Something for us to ponder upon - food for thought. A day is 24 hours, and let’s say: 1️⃣ We sleep for 8 hours 2️⃣ Work/education take 8/10hrs (prep, travel etc) 3️⃣ How do we spend the other 6/8 hours? How many times do we use the excuse of being busy? ⏹️ The 5 prayers may take around 1hr What do you do with the other 5/7hrs? ⏹️ If a day passes you and you haven’t read anything from the Qurān, what were you doing? A week has 168 hours: ⏹️ Sleep: 7 X 8 = 56 - A third of the week spent on sleep. ⏹️ Work/education: 5 X 8 = 40 or 5 X 10 = 50 Ask yourself how much of the remaining 52/62hrs do you spend on seeking nearness to Allāh? If we were to sit and ponder upon this, we will find that ‘I’m busy’ is not correct.
