Allah سبحانه وتعالى says: وَمَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَهْوٌۭ وَلَعِبٌۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ لَهِىَ ٱلْحَيَوَانُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ “And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter, that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew.” — Sūrat al-ʿAnkabūt 29:64 That is the life indeed. This world is the place of preparation and the Hereafter is the destination. Here is the place of deeds, and there is the place of recompense. Here you can repent; there you will only wish you had repented. Here you can make another sajdah, give another charity, seek forgiveness once more and repair what is between you and Allah. When death arrives, those opportunities come to an end. This is why the believer should never become satisfied with the provisions he has prepared for his journey. THE THREE PILLARS OF WORSHIP The worship of Allah revolves around three pillars: 1. Loving Allah 2. Hoping in Allah 3. Fearing Allah The scholars likened the believer on his journey to Allah to a bird. Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “The heart, in its journey to Allah, is like a bird: love is its head, and fear and hope are its two wings. When the head and the two wings are sound, the bird flies well; but when the head is severed, it dies, and when either wing is lost, it becomes vulnerable to every hunter and predator.” — Madarij al-Sālikīn These three pillars are gathered in Sūrat al-Fātiḥah: Love: ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ “All praise and thanks are Allah’s, the Lord of the ‘Ālamīn.” Love is born from knowing His perfection, recognising His favours and praising Him for His beautiful Names and Attributes. Hope: ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ “The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” When the servant knows the vastness of Allah’s mercy, his heart becomes filled with hope in His forgiveness, His generosity and His reward. Fear: مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ “The Only Owner of the Day of Recompense.” The one who knows that he will stand alone before Allah, and that every deed will be weighed and accounted for, fears that Day and prepares for it. Then Allah gathers the purpose and foundation of the entire religion in one magnificent verse: إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ “You Alone we worship, and You Alone we ask for help.” — Sūrat al-Fātiḥah, 2–5 • “You Alone we worship” is freedom from shirk, showing off, desires and servitude to creation. • “You Alone we ask for help” is freedom from relying upon one’s own strength and ability. We worship none but Allah, and we cannot worship Him except through His help. Allah gathered all the books revealed before the Quran and summarised it in the Quran. And He summarised the Quran in Sūrat al-Fātiḥah. Sūrat al-Fātiḥah is Umm al-Kitāb, the Mother of the Book, and the greatest Sūrah in the Qur’an. And He summarised al-Fātiḥah in this one verse. Its meaning contains the foundation of Tawḥīd, worship, reliance upon Allah, the Hereafter, guidance and the path of those whom Allah has favoured. “You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help in each and every thing.” Allah also described His righteous servants: تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا “Their sides forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope.” — Sūrat al-Sajdah, verse 16 They did not worship Allah with empty claims of love while feeling secure from His punishment. Nor did they worship Him with fear that drove them into despair. They travelled to Allah with a heart full of love and with the two wings of fear and hope. It was said by some of the Salaf: “Whoever worships Allah through love alone is a heretic; whoever worships Him through fear alone is from the Khawārij; whoever worships Him through hope alone is from the Murji’ah; and whoever worships Him through love, fear and hope is a believing Muwahhid.” Do not allow your hope to become a false sense of security while you persist in sin, and do not allow your fear to make you despair in the good mercy of Allah. Allah said: قُلْ يَـٰعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا۟ مِن رَّحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا “Say: O My servants who have transgressed against themselves! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah. Verily, Allah forgives all sins.” — Sūrat al-Zumar, verse 53 And He said: إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَا۟يْـَٔسُ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ “Certainly no one despairs of Allah’s mercy except the people who disbelieve.” — Sūrat Yūsuf, verse 87 The Prophet ﷺ said: “If the believer knew what punishment Allah possesses, no one would hope for His Paradise; and if the disbeliever knew what mercy Allah possesses, no one would despair of His Paradise.” — Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim Love without submission is merely a claim. Hope without obedience is deception. Fear without hope is despair.

