Tons of changes were made to the @ProjectInfinityX v4.1 (Android 17) source today to fix root and custom rom detection issues in various banking and other security-sensitive apps. Apps that previously refused logins or had other issues on the rom are now working perfectly by default without any extra effort or external modules! Tested apps: - GPay (including Tap to Pay) - Paytm - BHIM - Navi UPI - PhonePe These robust improvements are also expected to resolve detection issues in other apps that previously flagged the rom or prevented users from logging in or using their services.

Fixes for Play Integrity issues due to Google's recent server-side patches (which left the user with only basic integrity), have been pushed to the v4.1 (Android 17 source). Please expect Play Integrity issues to be resolved in v4.1 builds released after October 20, 2026. Thank you for your patience (which no one actually had, but still).

It's honestly so tiring for me to create new banners for every new monthly release 😭 I don't usually ask community people/designers for help because most of the submissions nowadays are AI-generated or have a cartoonish/anime style. And I feel really guilty rejecting someone's work, knowing they might have spent an hour making it. 🥲 So, instead putting myself in that position, I just end up making the banner myself. 😓 But is it really necessary to have a new banner for every release, or would it be fine to use one generic banner for all future releases? New changes/additions are made to the @ProjectInfinityX rom source almost every day, but only the combined changelog along with author credits for the entire month is posted when a new version is released. If you want to check the live, date-wise changelog of changes made to the rom source, you can find it here: https://projectinfinity-x.com/changelog Whenever a change is pushed to the rom source, I will mention it here immediately. So, if you see a change mentioned here, it means that it has already been pushed to the rom source.

All the Launcher3 features from v3.12 (Android 16) have been ported to @ProjectInfinityX Android 17. So after InfinitySuite, now the Launcher3 in Android 17 releases is feature complete too. Good night 😴

All features from @ProjectInfinityX's Android 16 Infinity Suite have been fully restored in v4.0 (Android 17), and there are no remaining leftovers. Restored features include: - Lockscreen clock styles and widgets - Depth wallpaper - Classic tile icon size / row spacing - Ambient features (Pulse, Edge Lighting, Music Ticker, AOD Image, etc.) I’ll push the changes to the source tomorrow after completing testing.

However, I feel that a lot of irrelevant messages also take place there, which sometimes overshadows actual bug reports and causes real user-reported issues to get missed. I'll do my best to bring those back too by October. For now, the initial source release is marked as Beta so that I can gather valuable feedback from the community about any issues I might have missed during my testing. Moreover, Guys, I have a small request. 🙂 I'm currently going through (or, at least until a few weeks ago, was going through) one of the toughest phases of my life. It was something very personal, and it left me very emotionally weak. So, I kindly request everyone to be polite, patient, and respectful when reporting issues or asking questions. Your understanding genuinely means a lot to me. ❤️ With every Android release, we go through a complete ROM source rebase, starting from scratch and reimplementing or porting features to the newer Android version. This is a significant process, and it's natural for some features to be temporarily removed or for issues to appear in the early releases. Most of these issues are addressed and managed within the next 2–3 releases. So, please be patient throughout with me 😄. I also want to say something from the heart. ❤️ - I have never demanded or called out for a single penny for this project, whether here in this channel or to anyone else personally. I've always worked on Project Infinity X purely out of passion as a hobby and as my own child. All I ask in return is that anybody don't order me around or treat me disrespectfully over something I've been doing out of my own interest and love for Android development. I am the only person that is working behind the project whether it be rom source / devices / releases / website / download cdn / banners / designs / maintainer relations / translations / community management. and I have a very tiring all-day job already along with so many commitments to care about 🥹 Recently, some people have been quite disrespectful in the way they've spoken to me simply because the Android 17 release was taking longer than expected.
