Ukraine’s drone strikes are forcing Russia’s largest marketplace, Wildberries, to look beyond Russia. The company is reportedly seeking warehouse space in Kazakhstan after repeated attacks on its logistics hubs.

Kyiv honored the victims of the Olenivka prison massacre on the fourth anniversary of one of the deadliest war crimes of Russia’s full-scale invasion. On the night of July 28–29, 2022, a powerful explosion tore through Barrack No. 200 at a former penal colony in Russian-occupied Olenivka, Donetsk region, where Ukrainian POWs were being held. Most were defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal who had surrendered under international guarantees just weeks earlier. At least 53 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed, and more than 130 were wounded. Survivors later testified that the prisoners had been moved to a separate barrack shortly before the explosion. Many of the wounded were left without medical treatment for hours. Russia immediately blamed Ukraine for the attack but refused to grant independent international investigators full access to the site.

The US Senate voted 86-12 to advance sweeping sanctions on Russia, targeting its energy revenues, banks and shadow fleet in a powerful bipartisan show of support for Ukraine — as President Zelensky watched from the Senate chamber.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with US President Donald Trump has concluded after lasting about an hour, according to DW.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has urged President Karol Nawrocki to publicly condemn the growing violence against Ukrainians following the attack on a Ukrainian couple in Wrocław. “We must wage a determined fight against this violence. Violence has become increasingly brazen, due in part to political backing. It is no coincidence that the man who attacked Ukrainians boasted of being a border defender,” Tusk said. Russia insists its fuel crisis is easing. Deputy PM Alexander Novak claims Russian refineries are gradually returning to operation and fuel supplies will stabilize soon — despite earlier reports that around 40% of refineries hit by Ukrainian strikes are unlikely to resume full operations within the next two months.

Two men arrested over the brutal assault of a Ukrainian couple in Poland’s Wrocław face up to five years in prison as prosecutors investigate a possible hate crime. A third suspect remains at large after the attack, which left both victims hospitalized with suspected concussions.

Russian strikes have wiped out more than 80 petrol stations across Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, leaving the entire Kharkiv–Poltava highway without a single working fuel stop. Ukrainian officials say the attacks are part of a broader Russian campaign targeting civilian logistics and critical infrastructure.

Russia said it is going to commission its new submarine, Perm, by the end of 2026, where it comes pre-equipped with launchers for the Zircon missiles – the same missiles that saw increased use in recent air raids against Ukrainian cities as Russia exploits Kyiv’s Patriot missile shortage.