🌿 TAWḤĪD — THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH YOU WERE CREATED Allah did not create you merely to live, earn, marry, build a home and then die. You were created for something far greater. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said: ﴿وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ﴾ “And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans, except they should worship Me (Alone).” — Sūrah adh-Dhāriyāt 51:56 This is Tawḥīd. It is the reason the Messengers were sent. It is the reason the Books were revealed. It is the foundation of Islām. It is the first obligation upon the slave, and it is what you want your final words to affirm when you depart this world: لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ But Tawḥīd is not merely a sentence that rolls off the tongue while the heart and actions contradict it. Allah said: ﴿وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ﴾ “And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): ‘Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Tāghūt.’” — Sūrah an-Naḥl 16:36 Look at the message of every Messenger: Worship Allah alone. Stay away from ṭāghūt. There is affirmation and there is negation. You cannot understand Lā ilāha illā Allāh while understanding only one side of it. لَا إِلٰهَ — there is no deity worthy of worship. You reject and negate everything worshipped besides Allah. إِلَّا اللَّهُ — except Allah. You affirm all worship exclusively for Him سبحانه وتعالى. That is why Allah said: ﴿فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ﴾ “Whoever disbelieves in Tāghūt and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break.” — Sūrah al-Baqarah 2:256 So learn your Tawḥīd. Do not allow the most important matter of your entire existence to be the matter you know the least about. Know Who you worship. Know why you worship Him. Know what Lā ilāha illā Allāh demands from you. Your wealth will remain behind. Your home will belong to somebody else. Your position will disappear. Those who praised you will eventually forget you. But the Tawḥīd you lived upon will accompany you into your grave. So make Allah your priority before everything. Correct what is between you and Allah, attach your heart to Him, worship Him alone and prepare for the day when you will stand before Him alone. Because the successful person is not merely the one who lived comfortably. In Islam, we have a principle: Remove evil first, then adorn yourself with good. Takhliyah (purification), then Taḥliyah (adornment). • Takhliyah: cleansing the heart and conduct by removing shirk, sins, and bad character. • Taḥliyah: adorning the heart and conduct with tawḥīd, faith, obedience, and good character. Think of a dirty pot: you would not pour pure food into it and begin cooking while it is still contaminated. You cleanse it first, removing the dirt and impurities, and only then do you fill it with what is pure. Likewise, the foundation of Islam begins with Takhliyah before Taḥliyah — purification before adornment. The heart must first be cleansed of every ṭāghūt, every form of shirk, and everything worshipped besides Allah. You empty it of all false gods and false objects of worship, reject and disbelieve in them, and then you fill that heart with Lā ilāha illa Allāh. You are not a Muslim, you do not attain Islam without this. Majority of the people don’t achieve a complete Islam, you must do this, otherwise you’re not a Muslim. It is not enough to utter it on your tongue alone, you must meet its conditions and criteria. This is contained within the testimony itself: لَا إِلٰهَ — There is no deity worthy of worship: rejection and negation of everything worshipped besides Allah. إِلَّا اللهُ — Except Allah: affirmation that worship belongs to Allah alone. First you remove the falsehood; then you establish the truth. First comes rejection of ṭāghūt, then īmān in Allah. Empty the heart of falsehood, cleanse it from shirk, then adorn it with Tawḥīd: Lā ilāha illa Allāh.

🌿 SUNNAH REMINDER | WHEN YOU RETURN FROM A JOURNEY Kaʿb ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه narrated that when the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم returned from a journey: كَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ بَدَأَ بِالْمَسْجِدِ فَرَكَعَ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ “When he returned from a journey, he would begin with the Masjid and pray two Rakʿah therein.” — Bukhārī & Muslim A forgotten Sunnah! After the long road, the tiredness, the luggage and everything occupying your mind, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم began his return by turning to Allah. Two Rakʿah. Look at the life of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, connected to Allah in every situation. Before travelling, Allah is remembered. During the journey, Allah is remembered. Upon returning, Allah is remembered. This is how a Muslim lives. The Sunnah is not restricted to the Masjid, nor is it something you remember only on Friday or Ramadan. The Sunnah accompanies you in your home, your food, your sleep, your clothing, your travelling, your returning…your entire way of life — that’s Islam. The one who truly loves the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم wants to know even the smallest details of his way so he can follow his footsteps. Look at ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar رضي الله عنهما. He was known for his intense eagerness to follow the footsteps of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم. His following was not restricted to the major acts of worship. He paid attention to the smallest details. It is authentically reported that when travelling, Ibn ʿUmar رضي الله عنهما would seek out the very place where the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم had stopped and rested, and would make his camel kneel there. — Bukhārī That was their love. There approach was the opposite to what we see today e.g., “Do I have to do this?” Or “it’s just a Sunnah.” They wanted to know: “How did the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم do it?” Then they followed. So next time you return from a journey, remember the two Rakʿah. Revive a Sunnah others have forgotten, teach it to your family and children, and earn the reward of following the best man to walk the face of this Earth, the best of Allah’s creation. We have received many beautiful, powerful and deeply moving messages pertaining to Shaykh Musa Jibril’s حفظه الله Ruqyah series, describing remarkable experiences people have had while listening to it. Before releasing this series, Shaykh Musa حفظه الله made a special intention and du‘ā’ for those who would listen to it — asking Allah سبحانه وتعالى to make it a means of complete cure, healing and purification; that Allah cure and heal every person who hears it, removing their affliction completely and leaving no trace of sickness whatsoever. And all cure belongs to Allah alone. The recitation is a means, the Qur’an is a healing, and Ash-Shāfī — the One who ultimately cures — is Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Since the release of the series, we have received numerous testimonies from listeners describing their experiences and the benefit they believe they have received by the permission of Allah. Among them was the incident of a woman who said that the jinn afflicting her accepted Islam and departed from her, by the permission of Allah. And this is not the only testimony of its kind; we have received many messages describing powerful experiences and changes after following the Shaykh’s Ruqyah. The message forwarded above is another such account — regarding a woman who had reportedly suffered for years and sought Ruqyah in many different places without significant relief. Her family describes the remarkable experience she subsequently had after listening to the Shaykh’s Ruqyah. Cure is from Allah alone. Ruqyah is through His Words and what has authentically been prescribed in the Sunnah, and no harm can be removed except by His permission. May Allah accept the sincere du‘ā’ of Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله, reward him immensely for this series, place tremendous barakah within it, and make it a means through which countless Muslims are cured, purified and brought closer to Him. May Allah cure every afflicted Muslim with a complete cure that leaves behind no illness, no harm and no trace of affliction. اللهم رب الناس أذهب البأس، واشف أنت الشافي، لا شفاء إلا شفاؤك، شفاءً لا يغادر سقماً O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and cure, for You are the One who cures. There is no cure except Your cure — a cure that leaves no illness behind. وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الشَّافِي And Allah alone is the One who cures.

