IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held an assessment with Northern Command chief Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo a short while ago, and instructed to conduct an investigation into today's deadly explosion of a Hezbollah cluster submunition in northern Israel and to present the findings to him as soon as possible. The IDF dispatched medical forces and helicopters to take the wounded to hospitals, and army sappers are continuing to scan the area for other possible unexploded ordnance.

IDF: Following the explosion in northern Israel, an initial review by IDF soldiers at the scene indicates that the explosion was likely caused by an unexploded cluster munition belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization that had remained in the area. The incident is still under review. IDF soldiers continue to conduct searches and operate in the area.

Magen David Adom spokesperson with official data on the casualties from the unexploded ordnance explosion in the north: A boy around 14 years old was killed, 2 boys around 14 were seriously injured, 10 people were moderately injured, and 12 people were lightly injured in the explosion at the Ramim Ridge in the north of the country.

I reported nonstop and made thousands of live broadcast and video updates starting on October 7th, until one day, I lost my voice from speaking without a break and in addition, the trauma was so overwhelming, that I couldn’t speak without having to throw up — I had to stop doing live broadcasts for that reason. What has been absolutely disgusting and horrific to watch is how people around the world have been responding to all of this horror. As I am writing this today, nations, governments and individuals are showing their support for Hamas. We can see how the biggest onslaught of Jews since the Nazi Holocaust started a tsunami of hatred towards Israel and the Jewish people. This undeserved hatred is partly based on the false narrative being broadcasted by mainstream media, often being the complicit mouthpieces for Hamas. We should not forget that these terrorists live-streamed their actions for the world to see the atrocities and war crimes they committed on that day which was the biggest massacre ever seen and broadcasted to the world in real time, and yet the world turned their backs against Israel, even with the horrific images shown on videos of rapes, decapitation, mutilation and burning people. It’s still absolutely heartbreaking to recount this horrible nightmare, and yet, on this week of October 7th, pro-Hamas demonstrations were held all over the world, including in New York with crowds chanting 'Allahu Akbar' and 'Long live Hamas.' Breaking News! One person was killed, and several were wounded, some seriously, in an explosion involving an unknown ordnance between Kibbutz Manara and Kibbutz Yiftah in northern Israel on Monday, according to the Israel Police. Students and staff members from the Ort Ma'alot Yeshiva High School were among the victims, according to a statement by the local municipality. This is just heartbreaking, please pray for all the wounded!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been updated on the details of the severe incident in the north and spoke with MDA Director General Eli Bin, Education Minister Yoav Kisch and his Military Secretary. The Prime Minister asked to ensure that the injured are being evacuated as quickly as possible to hospitals and is continuing to hold ongoing assessments.

One person is critically wounded in the explosion in the Ramim ridge area in northern Israel, close to the border with Lebanon, Magen David Adom says. In addition, two are listed in serious condition and another three are moderately hurt, according to MDA. MDA says it is also assessing some 15 others at the scene, who are listed in good condition. Some of them may require hospitalization.

The Ministry of Education stated: “This is an extremely serious incident, and our thoughts are with those affected and their families. The Ministry of Education is currently working in cooperation with the security forces and all relevant professional authorities to provide support to students, educational staff, and their families.”

IDF: Following reports of an explosion in northern Israel, IDF soldiers are at the scene to provide assistance, and Israeli Air Force helicopters are en route. The circumstances of the incident are under review.
