قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله: Shaykh Sulayman ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: برنامج المرأة المسلمة هو برنامج الرجل. • The program of a Muslim woman is the same as that of a man. لكن المرأة المسلمة تزيد على الرجل بعبادة في رمضان. • However, the Muslim woman surpasses the man in an act of worship during Ramadan. وهي أن المرأة إذا اجتهدت في خدمة زوجها وأهل بيتها وأعدت لهم الطعام الذي يكفيهم فإنها في عبادة، وفيه تكثير لحسناتها - إذا احتسبت ذلك عند الله. • That is, when a woman strives in serving her husband and her household and prepares for them the food that suffices them, she is in a state of worship, and this increases her good deeds—if she seeks reward for it from Allah. وينبغي للمرأة المسلمة إذا كانت تعد الطعام أن تشغل لسانها بذكر الله، فتطبخ وهي تسبح وتهلل، ولها في ذلك أجر عظيم. • It is befitting for the Muslim woman, while preparing food, to engage her tongue in the remembrance of Allah—to cook while glorifying and declaring His oneness—for she will have a great reward in doing so. ولن يصرفها إعداد الطعام عن عبادة ربها سبحانه في نهار رمضان. • Preparing food will not distract her from worshipping her Lord, Exalted is He, during the daytime of Ramadan. محاضرة: بين يدي رمضان Lecture: Before Ramadan https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله: Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: أيها المسلم والمسلمة، وأنت تسارع في الخيرات في شهر الخيرات، وأنت تتقرب إلى الله بعبادة قلبية أو قولية أو عملية، تذكر قول ربك سبحانه وتعالى: • O Muslim man and woman, as you hasten toward good deeds in the month of goodness, and as you draw closer to Allah through acts of worship—whether of the heart, the tongue, or the limbs—remember the saying of your Lord, Exalted and Glorified: ﴿ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٖ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ﴾ “And whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: في رمضان مرحوم ومحروم: • In Ramadan, there is one who is granted mercy and one who is deprived. المرحوم من سمع ياباغي الخير أقبل ، وأن لله عتقاء من النار في كل ليلة ، وأن أبواب الجنة تفتح ، وأن فيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر فتحرك قلبه ، ولان للصالحات جسده فصان صيامه وأحسن قيامه إيمانا واحتسابا واجتهد في طاعة مولاه ، وكلما نقص شهره زاد اجتهاده. • The one granted mercy is he who hears: “O seeker of good, come forward” and that “Indeed, Allah has those whom He frees from the Fire every night,” and that “The gates of Paradise are opened,” and that “There is in it a night better than a thousand months,” so his heart is moved, and his body softens for righteous deeds. He safeguards his fast, perfects his night prayer with iman and anticipation of reward, and strives in the obedience of his Lord. And the less remains of the month, the more he increases in striving. والمحروم من سمع ذلك فلم يتحرك قلبه ولم يلن جسده ، ولم يغير من حاله فحُرم ، أو اجتهد في أول شهره ثم أصابه الفتور وترك الاجتهاد في الطاعات ، وأشد حرمانا منه من اشتغل في شهر الخيرات بالمحرمات ، فلم يجب ياباغي الخير أقبل ولا ياباغي الشر أقصر. • And the deprived one is he who hears all of that, yet his heart is not moved, nor does his body soften, nor does he change his state—so he is deprived. Or he may have exerted effort at the beginning of the month, but then slackened and abandoned striving in acts of obedience. And even more deprived than him is the one who busies himself in this month of goodness with prohibitions, neither responding to “O seeker of good, come forward” nor to “O seeker of evil, desist” فيا أخي ويا أختاه من أي الفريقين أنت في شهر رمضان هذا العام ؟ • So, my brother and my sister, in which of the two groups are you this Ramadan? إن كنت في دائرة المرحومين فاعلم أن الفضل لله ، واثبت ، وازدد اجتهادا في آخر شهرك ، وإن كانت الأخرى فبادر إلى إخراج نفسك من دائرة المحرومين إلى دائرة المرحومين وأبشر بالخير من الله. • If you are among those granted mercy, then know that the bounty is from Allah—so remain steadfast and increase in striving in the last part of your month.
