Because in a sell program, Smart Money needs access to buy stops to efficiently build short positions. Typical bearish sequence: • Identify the draw on liquidity below • Allow price to purge buy-side liquidity above a meaningful high • Watch for strong bearish displacement • Displacement violates a short-term low, signaling a shift in order flow • The displacement creates a Fair Value Gap (FVG) Now the key part most traders miss: Timing. High-probability setups usually form during algorithmic time windows such as the London or New York session. • Wait for price to retrace into the FVG or its Consequent Encroachment (CE) during a session macro • Execute the short within that imbalance • Invalidation is typically above the liquidity purge high Price model + Time window + Liquidity narrative This is how bearish delivery is engineered within the algorithm.

FROM DRAW ON LIQUIDITY TO BIAS: HOW CONTEXT SHAPES MARKET INTENT A lot of these concepts get discussed in vague terms, which is where confusion starts. Bias and Draw on Liquidity (DOL) are related, but they are not the same thing. The DOL is simply where price is logically expected to go next on a given timeframe. Once that objective is identified, bias is a byproduct of that expectation. Bias should remain intact through retracements. Pullbacks are just temporary shifts in order flow - they don’t automatically invalidate the underlying intent. Order flow itself is nothing more than what price is doing right now, on the same timeframe you’re trading. What gives meaning to all of this is context. That context is built from: -Time of day -Daily and weekly structure -Scheduled news events -Whether price is expanding or correcting When these factors align, they form a clear narrative - one that explains not just where price may go, but when participation actually makes sense.
