Repost from Sheikh Sālih As-Sindi (English)
The Nucleus of the spread of the Ḥouthis (Anṣār Allāh)

| 2 | Someone asked the Shaykh:
“May Allah reward you with goodness. We find the author’s statement confusing: ‘Turning away from the religion of Allah Most High, such that one neither learns it nor acts upon it.’
Does this include the ordinary Muslims today who do not understand Islamic knowledge or act upon it, but who learned Tawheed (Islamic monotheism) from childhood and have practiced it?”
The Shaykh, may Allah preserve him, replied:
“These people are not included, because they are either unable to learn or are negligent in seeking knowledge. They are Muslims and believers, and they worship Allah.
They are not like the one who turns away from the religion. The one who turns away is the person who has no desire for knowledge and no desire for the religion. That is the one who turns away.”

| 4 | Sheikh Sālih Al-Fawzān حفظه الله said:
And there is a person who does not learn because of laziness. This person does not become a disbeliever, but he is blamed for his laziness.
However, if a person abandons the pursuit of knowledge because he has no desire for it, this is turning away from knowledge and neglecting one’s duty towards Allah. This is the kind of attitude that constitutes disbelief.
But if a person desires knowledge, loves it, and yet is lazy about seeking it because the pursuit of knowledge is difficult, requires patience, demands endurance, and necessitates sitting for long periods, then he is lazy. Such a person is blamed for his laziness and negligence, but he does not reach the level of disbelief.
[17] Turning away from knowledge in a way that indicates a lack of desire for it, or hatred of knowledge, is disbelief and neglect of one’s duty towards Allah.

| 9 | ❌ PAY ATTENTION TO THIS PHRASE: “THE REST IS UP TO ALLĀH ”
Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked:
“What is the ruling on the statement: ‘I have done my utmost, and the rest is up to Allah’?”
He replied:
“This statement is not appropriate, because it implies that the person relied on himself first.
✅ Rather, the correct statement is:
‘I have done my best, and I ask Allah for help.’
🍂 As for the expression, ‘I have done my best, and the rest is up to Allah,’ the person may intend the meaning I have just mentioned—that is, ‘I have done all that I am capable of doing, and whatever is beyond my ability is left to Allah.’
However, the wording itself is incorrect. Instead, one should say:
‘I have done my best, and I ask Allah for help.’
— \A Fatwā of Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn, may Allah have mercy on him, published in Al-Hisbah magazine, issue no. 50, p. 17.
I say:
A brief observation: Linguistically, it is better to avoid this phrase, because the word “upon” can sometimes imply an obligation or a right that one expects another to fulfil. Therefore, saying “the rest is upon Allah” may give the wrong impression, even if that is not what the speaker intends. It is better to say, “I have done my best, and I ask Allah for help.” Just like the scholars mentioned. And Allah knows best.

| 12 | AFRAID TO SPEAK IN FRONT OF A CROWD
Question ❓
The questioner says: “I am a student of knowledge, but I am unable to speak in front of an audience, and I suffer from fear. What is the remedy?”
Answer by Sheikh 'Abdul-'Azīz Ar-Rayyis حفظه الله
A student of knowledge being unable to face people deprives him of many opportunities to do good by teaching people, spreading knowledge, and conveying guidance. This problem has a remedy, and among the remedies, Allah knows best, are the following:
First: Supplication (duʿāʾ). Supplication is a tremendous means of attaining every kind of good.
Second: Striving against oneself to become accustomed to facing people. This can be done by delivering sermons and short talks and spreading goodness among gatherings of people. Indeed, striving against oneself is a tremendous means of attaining what one seeks, as Allah, the Most High, says:
“As for those who strive hard for Us, We will surely guide them to Our ways.” \[Al-ʿAnkabūt 29:69\]
Therefore, one must strive against oneself.
Third: Becoming accustomed to delivering talks and sermons in small gatherings and in front of people one does not know. When a person becomes accustomed to speaking in such small gatherings and before people he does not know, he will gradually become accustomed to addressing larger gatherings and audiences beyond them.
Fourth: Not exaggerating the fear of making mistakes. Excessive fear of making mistakes prevents a person from doing much good.
Suppose a student of knowledge stands up to speak about something good but makes a mistake. The matter is simple. If his mistake concerns explaining something about the religion of Allah, he should clarify the matter to the people. However, if his mistake is unrelated to that—for example, he makes an error in his wording or speaking style—then this is not harmful.
He should train himself not to regard mistakes as something terribly serious. Exaggerating the seriousness of mistakes often causes a person to become afraid of delivering sermons and talks and of addressing people with goodness.
I ask Allah to help us, you, him, and all the Muslims to do good.

No, by Allāh!!
It's giving preference to what pleases Allāh, but the problem is because of how popular this has become today.

| 19 | ﷽
Over time, I have received quite a number of messages from people asking me how I create my videos, produce my audios, design my content, and go about the different things I share online.
Some have asked about the tools I use, others about my methods, and some have expressed a desire to learn how I do these things.
I have received these requests on several occasions, and I have finally decided to respond to them by creating this channel.
Welcome to The Salafi Creator.
This is where, in shā’ Allāh, I intend to share how I create my content, the tools and systems I work with, the lessons I have learnt, and the processes behind some of my projects.
I also intend to organise educational programs, teach those who are interested in learning, share my work, and make myself available for suitable creative projects, in shā’ Allāh.
Rather than answering similar questions individually, I hope this channel will serve as a place where I can share these things with everyone who is interested.
May Allah place barakah in this effort and make it beneficial.

| 20 | What's happening in YEMEN 🇾🇪?
In the ongoing events of Yemen, a war is taking place between the people of Islām and Tawḥīd against transgressors from the people of innovations and Shirk known as the Ḥouthis, who have committed and continue to commit various atrocities. I list a few of their [recent, undeniable ones] here—and I emphasize that they are undeniable deliberately, because many are so stubborn they will try to deny things that are clearer than the sun:
* Attacking Makkah: Specifically targeting the vicinity of the Sacred Mosque, which bears a clear resemblance to the action of Abraha, about whom Allāh revealed an entire Surah describing his destruction and that of his companions.
* Attacking Madīnah: They attacked Madīnah and planned to cause harm to the Mosque of the Prophet, but Allāh ruined their plan. As the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) warned regarding the severe punishment for such transgressions:
"Whoever intends to do harm to the people of Madīnah, Allāh will melt him like salt melting in water."
* The Siege of Dammāj: They attacked Dammāj, targeting the people of Allāh, the students of knowledge, and the memorizers of the Qurʾān. They placed them under a severe siege (ḥiṣār) for months, drove them from their homes, and killed them, including innocent children, women, scholars and even foreign students of knowledge.
* General Atrocities: This is something known to every citizen of Yemen—their endless crimes ranging from killing Muslims, exploding bombs in mosques, and seizing mosques from the people, to the killing of children and various other evils.
Their atrocities cannot be counted in one day, let alone in one sitting, not to speak of this concise write-up.
This is just a little compared to their ruined creed (ʿAqīdah). It is truly ruined. I am going to write another piece soon detailing who they really are, and who is truly fighting against them. But this write-up is simply to let people know what is actually happening on the ground.
Unto those who are still going to find a fault in this—despite how concise it is, how true it is, and how known and clear it is to everyone—I have nothing else to say to you than this line of poetry:
قد تنكر العين ضوء الشمس من رمد
وينكر الفم طعم الماء من سقم
Meaning: (Find it yourself, because I know most of you who'll find a fault in this don't even understand Arabic. May Allāh guide us and you.)
