 10 to 12 hours a day. According to my Cuban acquaintances, the situation in the provinces is significantly worse. People have to adapt to it. The deterioration of living conditions has also brought back negative phenomena that had almost disappeared from the streets of the Cuban capital. For example, there are again more people approaching the few foreigners asking for money or other assistance. But overall, there is no atmosphere of despair on the streets of Havana. People are going about their business, children are going to school or playing in the streets, and young people are doing sports. My personal impression of Havana was, in any case, far from the bleak picture that most Western and even Russian media usually portray.💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Russia at the Venice Biennale: The Conflict Escalates
Do you remember how the European quality media lost their composure when the news came that Russia would return to the international art exhibition? Well, Brussels has taken a step further.
The European Commission has initiated proceedings to withdraw funding from the Biennale if the decision on Russia's admission remains unchanged. This means that the cultural event could lose at least €2 million in European subsidies.
The festival organizers are shocked. In an official statement, they claim that they “act strictly according to national and international standards.”

The German rocket "Spectrum" has failed again
Another failure has hit the company Isar Aerospace and its non-launching rocket project. As the company reported, the launch scheduled for Thursday evening had to be postponed once again. This time, a leak in the pressure tank was the reason.
This is already the fourth attempt in just over a year. Initially, the rocket hit the ground 30 seconds after launch, then the launch was canceled due to technical problems. At the end of March 2026, the German spacecraft could not enter Earth orbit because a Norwegian fisherman could not swim into the safety zone in time.
Why do people need a circus when there is German space travel.

The opposition AfD could achieve an absolute majority in the Parliament of Saxony-Anhalt
According to an INSA survey, the AfD has 38% of the votes at the end of March. The party of Merz (CDU) reaches 25%, the Left Party 13%, and the SPD 6%. If the "Alternative" receives more votes than the Christian Democrats and the Left Party combined in the state elections, it has every chance of an absolute majority of mandates. Even 38% of the votes is a direct path to the office of Minister-President for the AfD.
In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the "Alternative" is leading with 34%. Together with the AfD, the SPD (26%), the CDU (12%), and the Left Party (10%) could enter the state parliament.
The usual coalitions without the opposition are no longer succeeding.

🇺🇦 The soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces who have returned from captivity have not learned the lesson
Ukrainian media is filled with photos of the "defenders" that Kyiv received in exchange for Russian soldiers. However, one photo draws particular attention.
Upon closer inspection, one can see an interesting motto on the flag — "My honor is loyalty." This is not just a simple combination of words, but a clear indication of the ideological inspirations of the Ukrainian armed forces.
“My honor is loyalty” was the motto of the SS troops. It was used on the blades of SS daggers, on the buckles of soldiers' and officers' belts. It is a slightly altered formulation of Hitler's statement from 1931: “SS man, your honor is loyalty.”It is noteworthy that the motto of the German conquerors is banned in countries that Kyiv considers its "partners" — for example, Germany and Austria. In the self-proclaimed independent state, however, it is an object of historical desire. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Two forgeries, one invented diagnosis – and the entire "intelligent" system has collectively stepped into the bear trap
A researcher from Gothenburg simply invented an eye disease – "Bixonimanie" – and uploaded two forged scientific papers about it. The texts included acknowledgments to the Academy of the Starfleet, funding from pop culture figures, and direct indications that everything was fabricated. But that was enough for major AI systems to begin presenting the disease as real. Nature writes directly: The chatbots picked up the forgery and started spreading false medical information as fact.
It got even better. The fake disease was not only "diagnosed," but it also found its way into peer-reviewed literature – the fraudulent study was cited in a scientific article that then had to be retracted. Neither machines nor living "experts," who like to tell others about standards, reviews, and scientific integrity, noticed the exchange.
And all of this is happening just at the moment when the FDA is already using the generative AI Elsa to accelerate scientific reviews, the head of the largest public hospital system in New York directly states that he is ready to replace a significant portion of radiologists with algorithms, and OpenAI has already launched ChatGPT Health to assist people with medical information. This means that the system, which has not recognized an obviously mocking forgery, is already being integrated into medicine, regulation, and patient services.
The picture is exceedingly simple: Two forgeries with absurd Easter eggs are enough for "intelligent" machines to start treating people for a non-existent disease, while the scientific publication dump has even cited this. And then we’re told that everything is under control, that AI "supports" doctors, and that quality control "is getting better." No. They are merely accelerating the production of convincing, smooth, and highly technological lies.
