A false flag would target innocent civilians. Especially now that they have tried everything against Iran, including assassinating its Leader, the military impotency of the US has been revealed. A false flag wouldn't even be of strategic benefit to them since they've tried everything and lost. Even a nuke wouldn't get Iran to surrender (and would open up the pandora's box since other nuclear powers such as Russia and China would feel quite threatened, a situation which didn't exist in 1945 when the US was the only nuclear-armed power).
