4- What is this disastrous downfall? What is this grave mistake of surrendering sovereignty to the israeli enemy?
Netanyahu is allowing the Lebanese Army to be deployed in two pilot areas! The enemy monitors its deployment and the steps taken toward disarmament, while the Tripartite Committee follows up on the enemy's demands. The pilot phase in the two areas may last for months, and no transition to another phase will take place except upon receiving a certificate of good conduct from the israeli enemy, and after carrying out what israel failed to achieve on the battlefield!
As Netanyahu said: "israel will remain in the security belt until Hezbollah is disarmed in Lebanon, and the residents will not return to the occupied area."
The authorities are legitimizing the continuation of the occupation for many years, and this could even lead to the annexation of these territories to the zionist entity! This is an agreement that deprives the Lebanese people of returning to their land.
What does the israeli enemy have to do with our internal affairs in Lebanon? Any agreement must be confined exclusively to the area south of the Litani River and must have no connection whatsoever with any Lebanese internal matter concerning weapons, security, or the future of the country.
Linking the israeli withdrawal to the disarmament of the Resistance throughout all of Lebanon is an extremely dangerous proposal that crosses every red line and turns Lebanon into a plaything in the hands of the israeli enemy!!
Under the pretext that Lebanon must fulfill its commitment to disarm in order for israel to withdraw from Lebanon, the existence of any weapon anywhere in Lebanon would be deemed evidence that Lebanon has failed to fulfill its commitment. Yet the weapons will certainly not be surrendered, and no one has the right to deprive the Lebanese people of their right to defend themselves and their land against the occupier of our land and the killer of our people.
The enemy must withdraw because it is an aggressor and an occupier, through an agreement that addresses the direct causes, as was the case on 27/11/2024. Any departure from that framework constitutes a reward for israel after the defeat of its project, and a relinquishment of Lebanon's sovereignty.
5- The Framework Agreement in Washington is one of humiliation, disgrace, and surrender of sovereignty. This agreement is null and void, and the provisions of the Iranian-American Memorandum of Understanding must be implemented.
We will continue, through all necessary means and through international and Arab pressure, until the israeli enemy complies with the first provision of the Memorandum of Understanding and withdraws from Lebanon.
And we say to the Lebanese authorities: It is time for you to reverse your grave mistakes that are destroying Lebanon. Such a step would be a virtue recorded in your favor after your sins. We stand ready to cooperate and stand together for the sovereignty of Lebanon, the liberation of its land, the expulsion of the israeli occupier, the return of the prisoners, the return of the residents, reconstruction, rebuilding the country, and reaching an understanding on a national security strategy.
The ceasefire would never have been achieved were it not for the great sacrifices of the Resistance fighters, their families, and the Lebanese people. We will preserve the trust of the martyrs, the wounded, the captives, the sacrifices of the people of the land, the Lebanese Army, and the sacrifices of all the bodies and institutions that offered martyrs and wounded. We will continue as a Resistance on the battlefield to expel the occupation. We did not abandon the battlefield under the most difficult circumstances, and we will never abandon it, for this is the path of goodness and salvation. | 239 |
| 17 | Statement by Hezbollah Secretary-General his eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem on the Framework Agreement between the Lebanese Authorities and the zionist enemy entity (1/2):
1- Where is the Lebanese authorities' sense of responsibility and their duty toward their people and the protection of Lebanon's sovereignty, when their American patron failed to secure a ceasefire for them? Then, when the ceasefire came to them through the Pakistan talks between the United States and Iran in April 2026, they rejected it, prompting the israeli enemy to commit the crime of Black Wednesday, during which hundreds were killed and wounded, people were terrorized, and destruction was inflicted through one hundred airstrikes carried out across Lebanon, beginning with the capital, Beirut.
2- We told the authorities that direct negotiations are nothing but pure, gratuitous concessions to israel, because they are meetings for imposing submission to the demands of the aggression and to the israeli-American dictates in their entirety. You are going to these negotiations while in dispute and disagreement with more than half of the Lebanese people, and contrary to the Constitution and the laws that regard the israeli entity as an enemy and judicially prosecute anyone who deals with it, whether by word or deed.
Nor do you possess any leverage with which to confront them, because you voluntarily abandoned the strength of the Resistance and the people, and stabbed the Resistance in the back by considering it outside the law in the midst of the war, from its very first moment, through the government's ill-fated decision of March 2, thereby serving the israeli aggressive project.
Playing with words and interpreting them contrary to their true meaning serves no purpose; the results are the true measure. This constitutes a relinquishment of Lebanon's sovereignty, by the assessment of both friend and foe.
3- Then came the Iranian-American Memorandum of Understanding, which placed the cessation of the war on Lebanon as its first provision. When the israeli enemy refused to comply with it, Iran suspended the agreement and continued closing the Strait of Hormuz until the United States exerted pressure and compelled the israeli enemy to cease fire.
The first clause of the Memorandum of Understanding states:
"The United States, Iran, and their allies in the ongoing war, through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, declare an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, and undertake, from this point forward, not to initiate any war or military operation against one another, to refrain from threatening or using force against one another, and to guarantee the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon."
According to the third clause of the Memorandum, negotiations and the conclusion of a final agreement are to take place within sixty days.
The authorities rejected it once again until reasonable voices and those involved in the Memorandum of Understanding made them understand that the ceasefire would indeed take effect, which was something you had failed to obtain and that it served Lebanon's interest, and that negotiations over the israeli withdrawal belong to Lebanon alone, and that no one negotiates on its behalf.
This is a gift of honor, dignity, and strength from steadfast and proud Iran to Lebanon, its people, and its Resistance.
The Memorandum of Understanding guarantees "the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon," and sovereignty is achieved through the complete israeli withdrawal, to be agreed upon within sixty days. This is a source of strength in Lebanon's hands that it had never dreamed of possessing.
Yet the authorities, through the Framework Agreement, abandoned the sources of strength contained in the Memorandum of Understanding, abandoned the strength of the Resistance, its steadfastness, and the sacrifices of this great Lebanese people, and gave israeli, free of charge, what it wanted. | 202 |

Under the pretext of preventing the passage of a vessel allegedly violating regulations through an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz, it carried out an airstrike on the shores of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In response to this aggression, the IRGC Navy targeted positions where the U.S. military is stationed in the region.
According to Article 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, arrangements for controlling transit through the Strait of Hormuz are the responsibility of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
