this tropical cyclone might not be over water long enough to become a named storm, that’s still up in the air. what’s not in question is the path. late tonight it’s slated to land and bring substantial rain and potential flooding to the Louisiana coast. afterwards it will head northeast into Mississippi & Alabama and with it bring a proper dousing. overall not a crazy system but it does show how quickly these things can materialize 🌀

👀 future Arthur (as of now it hasn’t reached the 40mph tropical storm threshold) looks to impact the Texas/Louisiana border tonight with most of the rain & wind being off to the east of the rotation. will follow up when the weather nerds get going today 🌀
