The US is threatening sanctions against India after India and Iran signed the Chabahar Port deal. It's also threating any other nation which deals with Iran. It currently sanctions Russia and Belarus. It's also threatening Georgia after today's vote. At this point, wouldn't it be quicker for the rest of the world to just sanction America?

The only ones upset about the foreign agent law in Georgia are those entities who are trying to hide who funds them and their organisations. If you're trying to effect the politics and procedures within a nation, it is important to declare who funds you so that people have an informed decision on what your agenda may be. This is why these "protestors" have sprang into action. Because entities like the CIA and MI6 do not want it known that they fund troublesome organisations in Georgia. And so they trigger their agents and paid goons to start a riot, which will lead to armed conflict if not diffused quickly.
