Russia may soon begin importing gasoline by sea as fuel shortages worsen following Ukrainian strikes on oil refineries, according to Reuters.
The first shipments from Asia are expected in June. Moscow is also buying fuel from Belarus and Kazakhstan, but those supplies reportedly remain insufficient.
Reuters identified signs of fuel shortages in around 12 Russian regions, while a ban on gasoline exports remains in place until the end of July.
