3	१। शुद्धेन मनसा कार्य्यं कुरु। • By a pure mind, do the work. • शुद्ध मन से काम करो। २। हृदि या विराजते ते तस्या नाम किम्। • She who resides in the heart of yours, what is the name of her? • तुम्हारे मन में जो विराजती हैं, उसका नाम क्या है। ३। सकले लोके त्वादृशो नान्यः पूज्यः। • In the entire world, there is no other worthy of worship like you. • सारे संसार में तुम्हारे जैसा दूसरा कोई पूजने योग्य नहीं है। ४। विद्युल्लतेव तस्या आकृतिः सुन्दर्याः। • Like a streak of lightning is the form of that beautiful one. • उस सुंदरी का रूप बिजली की लता के समान है। ५। अकर्ता आत्मानं कर्तारं मन्यते। • The non-doer considers oneself the doer. • न करने वाला अपने आप को करने वाला मानता है। ६। वित्ते दग्धे न किञ्चिन्मे धक्ष्यति। • When the wealth is burnt, nothing of mine will burn. • धन के जल जाने पर मेरा कुछ नहीं जलेगा। ७। लघुः बालको न ताडनीयः मात्रा। • The small boy is not to be beaten by the mother. • माता के द्वारा छोटे बालक को पीटना नहीं चाहिए। ८। सदा त्वया उक्तं वचनं गृह्णामि। • I always accept the word spoken by you. • मैं सदा तुम्हारे द्वारा कहे गए वचन को मानता हूँ। ९। मनो जित्वा आयाति तपस्वी। • Having conquered the mind, the ascetic comes. • मन को जीतकर तपस्वी आता है। १०। त्वां परपुरुषः पश्यति चेद् मम हृदयं दहति। • If another man sees you, my heart burns. • यदि पराया पुरुष तुम्हें देखता है तो मेरा हृदय जलता है। @samvadah #vakyabhyas	149

5	🌿 अनङ्गतापप्रशमाय तस्य कदर्थ्यमाना मुहुरामृणालम्। मधौ मधौ नाकनदीनलिन्यो वरं वहन्तां शिशिरेऽनुरागम्॥ 🌞 तस्य इन्द्रस्य अनङ्गतापप्रशमाय कामजतापप्रशमनाय मधौ मधौ प्रत्येकं वसन्ते मुहुः‌ आमृणालं कदर्थ्यमानाः उत्पाट्यमानाः नाकनदीनलिन्यो स्वर्गनदीकमलिन्यः शिशिरे अनुरागं वरं वहन्तां न वसन्ते। 🌷 उन इन्द्र के काम जनित ताप को शांत करने के लिए हर वसन्त में बार-बार नाल सहित उखाड़ी जाने वाली स्वर्ग की नदी की कमिलिनियाँ (इन्द्रदेव अप्सराओं को कमल देकर अपनी काम-वासना को शान्त करते हैं), भले सर्दी पर स्नेह रखें (दुःख देने वाले वसन्त का मोह छोड़ दें।) 🌹 To calm the desire-born heat of that (Indra), every spring the heavenly river's lotus flowers, being uprooted along with their stalks (Indra pacifies his passion by offering lotuses to the heavenly damsels), should well behold the love for the winter (let go of the painful attachment to spring). 📍 नैषधीयचरितम् । ८।६९॥ #Subhashitam	153

8	I have realised my folly. I thought that even if someone is willing to do even one small work for Sanskrit, we should let him do it. But this approach is not aligned with Dharma as it scatters the work which requires one-pointed dedication as the volunteers are essentially focused on their day-to-day life rather than being focused on Sanskrit, and therefore it is not sustainable. The word Dharma itself is formed from the root धृञ्, which essentially means “that which sustains.” So the question arises: How do we continue the legacy of @samvadah so that Sanskrit thrives in the modern world and breathes as a truly living language? The answer is the unwavering commitment of a single scholar. Even if the scholar is not a Brahmin, he may still rise to the top position in Samvadah due to his merit — though he might face karmic dilemmas in the long run. What decides true merit? First and foremost: Total commitment and the will to dedicate his entire life to Sanskrit. Secondarily: Good knowledge of Sanskrit, Hindi, and English, along with being tech-savvy enough to create posts and manage Samvadah’s activities. What will he gain? Immense punya by dedicating his whole life to Sanskrit — and thus live a life truly worth living. But is it ultimately worth it for him? Honestly, no — not in the ideal sense. The primary dharma of a Brahmin is to teach and perform yajñas. The propagation of Sanskrit is merely a natural byproduct of teaching shastric knowledge. Therefore, the best path is for him to teach students and have them carry out much of the work. This is beneficial for the teacher, the students, and the entire audience of Samvadah. What should he teach? Two things are enough: He should be known as a true Arya — one who knows Sanskrit and has studied the Mahabharata directly in Sanskrit, not through translations. Nothing more is required. Knowing Sanskrit is meaningless if one does not know Dharma. Sanskrit is the instrument to gain shastric knowledge and become an Arya. In essence, the scholar should teach Sanskrit, then teach the Mahabharata through Sanskrit, while simultaneously managing the activities of Samvadah himself or through his students. If the work grows too big for one person, he can invite another committed scholar to share the responsibilities (for example, one managing Samvadah and another managing Ramdootah). Very few people will be qualified enough for this. But if anyone has the commitment to live such a life, he can gradually become qualified through practice and fulfil his Dharma. 11	⟩ यद्यपि बहु नाधीषे तथापि पठ पुत्र व्याकरणम् । स्वजनः श्वजनो मा भूत्सकलं शकलं सकृच्छकृत्॥ • पुत्र यद्यपि बहु न अधीषे तथापि व्याकरणं पठ। स्वजनः आत्मीयजनः श्वजनो कुक्कुरजनः मा भूत् सकलं सम्पूर्णं शकलं खण्डं मा भूत् सकृत् एकवारं शकृत् विष्ठा मा भूत्। • बेटा! यद्यपि तुम बहुत नहीं पढ़ते तब भी व्याकरण पढ़ो। जिससे 'स्वजन' (अपने लोग) 'श्वजन' (कुत्ता) न बन जाएँ, 'सकल' (सम्पूर्ण) 'शकल' (टुकड़ा) न बन जाए और 'सकृत्' (एक बार) 'शकृत्' (विष्ठा) न बन जाए। • Son! Even if you do not study much even then study the Sanskrit grammar.
