- Fancy clothes or anything with metal parts.
- Overthinking and talking to others after Paper 1 about answers.
Heat safety tips:
- Drink water regularly; do not wait until you feel thirsty.
- Carry ORS if you are traveling far or if the weather feels harsh.
- Use a scarf, cap, or dupatta outside the center to reduce direct sun exposure.
- If you feel dizzy, weak, or dehydrated, rest and hydrate immediately.
Exam hall reminder:

Please keep your printed admit card, the same original photo ID mentioned on the admit card, and black ball pens ready tonight itself. If your admit card photo is unclear, carry the required extra passport-size photographs and undertaking as mentioned in the instructions. Also recheck your exam centre address, route, travel time, and reporting plan now so you do not face any last-minute stress tomorrow.
For the exam day outfit, wear something simple, light, and comfortable. Avoid smartwatches, fitness bands, metal accessories, heavy jewellery, flashy clothes, and anything that may delay frisking or cause trouble at security check. A simple cotton outfit, easy footwear, and a neat, minimal look will help you move smoothly through the centre process.
Because the heat is severe in many parts of the country, please stay hydrated throughout the evening and tomorrow morning. Keep a water bottle, ORS, and a scarf or dupatta ready for travel, especially if your centre is far or you have to stand in the sun. Do not wait until you feel weak; sip water regularly and keep your body cool.
Tomorrow, leave early and reach the centre well before time. UPSC has said entry closes 30 minutes before the start of the session, and no one will be allowed in after the gates close. Please avoid any rush in the morning, keep your documents in hand, and focus only on calm execution and confidence.
