The probability increases when the purge aligns with: • London or New York dealing sessions • Strong displacement creating an FVG • Premium/Discount array alignment • A clear HTF Draw on Liquidity (DOL) Most traders focus on the entry. The real edge is understanding where liquidity is being targeted and when the algorithm is most likely to deliver. Wait for the purge. Wait for the displacement. Wait for the alignment. Because in a sell program, Smart Money needs access to buy stops to efficiently build short positions. Typical bearish sequence: • Identify the draw on liquidity below • Allow price to purge buy-side liquidity above a meaningful high • Watch for strong bearish displacement • Displacement violates a short-term low, signaling a shift in order flow • The displacement creates a Fair Value Gap (FVG) Now the key part most traders miss: Timing.
