A Roman Curse Tablet(tabellae defixionum) that was made of lead in the Greco-Roman world to ask spirits and or Gods to curse someone for wrongdoing. This particular piece belonged to the Roman Baths found in Bath, England known in Roman times as Aquae Sulis.
In the baths they invoked Sulis Minerva Goddess of hot springs. This is what it says in British Latin.
“May he who carried off Vilbia from me become liquid as the water. May she who so obscenely devoured her become dumb whether Velvinna, Exsupereus, Verianus, Severinus, A(u)gustalis, Comitianus, Catus, Minianus, Germanilla (or) Jovina.
