𝗦𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 Ḥ𝗶𝗷ā𝗯 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗿'ā𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 Ḥ𝗶𝗷ā𝗯? WHAT REALY IS THE Ḥijāb ??? • The ȧyah! يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَٰبِيبِهِنَّۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا "Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to wrap their outer garments (the jilbab) around themselves. That is more suitable so that they will be known as pious women, and not be harassed." (Al-Ahzab 33:59) 🔺THE CONDITIONS OF THE HIJAB🔺 Shaykh al-Albāni; Jilbab al- Mar'ah Muslimah - pg 223 ▫️It should not be an adornment (i.e. it shouldn't be beatified) ▫️It should cover all of the body ▫️It should be loose and not thin ▫️It should not be worn for fame (rather it is to be worn for Allah's sake and seeking His pleasure alone) ▫️It should not be fragranced or perfumed ▫️It should not resemble the clothing of men ▫️It must not look like the clothing of the disbelieving women ▫️It should be thick and not transparent (i.e. one shouldn't be able to see through it) 🔸The Purpose Of The Jilbab🔸 Shaykh Muhammad Nasir ad-Din al-Albānī (رحمة الله عليه رحمة واسعة), said: "The Jilbab was legislated to conceal a woman's beauty; therefore, wearing a stylish one is senseless." [Jilbab Al-Mar'ah Al-Muslimah, pg. 120. Translated By Musa Shaleem Mohammed] Wearing the Jilbab when in the presence of non related men (non-Mahārim) is a command from the commands of Allah. The Jilbab has been made Wajib (obligatory) upon the Muslim woman who has reached the age of puberty -menstruation- just as the prayer (as-Ṣalāh) has been made obligatory. We ask Allah to make the Jilbab easy for the Muslim women to wear and hold firm to. Allāh (‏سبحانه وتعالى) mentioned : يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَنَـٰزَعْتُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا O you who believe! Obey Allâh and obey the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allâh and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), if you believe in Allâh and in the Last Day.
