• Add protection: add a target, stop-loss or trailing stop to a position that is already open, from the Positions screen. The stop-loss can be held by AutoTrader or by your broker.
• Partial square-off: exit 25%, 50%, 75% or any % you type, instead of the full position.
• Faster target and stop-loss exits: prices are checked on every change, and many accounts are closed at the same time.
• Broker down notice: if a broker looks down, you will see a short notice on your screen. | 103 |

Angel One's servers have been slow to reply this morning, mainly around 9:15 and again from 10:00 to 10:07 AM.
• The problem is on Angel One's side. Your static IP and your setup are fine.
• If an order showed an error during these times, check your Angel One order book before placing it again. The order may already be there.
• Portfolio screens may load partly until Angel One recovers. | 124 |

At market open today, Angel One's servers were slow to reply for about 2 minutes (9:15 to 9:17 AM).
• The problem was on Angel One's side. Your static IP and your setup are fine.
• Most of the affected requests were order book and position refreshes, and they recovered on their own.
• If an order showed an error during that time, check your Angel One order book before placing it again.

Since yesterday, "a few AliceBlue orders" have failed at market open with this error:
"Broker Error: Empty result list received"
From tomorrow you may see it as:
"Order not confirmed - AliceBlue replied without an order number"
What it means
• AliceBlue did not accept the order, so nothing was placed.
• It happens now and then, mostly in the first 15 to 30 minutes after market open.
• Your account and settings are fine.
What to do
• If you see this error, check your AliceBlue order book.
• If the order is not there, place it again.

• Risk alerts: if your broker's data cannot be trusted, we tell you protection is paused. Risk emails now come together in one mail.

• Copy trading: a warning before you square off a master together with its own children.

Quarterly Settlement screen Upgrades
• Correct cash for Motilal Oswal: the screen now shows only the cash you can really use. Before, it counted pledged stock as cash, so some buy orders were rejected.
• Master Trust accounts fixed: cash was showing as 0 for every Master Trust account. It now shows the right amount. Master Trust gives one combined balance for all segments, so if you keep cash for MCX, enter a lower amount.
• Clear result after placing: after you place orders, you now see a short summary like "Placed in 24 of 25, 1 failed", with the details for each account.
• Buy button tells you why: when Buy or Sell is greyed out, the screen now says why.
• Small accounts handled: an account without enough cash for even 1 unit is unticked automatically. The screen shows how much 1 unit needs.
• Works after logging in on another tab: Refresh and Buy keep working. If they can't, the screen asks you to reload the page.
• NIFTYBEES added: you can now pick NIFTYBEES. Please note it follows the Nifty 50, so it is an investment, not a place to park cash. | 247 |

• Options screen is out of beta: the order confirm window on this screen now shows the required margin and whether your balance covers it. It also works better on phones.
• Copy trading safety check: you now get a warning if you place an order into a master account and its own child account together, so a trade is not doubled by mistake.
• Clearer broker messages: when a Dhan, Zerodha or Fyers login fails, or a broker refuses a bracket exit, you now see the broker's own reason. Common mix-ups, like API Secret and Client ID, are pointed out.
• Fyers improvements: commodity quantity now shows correctly in lots, retired BO/CO orders get a clear message, and an expired login is detected properly.
• Static IP in one place: buy a static IP from your account's edit screen. The expiry email now shows your wallet balance and how much to add.
• Quarterly settlement reminder: a reminder card appears at login before each quarterly settlement.
• Easier account setup: the add-account page has one help area with a step-by-step guide, and PROP accounts now show the server name and address. | 254 |

On 16 or 17 Oct, your broker sends the unused cash in your trading account back to your bank. To keep it in your account, you can buy a liquid ETF with it before the market closes on Friday.
The new Quarterly Settlement screen (Trading → Quarterly Settlement in AutoTrader Web) helps you do this:
• Lets you buy the ETF in all your accounts in one click
• Lets you sell it in one click whenever you choose

• Convert position: change a position from MIS to NRML or CNC, or back, right from the Portfolio screen. Works with most major brokers.
• Margin check on the Options desk: press Check margin before you place a basket. It shows how much margin the basket needs, next to what each account has. Works with Zerodha and Angel for now.
• NRML baskets with stop protection: the Options desk now lets you place protected NRML baskets. The stop watches your position until the market closes that day. After the close, the position stays open and is no longer watched. The screen tells you this before you place. | 291 |

• Margin check on the Options screen: before you place a basket, press Check margin to see how much margin it needs, right next to what your account has. Works for Zerodha accounts for now.
• Stop loss for NRML option baskets: baskets placed as NRML from the Options screen can now have a stop loss for the same day. The screen tells you clearly what happens at market close.
• More BSE stocks: all tradable BSE stock groups are now available, not just A and B.
• TradingView alerts: if two identical alerts arrive close together, both orders are now placed instead of one being dropped. The Alert Trail marks them as a possible repeat so you can check.
• Copy trading: if one order fails to copy, the master's other orders keep copying as normal.
• Portfolio screen: The session P&L chart now shows net P&L, and live updates stay connected better on large accounts.
• Recharge for many accounts: recharging several accounts together now shows one bill, with static IP charges included. You can also pay for the static IP alone.
• Broker updates: Kotak Neo now works for accounts on Kotak servers without IPv6. Dhan MTF holdings now show correctly. Expired logins on Dhan, Angel and Kotak Neo now ask you to log in again instead of showing a confusing error. Fixes for Upstox, Motilal, IIFL, Share India and MCX P&L on Kambala brokers. | 273 |
