Proved the Andre-Oort conjecture 3) Jack Thorne: At the University of Cambridge, UK. Works on algebraic number theory and the Langlands program. Known for his work on automorphic representations. 4) John Pardon: At the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics, USA. Works on geometry and topology. Known for proving the 3D case for the Hilbert-Smith conjecture. 5) Yu Deng: At the University of Chicago, USA. Works on partial differential equations. He showed that the Boltzmann fluid equation can be derived from Newton's laws, which is significant progress in solving Hilbert's sixth problem.
