The market dropped today due to a few reasons: - US jobs data came in positive, causing a bond yield spike. - The ISM index came in higher than expected - The JOLTS job openings increased - China "HMPV" outbreak causing panic internationally as some are comparing it to Covid Positive jobs data is bearish short-term because it lowers the Fed's chance of cutting rates in the future. We have the next FOMC meeting Jan 31st which will tell us a lot. During times like these, you want to be patient and not rush to overtrade. Wait for opportunities to come to you and bet accordingly.

Current Market Update - Tether is getting delisted from EU exchanges today due to the upcoming MiCA regulations but I wouldn't pay much attention to this. Tether has $143B AUM (assets under management), a top 20 holder of US treasuries (more than all but 18 countries), and it's banked by Cantor Fitzgerald (whose CEO is future Commerce Secretary of the US). Don't fall for the FUD. It's also historically marked a bottom in the market. - I'm also starting to notice ETH outperforming BTC here which lines up with other metrics I've seen (historically ETHBTC bottoms in December, based on the 2020 cycle) - ETH inflows have also been positive for 4 days in a row while BTC has only been positive 1out of 4 days - ETHBTC is also bouncing off of support on the weekly with the RSI bouncing off of the signal line - When ETH rallies, alt season begins The next few weeks are going to be very exciting (FTX refunds start Jan 3rd), so just survive the rest of this volatility before up-only restarts.
