Opponents call it a scheme to target Orbán. In Alberta, history is no longer part of the mandatory curriculum. Children are being left without understanding how difficult civilization is to build and how quickly it can fall into chaos. “Most students never study history in a coherent or sequential way.” “Here in Alberta, history’s not part of the mandatory curriculum.” “It’s never systematic.
