Ibn Abi ad-dunya mentioned that the Prophet Dawud (alayhi salam) asked Allah: "What is the least of your blessings?.” Allah revealed to him, "O Dawud, take a breath." Dawud did so, and Allah told him: "That is the least of My Blessings on you.” [Excerpt from Patience and Gratitude by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah | Pg. 70] https://t.me/Meadow047

Give Life to this Sunnah and May Allah Give You Success On the authority of Ubayy ibn Ka’b -may Allah be pleased with him- who said: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ would say after the taslim of the Witr prayer:Sub-ha-nal Malikil Quddus (Exalted are You, the Sovereign, the Holy)” three times, raising his voice with the third one.” [Its chain is sahih, reported in Mishkat al-Masabih 1227] https://t.me/Meadow047

Ahmad bin Abdillah Al-Hafidh Abu Nu’aym al-Asbahani -may Allah have mercy on him- One of the great scholars, Suduq (ie: a truthful person), about whom criticisms were made without hujjah (ie: proper evidences). However, this was for him an uqubah (ie: punishment) from Allah for his unjust words about Ibn Mandah on the basis of hawa (ie: desires and whim). Ad-Dhahabi, Mizan Al-I'tidaal 1/111 https://t.me/Meadow047

Khadijah -may Allah be pleased with her- was one of the most perfect of an-nisa' (ie: women). She was aqil (ie: intelligent), jalilah (ie: honourable), devoted, virtuous and karimah (ie: generous). She is from Ahl al-Jannah (ie: the people of Paradise). The Prophet ﷺ used to praise her above the rest of the Mothers of the Believers. Ad-Dhahabi, Siyar A'lam an-Nubala 2/110 https://t.me/Meadow047

Al-Fallas reported: I heard Abu Dawud -may Allah have mercy on him- saying: “I can recite 30,000 narrations and there is no arrogance in this. And in my heart there are 12,000 narrations of Uthman al-Burri that none from the people of Basrah have asked me about, So I went to Asbahan and I narrated these narrations to them.” Ad-Dhahabi, Siyar A'lam an-Nubala 9/383 https://t.me/Meadow047

Abu Bakr al-Birqani said: “Ad-Daraqutni dictated his book al-Ilal to me from his memory.” Ad-Dhahabi, Siyar A'lam an-Nubala 16/455 https://t.me/Meadow047

As-Shaykh Muhammad bin Adam Al-Ithiobi -may Allah have mercy on him- said: What is obligatory upon the Muslim if his madhab opposes a hadith Sahih is that he leaves his madhab and acts upon what is textually authentic. He excuses his Imam with the excuse that this particular text did not reach him, or it reached him but he incorrectly explained to indicate something else. So pay attention to this point: O intellectual one. As this issue is very important, yet many of those about whom good and uprightness is assumed contradicted this issue. However, al-insaan (ie: the humans) are prone to error. Like Al-Imam Malik -may Allah have mercy on him- said: “Everyone has his speech taken or rejected except the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” And Allah the Exalted knows best that which is correct. Al-Bahr al-Muheet at-Thajaaj Sharh Sahih Al-Imam Muslim bin Al-Hajjaj 13/34 https://t.me/Meadow047

Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah -may Allah have mercy on him- said: “If a slave finds shortcomings in his close relatives, spouse, children, neighbours and his siblings then let him make du'a (for them) and seek forgiveness for them.” Majmu al-Fatawa | 11/698 https://t.me/Meadow047

💯 Miscellaneous Benefits from Yemen BENEFIT 72: EASY ZAKAH CALCULATION When one's annual savings exceeds the threshold (Nisaab), they have to give 2.5% of the total amount towards Zakah. The easiest way to calculate 2.5% is to divide the total amount by 40. For example: 2.5% of £5000 = £5000 ÷ 40 = £125 £125 is the amount I must give to charity. https://t.me/madrasatuna/1294

