The field was discovered in April 2026 during Eni's Mediterranean offshore campaign launched in October 2025 and it's estimated to hold around 2 TFC of gas and 130 million BBL of condensate in place. AGI আসলে কী?
AGI = Artificial General Intelligence, অর্থাৎ এমন AI যা শুধু একটি নির্দিষ্ট কাজ নয়, বরং মানুষের মতো বিস্তৃত ধরনের বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক কাজ করতে পারে—শেখা, যুক্তি করা, সমস্যা সমাধান, পরিকল্পনা, নতুন দক্ষতা অর্জন ইত্যাদি।
সমস্যা হলো, AGI-এর কোনো সর্বজনস্বীকৃত পরীক্ষাযোগ্য সংজ্ঞা নেই। তাই “AGI হয়ে গেছে” কথাটার অর্থ ব্যক্তি বা প্রতিষ্ঠানভেদে আলাদা হতে পারে।
Jensen Huang ঠিক কী বলছেন?
২৭ আগস্ট ২০২৬-এর Nvidia earnings call-এ তাকে AI/AGI নিয়ে প্রশ্ন করা হলে তিনি বলেন, “for many tasks, we could say that we've already achieved AGI.” অর্থাৎ:
“অনেক ধরনের কাজের ক্ষেত্রে আমরা বলতে পারি যে AGI ইতিমধ্যেই অর্জিত হয়েছে।”
তার যুক্তিটা আরও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। তিনি বলছেন, বর্তমান AI agents শুধু প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিচ্ছে না; তারা কাজ সম্পন্ন করছে, নিজের কাজ পর্যালোচনা করে পরবর্তীবার উন্নতি করছে এবং একে অপরের সঙ্গে কাজ করতে পারছে।
তাহলে কি সত্যিই AGI এসে গেছে?
এখানে একটু সাবধান হওয়া দরকার।
Huang-এর বক্তব্যকে আমি এভাবে বুঝব:
“AI-এর ক্ষমতা এখন এত বিস্তৃত হয়েছে যে AGI-এর পুরোনো সংজ্ঞা দিয়ে বর্তমান AI-কে আর সহজে AGI-এর আগের পর্যায়ে রাখা যায় না।”
কিন্তু এর অর্থ এই নয় যে বর্তমান AI মানুষের সমানভাবে সব ধরনের কাজ করতে পারে।
উদাহরণস্বরূপ, AI অসাধারণভাবে coding, গবেষণা, লেখালেখি, বিশ্লেষণ, গণনা ইত্যাদি করতে পারে; কিন্তু বিভিন্ন বাস্তব পরিস্থিতিতে নির্ভরযোগ্যতা, দীর্ঘমেয়াদি autonomous planning, বাস্তব জগতের judgment এবং ধারাবাহিকতা এখনও বড় প্রশ্ন। AI-agent reliability নিয়ে সাম্প্রতিক গবেষণাতেও accuracy আর reliability-এর মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য পার্থক্য পাওয়া গেছে।
সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশটা অন্য জায়গায়
Huang নিজেই বলেছেন যে “AGI achieved” এই milestone নিয়ে খুব বেশি মাথা ঘামানো অর্থহীন। তার কাছে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হলো:
AI এখন বাস্তব productive কাজ করছে → সেই কাজ অর্থনৈতিক মূল্য তৈরি করছে → আরও compute দিলে আরও AI কাজ করানো যাবে → অর্থনৈতিক উৎপাদন বাড়বে।
এটাই আসলে Nvidia-এর দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির বড় পরিবর্তন।
আগের প্রশ্ন ছিল:
“কবে AGI আসবে?”
Huang-এর বক্তব্য অনেকটা:
“AGI এসেছে কি না সেটা নিয়ে তর্ক বাদ দিন—AI এখন মানুষের কাজের অংশবিশেষ করতে পারছে, এবং সেই কাজের জন্য বিপুল পরিমাণ compute দরকার।”
আর Nvidia যেহেতু সেই AI compute-এর প্রধান অবকাঠামো নির্মাতাদের একটি, এই পরিবর্তনের অর্থ Nvidia-এর জন্যও বিশাল।
আর একটা মজার বিষয়: Huang এটা প্রথমবার বলছেন না। মার্চ ২০২৬-এ Lex Fridman-এর সঙ্গে কথোপকথনেও তিনি সরাসরি বলেছিলেন, “I think we have already achieved AGI.”
সুতরাং headline-টা “AI আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে AGI হয়ে গেছে” নয়। বরং বেশি নির্ভুল অর্থ হলো: Nvidia CEO-এর মতে, বর্তমান AI-এর সক্ষমতা ইতিমধ্যেই AGI-এর কিছু ব্যবহারিক সংজ্ঞা পূরণ করছে—এবং এখন মূল বিষয় AGI-এর label নয়, AI দিয়ে কতটা বাস্তব কাজ ও অর্থনৈতিক উৎপাদন করা যায়। | 4 |
