bro i swear NUS students have evolved past independent thought ๐ญ๐ญ these mfs open ChatGPT before they open Canvas. assignment released at 11:59? GPT. tutorial? GPT. discussion post? GPT. "reflect on your learning journey in 300 words"?? GPT writing about a learning journey it never experienced ๐
walk into CLB and it's just 800 people pretending to "study" while their prompt engineering skills are stronger than their actual engineering skills. half the degree is just figuring out how to phrase "please do my homework but make it sound like a sleep-deprived singaporean undergraduate."
then these same people graduate and wonder why nobody's hiring fresh grads ๐ bro the AI didn't just help you finish your assignment, it learned your entire job while you were busy asking it to "humanise the tone." companies aren't paying five figures a month for someone whose main competitive advantage is knowing to type "don't use em dashes."
the AI revolution is gonna be crazy. every fresh grad's resume gonna say "proficient in Python, SQL, teamwork, leadership" while the interviewer is sitting there with an AI agent that writes better code, explains it better, debugs it faster, and doesn't ask for annual leave. entry-level jobs are disappearing because entry-level work is literally what AI is best at.
congrats, you outsourced four years of learning just in time for the market to outsource your job too. truly a generational speedrun.
