Subject: Request to Include D.Pharmacy Candidates as Eligible Candidates for the RRB Pharmacist Recruitment एक्सामिनेशन
(CEN NO. 05/2026 paramedical categorise )
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to respectfully request your kind consideration regarding the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post of Pharmacist under the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
As per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the recruitment notification, candidates possessing B.Pharmacy qualification are eligible for the Pharmacist post, whereas candidates possessing Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) qualification are not being considered eligible.
This exclusion requires reconsideration for the following reasons:
1. D.Pharm is a recognized professional qualification in Pharmacy, and D.Pharm candidates are trained specifically in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice.
2. Both D.Pharm and B.Pharm qualified candidates can be registered pharmacists with the respective State Pharmacy Council, subject to fulfillment of the applicable statutory requirements.
3. D.Pharm and B.Pharm students study several common fundamental subjects related to pharmacy, including Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Hospital/Clinical Pharmacy and related pharmaceutical subjects.
4. The duties of a pharmacist in a healthcare institution primarily involve dispensing, storage and handling of medicines, maintaining records, assisting in pharmaceutical services and ensuring safe use of medicines. D.Pharm-qualified registered pharmacists are professionally trained in these areas.
5. D.Pharm is a long-established qualification recognized under the regulatory framework governing the pharmacy profession in India. Therefore, excluding D.Pharm-qualified registered pharmacists from consideration for the Pharmacist recruitment requires a clear and reasonable justification based on the actual duties and requirements of the post.
6. A large number of qualified D.Pharm students and registered pharmacists across India aspire to serve in Government healthcare institutions, including the Indian Railways. Their exclusion from the recruitment process substantially limits their employment opportunities despite possessing a recognized pharmacy qualification.
Our Humble Request
We therefore respectfully request the Railway Recruitment Board and the competent authorities of the Ministry of Railways to kindly:
1. Reconsider the existing eligibility criteria for the RRB Pharmacist post.
2. Include candidates possessing a recognized Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), along with the required Pharmacy Council registration, as eligible candidates for the Pharmacist examination.
3. Alternatively, kindly constitute an expert committee to examine the qualification, syllabus, professional training and duties of D.Pharm and B.Pharm candidates and reconsider the eligibility criteria accordingly.
We believe that providing an opportunity to eligible D.Pharm candidates to participate in the examination would ensure a fair, inclusive and merit-based recruitment process, while allowing the RRB to select candidates on the basis of their performance in the competitive examination.
We sincerely request the competent authority to consider this representation sympathetically and take appropriate action in the interest of thousands of D.Pharm students and registered pharmacists across the country.

यांना विद्यार्थ्यांचे काही देणं घेणं नाही यांना कोणाची रसद आहे कोण यांना हे करायला सांगत आहे
👉आपण या लढ्यामध्ये प्रत्येक जणाला सांगून सर्व गोष्टी करत होतो
पेपर फुटी बाहेर आली....
पण अध्यक्ष सचिवाचा राजीनामा साठी अजून ऋषिकेश लढत आहे
त्याला फूट पाडण्याचा पहिला डाव सुरू झाला आहे
एका जणाला मॅनेज करून आमचेविरुद्ध उभं केलं आहे आज हे कळालं आहे
हे प्रत्येक आंदोलनात होतं आणि ते अपेक्षित होतच आज ना उद्या
ते आज घडलं आहे
ऋषिकेश गांगुर्डे नितेश सूर्यवंशी यांच्या पेक्षाही विद्यार्थी महत्त्वाच्या आहेत पण काही लोकांना हे जमत नाही
विद्यार्थ्यांच्या लढायला तुम्ही मॅनेज करू शकत नाहीत.....

लगेच दुसऱ्या दिवशी आम्ही राज्यपाल महोदयांना पण राजीनामेसाठी भेटलो...