The noble Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymin may Allah the Exalted have mercy on him was asked regarding: the hukm (ie: ruling) on delaying az-zakah until Ramadhan (ie: for the reward associated with that month)? The noble (Shaykh) answered: Zakah, like other good deeds, if done at a time that is regarded as having special virtue, that is better, but when zakah becomes due and the year has passed, it becomes obligatory to pay it, and it should not be delayed until Ramadhan. If the zakah year ends in Rajab, he should not delay it until Ramadhan; rather he should pay it in Rajab. If the zakah year ends in Muharram, he should pay it in Muharram and not delay it until Ramadhan. But if the zakah year ends in Ramadhan, then he should pay it in Ramadhan. The same applies if some emergency arises among the Muslims and he wants to bring forward his zakah and give it before the year has passed; there is nothing wrong with that. Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymin, Majmu al-Fatawa wa Rasa'il 18/295 https://t.me/Meadow047

Ibn Daqiq Al-'idy -may Allah have mercy on him- said: The honour of the Muslims is a pit of Hellfire. Two groups from the people are standing at the edge (of this pit): al-muhadithin and wal-hukkam (ie: the scholars of hadith and the judges due to how they have to speak about the conditions of narrators).” As-Suyuti, Tadrib Ar-Rawi fi Sharh Taqrib An-Nawawi 2/892 https://t.me/Meadow047

Abu al-Qaasim bin Mani' reported: I wanted to go to Suwayd bin Sa'eed, So I said to Ahmad Ibn Hanbal: “Write to him for me (to introduce me to him so he may narrate to me).” So he wrote: “And this is a man who writes hadith.” So I said: O Abu Abd Allah (ie: Imam Ahmad) it would be better for you and for me if you wrote: “This man is from Ashaab (ie: disciples of) al-Hadith.” He said (in reply): “Sahib al-Hadith according to us is the one who acts upon the narrations (not just writes them down).” Al-Khateeb al-Baghdadi, Al-Jami li Akhlaq Ar-Rawi wa Adab As-Sami' 1/144 https://t.me/Meadow047

Abu Ja'far At-Tustari reported that Abu Zur'ah ar-Razi -may Allah have mercy on him- said: “I have in my house what I wrote fifty years ago, and I have not looked at it since I wrote it. Yet i remember something and know which book it is in, which page it is on and what line it is in.” Muhammad bin Adam al-Ithiobi, al-Bahr al-Muhiit at-Thajj Sharh Sahih Al-Imam Muslim bin Al-Hajjaj 42/484 https://t.me/Meadow047

Malik bin Dinar -may Allah have mercy on him- said: “The righteous would advise one another with three things: Imprisoning al-lisan (the tongue), Seeking much Istighfar (forgiveness), and al-uzlah (seclusion).” Ibn Abid-Dunya, al-Uzlah wal-Infirad 1/45 https://t.me/Meadow047

Ibn Buraydah reported from his father that the Messengerﷺ said:There are three types of judges: Two types will be in the an-Nar(Hellfire), and one type will be in al-Jannah (Paradise). The judge that does not judge truthfully while knowing it, and a judge that judges knowing he is disregarding the rights of the people, these two types are in an-Nar. And the judge who's judgment is based upon the truth while knowing this, then he is in al-Jannah.” Ibn Abd al-Barr, Jami Bayan al-ilm wa Fadhlihi 2/878 https://t.me/Meadow047

Abd Ar-Rahman bin al-Qasim -may Allah have mercy on him- said: It is not permissible for anyone to describe Allah except with that which He described Himself with in the Qur’an, And one is not to resemble His ( Allah’s ) two Hands with anything, Nor His Face with anything, But he is to say: “He ( Allah ) has two Hands as He described Himself in the Qur'an, and He has a Face as He described Himself.” He is to stop at what Allah described Himself with in The Book (Qur’an), There is no likeness to Him may He be Blessed and Exalted, nor a similar, He is Allah , La ilaha illa huwa (no deity is worthy of worship but He).
