The Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus - EECMY

The inauguration ceremony of the Halaba WASH project in Laylenda Kebele, Halaba zone, was held by the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesand Social Services Commission (EECMY-DASSC). The event was attended by Mr. Bikila Abeya, Programs Director of EECMY-DASSC, as well as high-ranking representatives of the Commission. Other notable guests included Mr. Mohammad Kemal Nurye Deputy Administrator of Halaba Zone, Mr. Abdi Kairedin, the Head of Halaba Zone Water and Mineral Office, representatives from the Weira woreda sector offices, and the residents of Lelinda Kebele. In addition, Rev. Samato Hebebo, President of EECMY Ambaricho Blate Synod, and other staff members from EECMY DASSC CNE AO, ABS BO, and HO were present. During the second year of the project, which spanned from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, various tasks were carried out. These included the construction of a 50m3 reservoir, the installation of a 1.8km pressure line, and 6.8km distribution lines. Additionally, two gender-segregated VIP toilets with a water point were built in Laylenda School, along with six community water points. Furthermore, an office block consisting of three rooms was constructed for the water users association. In addition to these physical endeavors, the project also focused on addressing the sanitation needs of the 1700 households through community-led total sanitation (CLTS) in the targeted kebele. Overall, the project allocated over 430,000 USD financed by #Neverthirst and directly influenced the lives of 6,803 individuals, including women and men, girls and boys living in the target Kebele.

ከጀርመን ፕሮቴስታንት አብያተክርስቲያናት (Protestant Church in Germany) የመጣው የልዑካን ቡድን በኢትዮጵያ ወንጌላዊት ቤተክርስቲያን መካነ ኢየሱስ ጉብኝት አደረገ። */* */* */* ልዑኩ በህብረቱ የኢኩሜኒካል ግንኙነት እና አለም አቀፍ አገልግሎት ዳይሬክተር በሆኑት ቢሾኘ ፔትራ ቦስ-ሁበር በመመራት የመካነ ኢየሱስ ቤተክርስቲያንን የአገልግሎት ክንፎችን ጎብኝቷል። ቡድኑ ጉብኝቱን የ/ኢ/ወ/ቤ/ክ/መ/ኢ የልማት እና ማህበራዊ አገልግሎት ኮምሽን ፕሮጀክት በሆነው የሰንዳፋ ኢኮ ፋርም ፕሮግራም ጥር 25/2016 የጀመረ ሲሆን በእለቱም ኮምሽነር ዶ/ር አበያ ዋቅወያ ስለ ፕሮጀክቱ ሂደት ገለፃ ለልዑኩ አድርገዋል። በመቀጠልም ልዑካኑ የመካነ ኢየሱስ ሴሚናሪን ጥር 26/2016 ዓ.ም ጎብኝተዋል። የሴሚናሪውም ፕሬዚደንት ቄ/ስ ዶ/ር ብሩክ ስለ ተቋሙ የትምህርት ዘርፎች፣ መሰረተ ልማቶች፣ ያለቁ እና በመሰራት ላይ ያሉ የግንባታ ፕሮጀክቶች ገለፃ አድረገዋል። ገለፃውንም ተከትሎ ልዑኩ በሴሚናሪ ግቢ ውስጥ ተዘዋውሮ ፕሮጀክቶቹን ተመልክቷል። _ _ _ _ _ A team of delegates from the Protestant Church in Germany(EKD) visited the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus. */* */* */* Lade by Director of Division for Ecumenical Relation and Global Ministries, Bishop Perta Boss- Huber, the delegates visited the EECMY ministry wings. The team started its visit at one of the EECMY-DASSC projects, the Sendafa ECO FARM program, on February 3, 2024. Up on their visit, the delegates were briefed about the work in progress by Dr. Abeya Wakwoya, commissioner of EECMY-DASSC. Following that, the delegates visited Mekane Yesus Seminary on February 4, 2024. During their visit, the President of the Seminary, Rev. Dr. Biruk briefed the delegates about faculties of the seminary, facilities, and active and completed projects within the compound. After the briefing, the team visited walking around the compound of the Seminary.

