Just a theory at this stage, but this absolute aggressive push for Digital ID means they're absolutely preparing for it... and potentially sooner than people thought.
No doubt the worsening economic situation due to the war plays into this theory.
If we have food shortages or price hikes, which we will, there may be incentives for those who take up a digital currency for food.
That part is a theory, but I absolutely expect incentives deployed for a widely unpopular agenda like programmable digital currency.
Again, just a theory... but I'm watching their moves and it seems plausible.
