TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: THURSDAY JULY 30TH 2026 TOPIC: KINGDOM CITIZENSHIP MEMORISE: Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 3:5 BIBLE READING : LUKE 10:25-28 25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. MESSAGE: As Christians, we are all citizens of the Kingdom of God (Philippians 3:20). Citizens of God's Kingdom do not follow the world's standards, no matter how popular or logical they may be. They live each day in honour of God. They have a relationship with Him and are committed to His principles. In return, He grants them eternal life. Before a fellow can become a part of God's great Kingdom, he or she must first become born again, just as Jesus told Nicodemus in today's memory verse. When a person is born again, he or she becomes a child of God–anew creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Anyone who accepts Jesus as his or her Saviour will receive eternal life (John 3:16), and such a person can rest in the knowledge that a great reward awaits him or her in eternity. My dear child, if you are not yet born again, I implore you to surrender your life to Jesus today. Talk to Jesus right now, and tell Him that you accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. Thank Him for providing the grace of forgiveness for your sins. Lastly, acknowledge that you believe in His death, burial, and resurrection, and that you know that they are all a part of God's plan for you. If you've said all these, I welcome you into God's kingdom. KEY POINT: As Christians, we are heaven's citizens, and we should live accordingly on the earth. AUTHOR PASTOR E A ADEBOYE AND PASTOR MRS FOLU ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 7:1-30 JUDGES 1-2 HYMN : 71- AT THE CROSS 1 O Jesus, Lord, thy dying love Hath pierced my contrite heart; Now take my life, and let me prove How dear to me thou art. Refrain: At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart roll’d away, It was there by faith I receiv’d my sight, And now I am happy night and day. 2 Amid the night of sin and death Thy light hath filled my soul; To me Thy loving voice now saith, Thy faith hath made thee whole. 3 I kiss Thy feet, I clasp Thy hand, I touch Thy bleeding side; O let me here forever stand, Where thou wast crucified 4 My Lord, my light, my strength, my all, I count my gain but loss; Forever let Thy love enthrall, And keep me at the cross.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: THURSDAY, JULY 30TH 2026. TOPIC: AVOIDING TEMPTATION MEMORISE Abstain from all appearance of evil. - (1 Thessalonians 5:22) BIBLE READING: james 1:12-16 (KJV) 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. MESSAGE All human beings will face temptations at different points in their lives. Even the Lord Jesus Christ was tempted in all points while he was on the earth (Hebrews 4:15). If the devil could tempt Jesus, then no one is above temptation. Despite this, however, certain temptations can be avoided. James 1:13-15 says, "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." This means that if there is any lust in your life, you must confront and overcome it; otherwise, it can be used to draw you into sin, and sin brings death. To choose life, you must mortify the works of the flesh by the help of the Holy Spirit (Colossians 3:5). However, even as you're mortifying your flesh through the help of the Holy Spirit, you must avoid people, places, and things that may tempt you. For example, if a man knows that he struggles to be faithful with money, he should not accept responsibilities that would put him in charge of other people's money until he has successfully mortified the lust for money through the help of the Holy Spirit. Beloved, temptation is like a bird; it can fly over your head, and you may be unable to stop it from doing so. However, you can prevent it from building a nest on your head. If you let it build a nest on your head, then it is only a matter of time before your head is filled with its poop. This is why it is better to walk away from situations or things that can tempt you, because when you give in to temptation, you might soon realise that it has taken over your life. At a time when some pastors under my watch had motorcycles, I forbade them from carrying ladies on their bikes. This is because the close physical contact that occurs during such motorcycle rides might sow a seed in both of their hearts that may germinate into something dangerous in the future. Today's memory verse instructs us to flee every appearance of evil. Child of God, immediately you sense any form of temptation around you, flee! KEY POINT Flee every appearance of evil! AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR Isaiah 53 - 56 HYMN 31: YIELD NOT TO TEMPTATION 1. Yield not to temptation, For yielding is sin; Each victory will help you Some other to win; Fight manfully onward, Dark passions subdue; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through. Refrain: Ask the Saviour to help you, Comfort, strengthen, and keep you; He is willing to aid you, He will carry you through. 2. Shun evil companions, Bad language disdain; God’s name hold in reverence, Nor take it in vain; Be thoughtful and earnest, Kindhearted and true; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through. 3. To him that o’ercometh God giveth a crown, Through faith we shall conquer, Though often cast down; He who is our Saviour Our strength will renew; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.

TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: WEDNESDAYJULY 29TH 2025 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT? MEMORISE: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 BIBLE READING: 2 KINGS 2:9 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. MESSAGE: If you have an opportunity to meet God face to face today and He asks you what you want, would you know what to say? In today's Bible reading, Elijah asked Elisha what he wanted. Elisha requesteda double portion of Elijah's anointing, and he got it. He asked and got what he wanted because he knew what he wanted beforehand. Years ago, I attended an international Conference where a mightų man of God allowed us to ask for what we wanted for our ministries. Others asked for books, tracts, and financial assistance, but I asked him to lay his anointed hands on me for the work of the ministry. He was impressed with my request, and he prayed for me. Today, everyone can testify to the faithfulness of God in RCCG. My dear child, I encourage you to dedicate more time in prayer to ask God what His purpose for your life is. It is only when you know His purpose for your life that you can align your wants and requests with His will and fulfil your destiny. REFLECTION: What do you desire the most from God? AUTHOR PASTOR E A ADEBOYE AND PASTOR MRS FOLU ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 7:31-50, JUDGES 3-5 HYMN 15: PASS ME NOT, O GENTLE SAVIOUR 1 Pass me not, O gentle Saviour, Hear my humble cry; While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. REFRAIN: Saviour, Saviour, Hear my humble cry; While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. 2 Let me, at Thy throne of mercy Find a sweet relief; Kneeling there in deep contrition, Help my unbelief. 3 Trusting only in Thy merit Would I seek Thy face Heal my wounded, broken spirit, Save me by Thy grace. 4 Thou, the spring of all my comfort, More than life to me. Whom have I on earth beside Thee? Whom in heav'n but Thee?

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: WEDNESDAY JULY 29TH 2026 TOPIC: THE LAKE OF FIRE MEMORIZE: "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15 (KJV) BIBLE READING: REVELATION 21:8, 21:26-27 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life. MESSAGE: I was shocked when I heard someone say several years ago that he was preparing to go to hell. He even said that he wanted to take my Father in the Lord, me, and one other person along with him. The most shocking thing was that the individual who made that statement was a senior minister in the church at that time. Today’s Bible reading lists the types of people who are already preparing to make the lake of fire their home. These people probably know God and have seen His mighty works at different times; however, they still choose to live a lifestyle that opposes His ways. I may not be able to talk about each of the types of people elaborately here, but I will comment on some of them below. There are people who are too afraid to bear God’s name; therefore, they deny Him before men. In Matthew 10:33. Jesus said that He will also deny such people in the presence of His Father. There are also those who refer to themselves as atheists. They claim not to believe that God exists, whereas it is untrue because they know deep within themselves that He exists. He calls out to them every now and then, and they can feel Him reaching out to them. However, they choose not to believe in Him. They don’t even want to hear God’s word or study it because they just don’t want to believe. There are also those who do abominable things, those who murder, and those who are sexually immoral. All such people who have chosen such lifestyles will go to hell if they refuse to repent. Regardless of how saintly they may appear, their final home is in the lake of fire. Likewise, those who outrightly serve the devil, such as witches and wizards, cultists, and those who belong to associations that engage in evil acts, will also end up in the lake of fire. Lastly, liars will also suffer the same fate and end up in the lake of fire. Beloved, I want you to honestly evaluate your life. If you discover that you fall into any of the categories of people listed in today’s Bible reading, I urge you to repent now and change your lifestyle because the lake of fire is a place of unending sorrow. I pray that when Jesus comes back to the earth, you and I will enter into paradise with Him, in Jesus’ name. KEY POINT: Do everything to ensure that you do not end up in the lake of fire. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: ISAIAH 50-52 HYMN 28: GUIDE ME, O THOU GREAT JEHOVAH 1. Guide me, O thou great Jehovah, Pilgrim through this barren land; I am weak, but thou art mighty; Hold me with thy powerful hand: Bread of heaven! Bread of heaven! Feed me till I want no more; Feed me till I want no more. 2. Open thou the crystal fountain, Whence the healing stream doth flow; Let the fire, cloudy pillar Lead me all my journey through: Strong Deliverer! Strong Deliverer! Be thou still my strength and shield, Be thou still my strength and shield. 3. If I tread the verge of Jordan, Bid my anxious fears subside; Bear me through the swelling Torrent, Land me safe on Canaan’s side: Songs of praises! Songs of praises! I will ever give to thee, I will ever give to thee. 4. Saviour, come! we long to see Thee, Long to dwell with Thee above, And to know in full communion All the sweetness of Thy love. Come, Lord Jesus, come, Lord Jesus! Take Thy waiting people home, Take Thy waiting people home.

21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon. MESSAGE: Today's Bible reading tells us of three young men who stood by their principles and held on to their integritų even when they knew it could cost them their lives. In Daniel 3:1-7, the Bible tells us that King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden idol and commanded his subjects to bow and worship before it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew very well that they should only bow to and worship the God of Israel, so they quietly refused Nebuchadnezzar's command. When the king heard about the young men's refusal to bow to his idol, he commanded his soldiers to throw them into the fiery burning furnace. He then asked, “And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?" (Daniel 3:15). However, before the end of that day Nebuchadnezzar came to the knowledge of the one true God who is able to save His children even from a fiery burning furnace. My dear child, if you are true and faithful to Biblical principles and are committed to a life of honesty and integrity in honour of God, then no challenge or situation will eve be able to overcome you. KEY POINT: No matter the opposition you face, stay faithful to God's principles. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: HYMN 1 - ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS' NAME 1 All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all! 2 O seed of Israel's chosen race now ransomed from the fall, hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all. Hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all! 3 Let every tongue and every tribe responsive to his call, to him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all. To him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all! 4 Oh, that with all the sacred throng we at his feet may fall! We'll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all. We'll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all.

TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: TUESDAY JULY 28TH 2026 TOPIC: NEVER COMPROMISE MEMORISE: But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up." Daniel 3:18 BIBLE READING: DANIEL 3:1-30 1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. 9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. 10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: 11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king. 14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? 15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
