Soothing a crying baby can be an all-night affair for parents. But even more difficult: Figuring out why an infant might be upset in the first place. Machine learning expert Charles Onu thinks of it like trying to decode a foreign language without a dictionary. He wondered whether he could create a translator of sorts with the help of AI, CNET reported. While studying babies’ cries in Nigeria, Onu came up with a hypothesis: What if different types of cries correspond to different needs? An “I’m hungry” cry, for instance, might sound different than an “I’m tired” one. To test his theory, he set out to record as many baby cries as he could from hospitals around the world. Here’s how it works: Parents can record a few seconds of their baby’s cries and ask the app to analyze the audio. Nanni will then give some tailored recommendations for how to comfort them. With 150,000 downloads so far, the algorithm is getting even more accurate now that more parents are feeding their recordings into the model. #AI

Turkiya Burslari experience Math: So, we had 40 questions for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Roughly 10 of them were IQ related questions similar to sample questions, and last ones(hardest ones) were geometry questions(around 5 only, but they were much harder than algebra). Ig these geometry questions will differentiate typical students from smarter ones. Topics I remember having in my exam: inverse functions, differentiations, integral, circle and triangle angle, trapezium, logarithm, trigonometry, arithmetic sequence and factorial knowledge combined. Try to use your time wisely. For me, honestly time was not enough a bit. So, ig they intentionally lowered time to see how fast we can solve. Interview: After the interview they will start the interview. You can choose any language although I would suggest choosing English or Turkish so you would not need translator. You can also choose Uzbek or Russian. Make sure to know what is happening recently related to your major. I somehow assumed with high probability interviewer won't be professor of your major, so questions r not very difficult. They asked about my other scholarship options, why turkey, why your major. Then other parts were mostly about what I was saying in the answers. When I told them I am passionate about behavioral economics, I had to give a lecture about how supermarkets use science to make us buy more. So, advice would be at least be passionate about a topic in your major and make sure to be ready to give small lecture about it. Also interviewer will be taking notes so hope it does not bother you. In my case, his typing speed so ... ( U can fill the blank)But he was very friendly. What else, be ready for long lines especially for the interview. It is lasting for around 15 minutes for each candidate. And in the end, you will have a opportunity to ask question. Use it wisely, my interviewer even wrote something on his note after my last question. Important note: When entering the school, feel free to bring something to eat, your phone also. Devices in test room? Fine as long as you are not using them. Especially you might need them when you are in loooong line. Hope it was useful, and good luck to all candidates! #sharing_is_caring @my_path_of_life

In a classic flip-flop, ChatGPT 4.0 faced a trolley problem: save a unique AI or a Nobel Prize-winning economist? First, our editor tried it, and ChatGPT chose the AI! But just minutes later, I used slightly different wording, and ChatGPT did a 180, picking the economist instead. Big win for humanity! Btw, you can try it yourself.
