📢Update | Pakistan Seeks Canada's Support on Indus Waters Treaty (IWT): During her visit to Pakistan yesterday, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand held separate meetings with Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Pakistan Military, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and DPM & Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. In his meeting with Anita Anand, Ishaq Dar raised several issues, including: - The security situation in Afghanistan - Jammu & Kashmir - Abeyance of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) following the Pahalgam terror attack ⭕Pakistan also urged Canada to support the restoration of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) and seek external backing following India's decision to keep the treaty in abeyance.
