🔺A common misconception is that a positive early bubble study in indicative of an atrial level defect.
🔺This is a nice example of a positive bubble study for a VSD patch leak.
🔺Notice how the bubbles are in the LV almost immediately after the cough [which increases the right sided pressures enough to create the right to left shunt] and not the LA; this typical for a small vsd patch leak and not related to a residual atrial level shunt.
🔺The ASD closure device is well seated.