ለቃሉ እና ቅዱሳት ሚስጥራት አገልግሎት ለ52 አገልጋዮች የቅስና ሃላፊነት ተጠሰ   x x x x በኢትዮጵያ ወንጌላዊት ቤተክርስቲያን መካነ ኢየሱስ የምዕራብ ጋምቤላ ቤቴል ሲኖዶስ ለቃሉና ቅዱሳት ሚስጥራት አገልግሎት ለ52 አገልጋዮች የቅስና ሃላፊነት በኒው ላንድ ማህበረ ምዕመናን ጥር 19/2016 ዓ.ም ተሰጥቷል። የቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ ፕሬዚዳንት ቄስ ዶ/ር ዮናስ ይገዙ ለምዕመናን ቃለ እግዚአብሔር አስተምረው እጩ ቄሶቹን ቃለ መሃላ አስገብተው የቅስና ሃላፊነት ሰጥተዋል። በእለቱም የቀሰሱት እጩ ቄሶች በተለያየ ደረጃዎች ዝግጅት ሲያደርጉ የቆዩ ሲሆን ለአገልግሎቱ በሚረዳ መልኩ በመጋቢነት ሀላፊነት ዙሪያ በቤተክርስቲያኒቱ ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት ቄስ ዶ/ር ታሪኩ ቶሎሳ ከጥር 16-18/2016 ለሶስት ተከታታይ ቀናት ስልጠና ወስደዋል። በእለቱም የክልሉ ምክትል ርዕሰ መስተዳድር አቶ ተንኳይ ጆክ በመገኘት ለምዕመናን ሰላምታ አቅርበዋል። ርዕሰ መስተዳደሩም በተመለከኩት ነገር የተሰማቸውን ደስታ ገልፀው ቤተክርስቲያን በዚህ ማህበረሰብ ውስጥ ቡዙ ፍሬ ማፍራቷን እና አንዱም ፍሬ እራሳቸው አንደሆኑ ገልፀዋል። በተጨማሪም ይህንን ሥነ-ሥርዓት ለመታደም ጥሪ የተደረገላቸው የሚዮናውያን ልጆች፣ የአጋር ቤተ ክርስቲያናት ወተወካዮች፣ የእጩ ቄሶች ቤተሰቦች እና በርካታ የአከባቢው ማህበረሰብ ተገኝተዋል። የምዕራብ ጋምቤላ ቤቴል ሲኖዶስ በሲኖዶስነት የተመሰረተው በ1984 ዓ.ም ሲሆን በአሁኑ ሰዓት በስሩ 170 ማኀበራነ ምዕመናን እና 137,000 በላይ ምዕመናንን አቅፎ አገልግሎት እየሰጠ የሚገኝ ሲኖዶስ ነው። 52 ministers are ordained for the ministry of the word and sacrament                            x x x x In the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus West Gambela Betel Synod, 52 ministers are ordained for the ministry of the Word and Sacrament at Gambela city New Land congregation on January 18, 2024. The church’s president Rev Dr Yonas Yigezu, after delivering his sermon and leading the ministers in giving their oath to the church, he appointed the ministers to the responsibility of the priesthood. Candidate pastors were also preparing at different levels for the ministry. In order to help their preparation, the church’s vise president Rev Tariku Tolosa gave a preordination and pastoral care training from January 25-27, 2024. Deputy Governor of the region Mr. Tenkwai Jock greeted the congregation, attending the service. After expressing his gratefulness about what he saw, the deputy governor said that the church has produced many fruits in the community and that he is one of them. Besides, children of missionaries, invited guests, partner churches, families of the candidate pastors, and the larger community attended the service. The West Gambela Bethel Synod was established as a Synod in 1992 and currently has 170 congregations and more than 137,000 members. East Gambela Betel Synod 28/01/2023

የኢ/ወ/ቤ/ክ መካነ ኢየሱስ - የሴቶች አገልግሎት የስራ ሂደት የፀሎትና የወንጌል አገልግሎት ንቅናቄ መርሃ ግብር በዋና ጽሕፈት ቤት ዛሬ አካሂዷል። በመርሃ ግብሩም ላይ ከማኀበራነ ምዕመናን የመጡ ሴት መሪዎች እና ቄሶች ተገኝተዋል። በማጠቃለያውም ሴት መሪዎቹ የሴቶችን የፀሎትና የወንጌል አገልግሎት በየማኀበራነ ምዕመናቸው ለመቀቀስቀስ እና ከማህበረ ምዕመናን እስከ ሀገር አቀፍ የሚካሄድ የፀሎት አገልግሎት ለመዘርጋት ወስነዋል። * * * * * * * EECMY - Women Ministry Department conducted prayer and mission mobilization program today at the central office main Hall. On the program women leaders and pastors from different congratulations of the Central Ethiopia Synod has attended. When finalizing the program, the leader agreed to revive women’s prayer and mission ministry in their individual congregations, and devise a prayer ministry that stretch from congregations to the nation level.
