The Battle of Adwa has been included in Burkina Faso’s education system‼️ Burkina Faso’s education system has revised its history curriculum, and the Battle of Adwa has been included in students’ textbooks as part of the revision. The Battle of Adwa has been widely included in school textbooks to showcase the great anti-colonial struggle and identity of Africans. It has removed the controversial term “invaders” from the European colonialists and replaced them with “invaders.” Burkina Faso, led by Ibrahim Traore, has made this reform in order to decolonize its education system and make the younger generation proud of its own history and understand African unity, history, heroism, and Pan-Africanism. ©cdrafrica join&share @AAU_General
