A: If one gives tasleem before the completion of Salah, intentionally, the Salah is invalid.
If one does so unintentionally/ forgetfully, and then remembers soon after, they complete the Salah and then perform sujood al sahw.

كنقص القادرين على التمام
“I have never seen among the faults of people a fault like the falling short of those who are capable of excellence.”
One of the most disappointing things to see is a person who has great potential but does not live up to it. Oftentimes, this is a result of not having high ambitions. In order to reach our maximum potential, we need to aim high and desire to be great.
Why is it that when we see people who excel and reach greatness, we simply admire them from afar? Why don’t we think to ourselves: Why not me? Every person who has achieved greatness is a human being just like you. No doubt, certain people may be more naturally gifted than others, but ultimately, if a person works hard, trusts in Allah, and remains consistent without giving up, he can reach a very high level and surpass most.
And this is the advice of our Prophet ﷺ:
احرص على ما ينفعك، واستعن بالله، ولا تعجز
“Be eager for that which benefits you, seek Allah’s aid, and do not give up.”
The Prophet ﷺ also said:
إذا سألت الله، فاسأله الفردوس
“If you ask Allah, then ask Him for al-Firdaws.”
The Prophet ﷺ is teaching us not to be people who are satisfied with mediocrity. We should strive for greatness, and even if we don’t fully achieve it, at least we will have come close and can say that we tried. But if we don’t even attempt to reach our potential, then know that one of the greatest faults is:

“The falling short of those who are capable of excellence.” | 226 |

• Akhsar al Mukhtasarat is a classical Hanbali Fiqh book for beginners. Its concise and a great place to start
• I post these points as a form of revision for us all. The way to gain itqan in a science is constant repetition of issues.
• Me posting these translations does not mean it’s a clear cut hukm for you to follow every time. There are cases where the madhab may not be the strongest opinion, or in general there is more depth to the masa’alah
For confusing/ more interesting issues, I use the Hashiyah (top blue book) to add more explanation
