📖 The purpose of life

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered. Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.
Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."

چند سوال مهم هنوز بدون پاسخ باقی مانده:
- آیا محدودیت فقط مربوط به برگزاری آزمون در ایران است (in Iran) یا برای ملیت ایرانی هم محدودیتی ایجاد خواهد شد؟
- آیا عبارت توقف (paused) نشانه موقتی بودن شرایط است؟
- هزینه آزمون دقیقا به چه میزان و بر چه اساسی برگشت داده (refund) میشود؟
- داوطلبانی که آزمونشان تحت تاثیر قرار گرفته، میتوانند آزمون خود را به کشور دیگری تغییر دهند (reschedule) یا خیر؟
فعلا اطلاعات رسمی ما به همین اطلاعیه ETS محدود میشود و برای پاسخ این سوالات باید منتظر توضیحات بیشتر از طرف ETS باشیم.

| 6 | 🔵 اعتبار نمرهدهی هوش مصنوعی در آزمون تافل (TOEFL)
یکی از سوالات پرتکرار داوطلبان در ماههای اخیر، میزان اعتماد به سیستمهای نمرهدهی مبتنی بر هوش مصنوعی (AI) برای تمرینهای Speaking و Writing است. آیا این نمرات میتوانند جایگزین ارزیابی انسانی شوند؟
🎙 بخش اول: ارزیابی مهارت گفتاری (Speaking)
هوش مصنوعی در تحلیل پارامترهای زیر عملکرد بسیار خوبی دارد و میتواند بازخورد فوری ارائه دهد:
تلفظ (Pronunciation): تشخیص خطاهای آوایی و استرس واژگان.
روانی گفتار (Fluency): محاسبه سرعت بیان و تعداد مکثهای غیرضروری.
دقت گرامری: شناسایی خطاهای ساختاری در جملات.
محدودیتهای اساسی:
هوش مصنوعی هنوز در درک «لحن طبیعی»، «آهنگ گفتار (Intonation)» و «میزان تاثیرگذاریِ بیان» با استانداردهای آزمون تافل فاصله دارد. به همین دلیل، معمولا اختلافی بین ۱ تا ۳ نمره (از ۳۰) با آزمون اصلی مشاهده میشود. برای مثال، نمره ۲۴ هوش مصنوعی میتواند در آزمون واقعی بین ۲۲ تا ۲۶ نوسان داشته باشد.
✍️ بخش دوم: ارزیابی مهارت نوشتاری (Writing)
هوش مصنوعی در تحلیل متنهای آکادمیک بسیار قدرتمند است و در زمینههای زیر عالی عمل میکند:
تنوع واژگان (Lexical Resource): تشخیص سطح و تنوع لغات.
ساختار گرامری: شناسایی خطاهای نحوی و ساختار جملات.
انسجام متن (Cohesion): بررسی استفاده صحیح از ابزارهای اتصالدهنده.
محدودیتهای اساسی:
سازمان ETS (برگزارکننده تافل) از سیستم نمرهدهی جامع (Holistic Scoring) استفاده میکند که هوش مصنوعی در آن ضعف دارد:
توسعه ایدهها (Idea Development): هوش مصنوعی ممکن است محتوای ضعیف را به دلیل گرامر خوب، عالی ارزیابی کند؛ در حالی که ممتحن اصلی بر منطق استدلال تمرکز دارد.
ارتباط با منبع (Integrated Task): هوش مصنوعی در درک عمق ارتباط بین متنِ خواندنی/شنیدنی و پاسخ شما دچار خطاست.
سازماندهی کلی: هوش مصنوعی ساختار پاراگرافبندی را میبیند، اما ممکن است از ضعف منطقی در بدنه بحث چشمپوشی کند.
⭐️ نتیجهگیری نهایی:
هوش مصنوعی را به عنوان یک «تستکننده نهایی» نبینید، بلکه از آن به عنوان یک «ابزار پایش پیشرفت» استفاده کنید.
اگر نمره هوش مصنوعی شما در حال رشد است، به معنای پیشرفت شماست. اما برای رسیدن به نمره ایدهآل (Target Score)، حتما حداقل دو یا سه بار در ماه، رایتینگ و اسپیکینگ خود را برای تصحیح انسانی برای اساتید متخصص ارسال کنید تا نکات ظریفِ «ارتباطی» و «منطقی» که از دید الگوریتمها پنهان میماند، شناسایی و اصلاح شود.

✅ نکات مهم:
- صادق باشید، اما ضعفی انتخاب کنید که قابل بهبود باشد؛
- نقطه ضعفی نگویید که مستقیما شما را برای آن موقعیت نامناسب نشان دهد؛
- روی اقدام و پیشرفت خود تمرکز کنید؛
- نگویید: I have no weaknesses. این پاسخ غیرواقعی به نظر میرسد.