FORWARDED MESSAGE: I have an aunt who has been suffering from what the family believes to be sihr (black magic) for a very long time. She is almost 35 years old, and her entire family has also been affected by what they believe to be sihr. There is very little bonding among the family members, and they feel that the barakah in their rizq (provision) has been severely diminished. She has undergone ruqyah in many different places over the past four or five years, but unfortunately, she did not experience any significant benefit. However, about a month and a half ago, I asked her to listen to the Ruqyah I was sending her.(it was Ruqya of shaikh Musa Jibril hafizahullah) I didn’t tell her the Shaykh’s name or give her any information about his identity, because she doesn’t know the Shaykh. hafidhahullah. Over the past week, she began experiencing very strong reactions after listening to the Shaykh’s ruqyah. Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah, during the past two days, she experienced severe vomiting after the ruqyah. She then noticed what appeared to be a lump resembling a ball of dough coming out from her stomach. After the ruqyah session, she fell into a very peaceful and deep sleep. She described feeling an extraordinary sense of relaxation and lightness, as though she had finally been able to rest after many years of hardship. During that sleep, she had a dream in which she saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ alongside an elderly man with a white beard. Both of them were smiling in the dream. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appeared extremely pleased and said to her: “i told you about this very thing a long time ago, but you did not understand.” After this dream, everyone was extremely happy and relieved. Shortly afterward, she woke up. This is the incident as it happened. The strangest part of all is that I had never shown her Shaykh Musa’s identity or photograph. I did not even tell her whose ruqyah she was listening to. After she described the person she had seen in her dream, I showed her a photograph of Shaykh Musa. She immediately burst into tears and said with certainty: “He is the exact person I saw.” ‎

Mawlid, the Night Journey and other celebrations in Islam. There is no celebration for “The night journey (from Makkah to Jerusalem and/or the ascension of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم to the heavens.” Belief in its occurrence is known and is obligatory however there is nothing authentically reported regarding its celebration by the Prophet nor the pious predecessors - our excellent examples. The night journey truly happened, it is mentioned in the two truths - The Quran and the statements of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, the two authentic sources of Islam. Likewise and very similar to the celebration of the mawlid, we know for a fact that the Prophet was born (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family), however, it is not the occurrence that is in question, it is the celebration of the events. We do not have one authentic Hadith regarding its celebration. Furthermore, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم himself never celebrated it and the best people after the Prophet never celebrated his birthday nor the night journey. Whosoever celebrates all this has fallen into innovation. Everything in Islam, every rule in Islam comes from the Quran and Sunnah and must be contingent upon solid evidence(s). This is a rule. Whether it be a name of Allah or an attribute of Allah, or the rules, the laws, acts of worship etc. It must all be contingent upon solid evidence. No one is allowed to introduce to the people any other practice in Islam, right, rule or principle that’s not contingent upon the Quran or Sunnah. If someone does come with something that is not from the Quran and Sunnah then it’s rejected because it’s an innovation, and every innovation is an aberration and every aberration is misguidance and every misguidance is in the hellfire. Islam is complete and has been perfected by Allah. We have two celebrations in this religion: 1) Eid Al Fitr 2) Eid Al Adhaa Whosoever innovates something in this matter of ours is not from us, he will have it rejected. We do not celebrate the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم one day a year, this is the tradition and celebration of the jahil and Islam came to abolish this jahilliyah (ignorance) and foolishness. In Islam we do not celebrate a person one day, rather they are celebrated every day - like the mother, the spouse etc. Likewise with the Prophet, a mercy to mankind, we do not celebrate him one day a year, nor do we celebrate him with innovation, rather we celebrate him every day by obeying him and aligning ourselves with his Sunnah such as to wake up at the last third part of the night and offer prayer as he did until his feet would swell and bleed from standing so long - this is more befitting and a true way of honouring and celebrating the greatest man Allah created. That’s the real celebration for the one who truly seeks to honour the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and not the one who is merely driven by his whims and desires, those who have no sense, they celebrate the ascension of the Prophet whilst denying Allah rose over his divine throne (in a manner befitting His Majesty), making bizarre claims such as “Allah is everywhere.” - Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله https://t.me/LightOfTheTruth
